What a kind and supportive environment. Lots and lots of gowns to chose from. Not the high couture experience, but who really wants that when you are already stressed. No high pressure. Helped my daughter sort through what she thought she might want, to finding the dress for her. They were so nice, they even stayed open late because we were from out of town

I purchased my wedding gown here yesterday and the customer service was amazing! The store owner, Alison was amazing she made my whole bridal shopping such a great experience. There service here is great I recommend it to anyone getting their wedding gowns here. Alison was able to work with me one on one and I literally had the store to myself. I recommend going in during a weekday for a dress appointment fitting because they are busy on weekends! Regardless they will take care of you!

I live in southern Marin County. I came here several years ago for a graduation dress for one of my daughters.(The school had many specifications.) We came to Starlet, and they were helpful and pleasant, and we ordered the PERFECT dress. So, I came back when my other daughter needed a wedding dress. We were not disappointed. We were treated to courteous, helpful, knowledgeable service. My daughter hasn’t found«the dress» yet, but said that if she finds it somewhere else, we will be back to Starlet for the bridesmaids dresses because it was such a pleasant experience, and they deserve the business!

This review is for the Pleasant Hill store. Truly the worst customer service I have ever had. The sales associate, seemingly manager, of the store, was rude. She insulted the reception dresses I had picked out and was incredibly unhelpful. Words can not express the disappointment and frustration this lady brought upon my shopping experience. Quotes from the lady, «Really? Unless you’re getting married in Vegas or something this is really inappropriate.» «Are you sure you want a reception dress anyway, why?» «And why don’t you just buy a full length dress and whack off the rest?»… Is she trying to get business? Ok, I’m done.

Having my own business in the same town it really shocks me that this store seems to think it can function on it’s name alone. Customer service is the key to success and I think the sales women at the store in Montgomery Village need a seminar covering this. I went in with my daughter to purchase a Prom dress and they did not even acknowledge us when we walked in the door. We felt we had interrupted them in there deep negative conversation about a customer that just left! Feeling a little uncomfortable and a lot of tension, my daughter continued to look and did try on a few dresses. NONE of them fit her and the sales girl was trying to get us to believe it did! We also noticed beads missing, tears in the hem, and loose rhinestones. I’m sure they would of probably made us pay to put them back on too! To say the least we left with money in hand and bought a dress at a boutique in Davis. Where the staff was very well trained in excellent customer service.

I’ve always had a good experience here– I purchased a gown last year for the Marine Corps Ball and thought the dress, and the service was excellent. I’ve enjoyed shopping with Starlet so much I even purchased my wedding gown from Starlet Bridal. I’m not sure what the other reviewer’s issue was, but I would reccomend this shop to anyone looking for a semi-formal or formal gown.
