Best bridal shop in northern California! I highly recommend this shop for your wedding dress. A few months ago, I was short on time and losing hope on finding the right dress. After searching dozens of shops for an elegant, modern and well made dress without having to spend thousands of dollars, I was down to the last minute and almost forced to settle.
Fortunately, I ended up at Starlet and my perseverance paid off! They were caring, professional and the only store in the area who carry the makers of my dress, Pollardi. I couldn’t love my dress more – it came in quickly and looks amazing. The alterations done by Lina were also impeccable. High marks all around!

I loved my experience buying my wedding dress here! Irene was so helpful and patient with me. She listened to my vision and gave me her honest opinion on each dress. Starlet is very professional, provides champagne, and makes the wedding dress hunt easy! They had great communication and treated me kindly every time I went in. They do suit rentals too. They even call me every time a groomsman orders his suit. They made me feel really special and I am grateful for their part in my wedding!

Such a disappointing 10 minutes of my life. Walked in and the sales lady (Irene) looked at me and didn’t even acknowledge me. 10 minutes later I walk over to her and ask for help. I’m here to schedule an appointment for myself and my five bridesmaids and she makes a HUGE deal out of it. «Oh 5 bridesmaids, hopefully that’s all you have, we can’t accommodate any more than that, we don’t have enough chairs». Ok lady, got it. I have too many bridesmaids for you to sell dresses to. She then goes on AGAIN «That’s A LOT of bridesmaids especially on a Saturday. Please don’t bring anyone else with you». Ok lady, I won’t bring my mother or anyone else. You just lost a potential of seven dresses (with the mother of the brides dress thrown in there). I’ll take my $ 5000 budget elsewhere.

Ultimately I purchased my dress at another salon, but Irene was amazing, and I really liked the experience at Starlet. I went with just my Mom on a weekday (HIGHLY recommend a weekday if you are local — you practically have the store to yourself!) and we were able to try on just about any dress I wanted (I should also note that I am not a standard sample size, and their selection was fantastic to accommodate larger samples). Definitely stop in at Starlet when you are starting your search!

Starlet saved me. They took my budget in a pinch and made sure I had plenty of options. I chose a dress and went to their seamstress LINA who is a godsend! She customized my dress to perfection when every other seamstress said they couldn’t. My dress was EXACTLY what I always imagined. Lina completely altered the back of my dress, took off some beading and even made me a custom sash and bow from a piece of fabric I bought from Joanns lol.

i went to 20 other bridal shops all over san francisco, san jose, petaluma, rohnert park, oakland, santa rosa and i was just not satisfied with any!
every other place i went into i tried on more than 20 dresses and … just felt overwhelmed and not completely in love with any of them. it seemed impossible since im ussually quick for shopping but no one could get it quite right with the selection of dresses they brought to me.
finally i went to starlet… idk why i didnt go there sooner since i live close by it… but i finally did. i met IRENE who is a sweet heart and made the whole process so easy, and fun and beautiful one that i will never forget. when i met her i showed her the pictures of the dress i liked and explained what i was looking for. she came back with 3 dresses… and each and every one of them was dead spot on. then she said oh i know which one youre gonna love. she cameback with the dress of my dreams… i tried it on and came out and everyone broke to tears, including her. IT WAS THE DRESS. they did the impossible to get the dress to me in time.
when it came in no alterations were needed, but we ended up getting all my bridesmaids and groomsman, flower girls, and both my and my now husbands mom’s attire. when some of our groomsman cancelled on us last minute they were nice enough to not make us pay for their flakyness and were so supportive.

I said yes to the dress! I was online obsessing over what kind of a dress I wanted and finally decided I needed to go in and try some on. Starlet was my first and only stop, Kim was SO great and picked great selections for my budget and most of all the look I wanted. The rest of the staff was great as well, my party was treated to cupcakes and champagne while they waited. I was never pressed to make a selection or purchase — I would recommend Starlet Bridal and thank them for helping me pick a beautiful dress.

I had the absolute best experience trying on dresses at Starlet. This was my first stop and I was nervous and didn’t really know what I was looking. Kimberly took the time to look at my pinterest boards and asked me a few questions before she went off and somehow knew the perfect dresses to have me try on. She was so patient and never pressured me. I ended up falling in love with the very first dress I tried on and I tried it back on several different times after that. I can’t imagine a better experience! Thank you ladies!

Starlet Bridal is everything you could hope for in a wedding dress shopping experience. I brought 5 people with me to look for my dress. We were greeted by Irene, our personalized sales associate, and shown to an area of the salon that they had already set up with all the chairs we needed. They even had (delicious!) cupcakes and refreshments set out for us. When I told them I had a bridesmaid in London that I wanted to FaceTime during the process they even gave me the wifi information so that we could include her. Irene sat down with me to discuss what exactly it was that I was looking for, what I wanted and didn’t want, and what my budget was. She then went around the store and gathered all of the dresses she thought I might like, including a few my mom chose. I tried on an array of several dresses in every style I had mentioned, all of which were stunning and exactly what I had asked for. We were there for almost 2 hours and had to leave due to a lunch reservation. I also had a second appointment at a different store that afternoon, no part of which you could even compare to this one. I ended up racing back to Starlet to buy the second dress I tried on.
I cannot thank Starlet and Irene enough. They made my day so special and care free. I felt like a princess! We’ll be back for the bridesmaid dresses for sure!

This was my first stop for wedding dress shopping. I was very nervous, and worried nobody would take me seriously since my fiancé and I are having a long engagement (but I want to get as much done early as possible!). I shouldn’t have worried, the sales people at Starlet are so, so kind and really took care of me.
Plus, they gave my mom and me champagne, which helped take the edge off of the idea of spending so much on a single outfit. Smart strategy.

The ladies at Starlet were awesome to work with! Not only did they help me find the perfect wedding and rehearsal dresses, they were there for me every step of the way — including when I decided to use a personal friend to alter the dress and it still wasn’t fitting a week before my wedding (talk about a freak out)!! But Allison and here team were there to assure me it would be ok and more importantly, to make it happen! They fit me in the very next day with their seamstress and I had a perfectly fitting rehearsal and wedding dress less than 48 hours later.
I love going to a place where you can walk in and be greeted by name. They will also store your wedding dress for you prior to you wedding, so you don’t have to worry about anything happening to it.
I had a destination wedding so I purchased a secondary dress bag to travel with, and when I came to pick up my dress before heading to the airport they had added my initials in pink with little rhinestones to my travel bag. It was the smallest thing, but it made me so happy and excited, like that was the moment I realize «oh wow this is really happening!!».

Loved my wedding dress and alterations! They are super helpful and the best spot in Sonoma County for bridal dresses and wedding party suits. I would recommend their service to everyone!

FINALLY, a place where normal women can try on dresses~!
Is it just me or are most wedding dress shops like the store on Mean Girls where the lady says, «We only carry sizes: 1, 3, and 5. You can try Sears.»
As many people know, wedding dresses run 2 – 4 sizes too small and send out sample sizes to stores in the equivalents to sizes 4 and 6, and sometimes 8, if you’re lucky. Well, most women aren’t that size unless you’re a child bride. Thank goodness for Starlet Bridal. Although I had to make a 200 mile round trip from Sacramento, it was well worth it to actually be able to try on ALL the designer wedding dresses (Maggie Sottero, Sophia Tolli, Allure etc.) in NORMAL sizes.
The store owner, Allie, was so welcoming and attentive. I told her exactly what I was looking for and she actually had the dress and pulled several similar dresses for me to try on. She clearly knows her stock and each designer like the back of her hand. She also makes you feel so comfortable and offered cookies, lemonade, and champagne to make the event so much more than just another trip to a store. She recognizes the little things about the experience that truly make it special.
The staff are also amazing. Jennifer was so down to earth, honest, and polite. It’s not everyday you have someone helping you pull your dress out from your underwear, but Jennifer does it like a pro and makes you feel at ease.
I have been to 5 or 6 dress stores, both as a bride and a bridesmaid, but Starlet is hands down the best. It’s like shopping with friends who just happen to be professionals, rather than sales people. Thanks, Starlet for helping me find my dream wedding dress!

I can not say enough amazing things about Starlet Bridal.
Let me start off with I had a very active and inquisitive 8 yr old boy with me and they were not only attentive to us but seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with him! I’ve never seen anything like it. As his mom I have gotten used to rude looks from sales people if he so much as sneezes while we’re talking, but they even gave him a giant feather to play with!
The whole experience was amazing. Perfectly gracious and accommodating, the way a bridal experience should be and more.
Without commission it frees the women working to be a cohesive and warm team with the brides best interest in mind.
I ended up purchasing my dress and veil on the spot not only because I LOVED it so so much but because I was happy to give them my money. I won’t spend anything anywhere where the staff can’t be polite and they were not only polite but an absolute pleasure! We didn’t even want to leave! We’ll be going back to look at bridesmaids dresses for sure!
They also do a free party for your bridesmaids to shop for their dresses too with a percentage discount. I look forward to setting that up!

Staff is very nice. That is really the only good thing I can say. I rented a tux from them and when it came in the coat was tight and the sleeves were too short. The shirt was too small everywhere and the pants were too big. This was after I traveled for over an hour twice. The first time was so I could get measured «properly». Knowing that the wedding I was in was out of town they told me they would overnight new pieces to me. That didn’t happen either. Finally the day of the wedding I got the new pieces. Mind you I was out of state and waiting for another groomsman to show up with my stuff. I tried it on still didn’t fit. I would not recommend anyone remt a tux there. They seem to do a better job with dreses.

I found my dream wedding dress at Starlet! As soon as I put it on I was beaming ear to ear! It was PERFECT! And Irene was a doll to work with! We ended up buying all the bridesmaids’ dresses and renting all the tuxedos there as well. Everyone looked so GOOD on the Big Day! Lina, with Lina’s Alterations, was recommended to me through Starlet. You can tell she truly loves what she does. And it shows. I would definitely recommend her. Everything turned out beautifully! I went in to the shop today to look for a Bridal Gown for my destination wedding. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The sales associate (ALLISON) asked me what type of dress I wanted. I told her. She went directly to the racks. Picked up 4 dresses. I fell in LOVE with the first 2. I walked out with my dress dress in less than one hour.

I have always loved Starlet. Way back when I was just finishing with high school, I wandered through their old store around the corner from where they are now, and I drooled at the magnificent yards of lace, tuille, and satin. So much glamour, beading, sparkles, and jewels! Then I saw the price tags and just about wet my pants. Fast forward ten years…
I started my wedding dress shopping elsewhere, and had a neutral experience. Decided to give Starlet a try because things had changed since I was the high school aged, dreamy eyed romantic, and so had my taste in fashion. It was easy to get an appointment, and they even told me they’d throw me a party if I brought my mom and at least one bridesmaid (which I was planning on doing anyway). Score!
Their new location has bridal downstairs and prom/​special occasion upstairs so we don’t have to share try on space. We had a perfectly secluded area of the store just for ourselves, with beautifully iced petit fours, and sparkling pink lemonaid for refreshments, as trying on dresses is hard work (no seriously, it really is). The team that assisted us went out of their way to help me with trying on cumbersome corsets, awkward a-​lines, bothersome buttons, and tenuous trains, but at the end… there it was. The dress of my dreams. Heck, it was so beautiful, *I* would marry myself! Hot damn.
Not only did we find the dress and the veil, but we also got to try on dresses for my mom as mother of the bride, and try on bridesmaids dresses form my bridal party. because I bought my dress there, they give 10% off all accessories and 10% off all bridal party outfits, so that’s worth remembering for ya’ll brides.
Effortless, fun, and helpful, Starlet knows what they’re doing for brides in the Wine Country. Prices are comparable to competitors, but you won’t find individualized attention and care anywhere else in Sonoma County like you will find at Starlet.
