Executive Charters & Limousine

Some of these reviews made me nervous, but I have nothing bad to say about them.
1. No hourly minimum on weekends, unlike most of the limo services in the area. This made their service about 30% cheaper than the other companies I called for the same trips.
2. They gracefully accommodated me as I made repeated pickup/​dropoff time change requests, even on a holiday weekend
3. Our driver arrived on time for both parts of the round trip. I also got a confirmation text and phone call while he was on the way, which was great.
4. The Sprinter van-​limo was very cool and made the children in our party very excited
5. The driver, Vince, was super nice, drove safely, and took the turns slowly to keep the motion sickness-​prone children in our party giggling instead of spewing.

keep looking for another limo company. We booked with this company and never got a conformation email or a reservation number (my bad) I should have known to ask for that.
On the day before my daughters prom I called to confirm. I left a message know one returned my call. On the day of the prom I called again. They had no record of our reservation and had nothing to accommodate our party of 32 kids leaving for prom in 2 hours! Needless to say we had to get on the phone and call several limo companies this was not only stressful for me but also for her. Luckily we found a great company very professional that walked me through the process and got our kids to and from with out a hitch.

I reserved a sprinter and instead a shuttle van showed up. I don’t mind a change but I hate surprises, especially when I’m paying. There was no forewarning that there was a vehicle & rate change. The driver was nice and navigated the narrow roads to our vacation home well.

What an amazing day!
I spent a lot of time researching to plan a wine country day for our wedding anniversary and Executive Charters seemed perfect for us. We’ve done wine country tours before in Napa and Sonoma and we wanted something a little more personal this time.
Our driver was Vincent and he created an itinerary for us based on the type of wines we like. He was very knowledgable and totally flexible with our plans. After a couple winery visits, we happened to drive by Frances Ford Coppola’s winery and I mentioned that I love his wines. Vincent changed the plan for us to visit the winery and we very much enjoyed it!
I would definitely recommend seeing wine country via private charter and more specifically, Executive Charters!

The point to point service was good but their customer service is badly lacking. I was overcharged based on the quote and it took a week and numerous voicemails and emails to get a credit issued and a detailed bill that I asked for, which was still incorrect. I eventually called operations, the only one to answer the phone live and they seemed to get things moving. They then claimed they never received my messages. As I still had a problem I contacted both Ashley (accounting) and Victoria (reservations manager) numerous times by email and voicemail all with no response. I eventually even asked them to just let me know if they did not intend responding, nothing! I then contacted the driver Mark and explained the problem and he assured me it was a mistake and although they were difficult to get hold of (understatement) that he would take care of it. As a potential regular customer I asked him to make the owner was aware of the Customer Service they provided, again no response. I stopped by the Healdsburg office but I cant figure out when anyone is there, the phone appears to go to a central location. I have given up and moved on and chalked this up to experience (a bad one), if my experience is typical not sure how they stay in business. There are more proffessional Limousine services out there trust me.

This is my first experience using Executive Charters and I do not plan to use them again.
Everything started off great, booked an appointment with Andrew for a shuttle bus. He even went the extra mile and found a larger bus to comfortably accommodate our group. Thanks! We had a large group staying at two hotels in Santa Rosa and were meeting up with other colleagues for a dinner in Healdsburg.
Strike 1: Driver #1 goes to wrong hotel first. Our hotel group arrival was delayed 40 minutes causing making everyone already there wait for us to start dinner.
Strike 2: Driver #2 (yes the return driver was a different one) chose to pull the giant executive charter bus down the host’s narrow driveway and behind their house. A simple pickup in front of the house would have been fine and the host would have been much happier.
Strike 3: they did not provide me with a receipt. Usually not a big deal, but since this was a work related trip I needed the records.
Strike 4: I called to obtain a receipt and spoke with Andrew. He said he would get back to me that business day with a receipt and did not.
Strike 5: They emailed me the receipt two days after reaching out to them multiple times over the two days. THANKS FINALLY! Oh wait, you charged my credit card for more than the amount shown on the receipt. I responded to their email immediately after receiving it to straighten it out and no response.
Strike 6: I waited till noon to see if they would respond to my email with an accurate receipt but no. Call at noon Andrew says he will get back to me within the hour. Hour goes by, no response. Two hours later and more phone call messages by me and no response. Finally now I get a reply.
If you tell a customer you are going to follow up and do something, DO IT!

First of all, in my first experience with this company they sent a follow-​up email saying if we gave a good Unilocal review they would send us a gift card (which they NEVER sent by the way), so please keep in that mind when you see all the positive reviews. THEY BRIBE CUSTOMERS FOR POSITIVE REVIEWS!
Anyway, I had used this company once before and in that experience there was nothing to complain about (though the limo had smelled like weed, but I was blaming that on the previous customers). My fiancé decided to use them again for a limo wine tasting day he planned for his proposal to me. Unfortunately our second experience with them was less than ideal, but that is not the reason for this review. No, the reason is actually because of their lack of professional management. We contacted the company via email the following day of our service (June 21, 2015 to be exact) and no one responded. We sent a follow up email and got a reply from Ashley saying «I am going to contact the GM direct myself» and still no response (Ashley is actually related to the GM, so I am not surprised). We then called, and they said the GM was out but would call back that day… NO CALL. This GM is just WAY too cool to spend a minute of his precious time to deal with a disgruntled customer.
Below I have pasted the email I sent to the company about our experience. It sums up what happened and what we were asking for in return:
«I recently booked one of your limos for a very special life event. I had a limo rental to go wine tasting in Healdsburg, where I proposed to my girlfriend. I wanted the entire day to be perfect and having a limo was essential in that.
I have used your company previously for wine tasting and I really had a great experience, so I decided to go with your company again, even though there were a few less expensive options out there.
When I rented a limo from you last time (February of 2014), the limo was stocked with champagne flutes, a type of whiskey bourbon, vodka, jolly ranchers, and an AUX adapter for us to play music from our phones.
When I entered the limo this past Saturday, there was only the complimentary bottle of Korbel and plastic cups. It looked a little depressing with all the empty slots for things that I knew were previously included.
That alone, though disappointing, would not have given me a negative experience. The bad experience we endured was that fact that it was over 90 degrees and the A/​C (and radio and ceiling lights) were intermittent the ENTIRE day. We spend a good 15 – 20 minutes outside our friends house while we waited for the issue to try and be resolved (which it wasn’t). The A/​C would not kick in until after we had been driving at a high speed for about 20 minutes. I literally sweated through my nice shirt on the drive to the proposal location.
I tried to not let this ruin my special day, but it was hard to ignore in the blazing heat, and all passengers in the limo were making comments about how uncomfortable it was. When we reached our last winery we ran out of time, but we’re in the middle of our tasting so decided to wait it out. When I got dropped off I paid the extra $ 70 for the extra time, even though the time we spent finishing our tasting was equivalent to the time we spent just sitting outside the house while trying to fix the A/​C.
I would really like to make sure that you know that your driver, Dustin, was VERY professional about everything. He tried to fix it, and it was most definitely not his fault, it was a problem with the limo itself. I also do not hold him responsible for the missing items, as I can only assume that is not his job as a driver. Dustin was extremely friendly and accommodating, he even offered to pick us up sandwiches while we were at our second stop. He even bought me and my fiancé a nice bottle of wine to congratulate us in our engagement. I would for sure request him as a driver in the future, he was a fantastic driver and made the whole experience more enjoyable than it could have been.
I just thought you needed to know about the dysfunctional limo, and the fact that I was charged for extra time when I don’t think I should have been due to the ongoing issues.
I have always recommended your company to friends, and I know I will be searching for a limo/​shuttle buses for our now upcoming wedding, but I must say I am tentative to use your company. While your drivers are the ideal choice, the risk of having a poorly stocked limo and/​or equipment failures force me to possibly start considering other options.
Please let me know if you know of any ways to rectify this situation, as I do know my first experience with you was great.

We used Executive Charters in mid-​October for a day of wine tasting. We booked a Mercedes for three people the day before with no problem. Our driver, Andrew, is very knowledgeable about the area and suggested some great wineries to us. He’s also personable and courteous. We were very pleased we had Andrew as our driver and, we highly recommend Executive Charters!

I used Executive Charters for my wedding to shuttle guests to and from a hotel in Ukiah to Hopland. Since my wedding, I’ve heard nothing from my guests except how awesome the driver, Mark B., was and what a great experience they had on the shuttle. I think they may have enjoyed the shuttle more than our wedding. :)
I searched high and low for a shuttle company before deciding on Executive Charters. Ultimately, Executive Charters offered the best and most competitive price for services. The shuttle was really nice, with cool purple mood lighting. Although we had specified a route from hotel to venue, Mark was able to make stops along the way to accommodate other guests, which everyone greatly appreciated.

Me and my husband recently rented a Limo from this company, it was the worst trip of our lives. Our driver whos name was Mark was high as a kite. We wouldn’t advise anyone to rent a Limo from this company.

I was so pleased to find Executive Charters & Limousine. I called many local places and they ALL had higher prices and you had to rent the bus for a certain amount of time. There were 22 guests going to a wedding from Petaluma to Healdsburg. The bus fit exactly that. We wanted to be dropped off and picked up. NO other company would do that! I dealt with Andrew and called him many times for varies things! Thanks for putting up with me Andrew! It meet our needs and I hope it will do the same for you! On time as well. Close communication too.

My experience with Executive Charters & Limousine was top notch from start to finish.
I had my services cancelled from the previous company I had booked with and I needed to find a back-​up quickly. I spoke with Andrew and he took care of me right away. The customer service from this company is fabulous. When I called the day before our wine tasting trip to confirm, I was reassured that everything was set for us. And sure enough, our driver Vince was early, totally professional and fun, the limo was great, there were water bottles for everyone, and a nice bottle of champagne waiting on ice for us.
Very satisfied with this company, and would highly recommend. Thanks again!

Great company, would definitely use them again! I wanted to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday, and Executive Charters totally helped me accomplish it! I just told them we wanted to go on a wine tour with a few friends but that we weren’t all that experienced on wine tasting so didn’t really know where to go. They planned the whole thing, picking the tasting rooms we would go to, and I couldn’t have picked better places!
The limo was very clean, had an aux cord for our music, and they had it stocked with a cold bottle of champagne, some other hard alcohol and also gave my girlfriend a bottle of wine as a birthday gift. Our driver was Vince, and he was very friendly and professional and had good advice on the places we were going (he suggested a really good restaurant that had amazing pizza).
I recommend this company and the driver to anyone looking for a nice, professional, and luxurious wine tour. They were reliable, helpful, and friendly!

I rarely write poor reviews. But anyone who’s even thinking about using this company should continue to look elsewhere. We booked a limo service over 3 weeks ago for service over this past weekend, even paid for half of the fees; 10 women ready for a fun filled day of wine tasting for my best friend’s Bachelorette party.
THE LIMO NEVER SHOWED. We waited for 45 minutes after the scheduled pick up time — i finally called the company and got a very non-​apologetic man who had no idea who we were, but assured us the driver was «probably on his way». When I asked for the drivers # so I could contact him myself, he said «I don’t really know how to get ahold of him». At the 1 hour mark, we finally decided to just jump in our own cars and wine taste on our own. We missed our first scheduled appt with a winery, and the limo literally never showed.
First thing Monday morning i called the company to get my money back. Again, i spoke with a man who stated «I just answer the phones, but i’ll pass this info onto the manager. You’ll most likely get your money back at the end of the week». Not one SORRY from anyone so far, not one explanation to why the limo never showed up, and a very disappointed bride-​to-​be. A simple «I’m sorry» could’ve gone far in this situation.
Why would the manager never contact us to settle all of this? The customer service for this company is horrible. I’m still waiting to get my money back, and i’ve yet to hear an «i’m sorry».
Please take your business elsewhere. It’s not worth the risk of them not showing up on your special day/​occasion :-(

I wrote a bad review awhile back and Andrew called me to fix it. By the time I ended up getting back to him, my Groupon had expired but they still let me use it. They also provided a free bottle of champagne for the trouble, and complimentary access to the hard liquor bar.
I had to change the pick-​up time and location (from Napa to Santa Rosa) and didn’t get our itinerary to them until last minute. But they were very accomodating.
Our driver Lou was very helpful. We did our tour in Healdsburg which he knew extremely well. We started late bc half our group got stuck in traffic. I didn’t think we could hit more than 2 wineries with 8 people after leaving an hour late but we made it to at least 4. At the end, Lou took us to a large tasting «resort» that was open late. He also took us to our restaurant a little after our time was up with no issue.
Overall, a really nice trip! Andrew went the extra mile to make amends for any issues I had at the beginning, Lou was great, and I think our whole group had a great time (and plenty of wine!).

I had out of town guests whom I wanted to take wine tasting. I used Executive Charters despite the bad reviews. I’m happy I did. I organized everything with Josh and he had Matt pick up my party on time and void of any hassle.
Matt drove us to Outpost Winery which is a long drive up Angwin from Napa.
Outpost was fabulous! After Outpost we went to Artesa in the Carneros Region of Napa Valley. Very nice winery as well. These two wineries were very far apart however I really wanted to go to both, thus the long ride in the limo.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Executive Charters and their very friendly staff. I would recommend them to my many friends and colleagues in the Napa Valley. I can’t speak for the other reviews on Unilocal however I’m a very satisfied customer and fan of this company.

This is not a legit company. Very flaky. So flaky in fact, they didn’t show up.
I purchased a «deal» on Amazon and had a tour scheduled for 11:00 on a Sunday. The driver calls at 10:30 and says he is still on 101 and just leaving Santa Rosa. We were being picked up in Benicia, almost an hour away. Ok, so he’s going to be an hour late, great, but not gonna ruin our day.
I had family in from out of State and thought a wine tour would be a great experience for them. So we are all sitting around, waiting… The driver calls around 11:30 and says he has a flat tire. He was so confused and discombobulated, I ALMOST felt sorry for him. So I think, ok, how long does it take to change a tire. He gave no explanation, I’m asking what he’s going to do? What’s going on. Finally he says he’s just not showing up. So I call the «office» phone, which isn’t really and office phone, it goes to some guy named Josh’s cell or home phone I’m sure. I leave a message of coarse because no one ever actually answers the phone. A little while later Josh calls back totally pretending like he doesn’t know whats going on, so I explain to him, he tells me he will call the driver to see what’s going on.
At this point, our day is ruined. Josh calls back telling me there are no other limos to send and would I like to reschedule. Um NO, I want my money back. All of it. Not only had I paid the Amazon fee, I had to pay a pick up fee and some other service fee. After arguing with my husband and I on the phone for almost a half hour, I hang up on the guy. He’s getting weird.
Funny thing is, we saw the broken down limo on the freeway later that day, not with a flat tire! But the hood of the car was up, so they must have had some kind of engine problem.
The next day I call Amazon, report the company and get my money back.
As far as being reimbursed from the company. It still hasn’t happened. My calls don’t get returned, my letters don’t get answered and my emails are ignored. I don’t have the time or energy to sue these people.
On the bright side, at least the limo didn’t break down with me and my family in it!

Executive Charters is as good as it gets! Their customer service standards are high and consistent. I work with them on a professional basis: the winery I manage, they visit frequently and they always bring in guests that are prepped about our property and are excited to visit. The drivers are all knowledgeable and professional. They introduce their clients, welcome them to the venue and make sure they are all settled and in good hands before walking away. Executive Charters takes pride in their business and it shows each time they visit.
As a client, I have always been satisfied with their service, attentiveness and knowledge of the area. I would not recommend or use another company for travel services.

I don’t frequently write poor reviews… However, this company has shown me they do not care about customer service or good word of mouth.
I set up a van pick up a few months in advance — because of our tricky location, I said I would supply both directions for them to follow, as well as local phone numbers where we could be reached. I did as I promised, and a week or two before sent very specific instructions (GPS routes would lead the wrong way). I confirmed that we were all set for a 10am Saturday pick up.
10.15am on that Saturday rolls around, and there is no van, no call. I call the office. Josh tells me that the driver is running 15 minutes late and should be there shortly. I received no call about this. A half an hour or so later, I call again… the driver has apparently decided to put the address in his GPS rather than follow my instructions, and, as I had mentioned, the route was wrong. I was told to contact the driver directly and help give him directions. I do so… another half an hour or more after that, still no driver, still no call. I call Josh again and tell him he needs to figure this out, his driver is lost, more than an hour late, and I have 9 people waiting to get going to an event — an event to which was not at all inexpensive.
Some time later, I get a call that they can just refund our money and we can drive ourselves (!), or we could wait for another driver to get there.
Finally, over 2 hours later than our scheduled pick up time, a van shows up. We were able to salvage our day, but had to cut a lot of our plans and lost time and money on our tickets.
We were offered a 150 $ refund — about what the two hours would have been. They also offered us a voucher. We asked for further discounts because their error, and lack of following instructions, led 9 of us to lose more money… they said since we likely wouldn’t use them again why should they discount more. We tried to reach the «manager,» as well, and were given a run around
I am glad to see some people had a good experience with this group. It is quite unfortunate that there was no real attempt make-good…we travel to that area quite often and would have likely tried again if we felt we’d been listened to.

We recently rented a limo with Executive for the Passport Weekend and had a terrible experience. The car was scheduled to show up at 10am in order to give us plenty of time to enjoy the festivities (we paid over $ 100 for these tickets and wanted our full day). At 9:45am, I commented to my friend that I was surprised the car wasn’t there yet as they always seemed to show up early to make sure they were to the place on time.
10:30am…no word from the company. We call them and are informed our driver is running late as he had an SFO pick-​up which delayed him. What? You scheduled an SFO pick-​up and a Healdsburg pick-​up for the same driver on the same morning?
11:00am…car is still not there. We call the company and are informed the driver is lost. This is especially puzzling since our organizer had called at least two times to provide detailed instructions (since we knew the google maps didn’t work quite right).
11:30am…driver is still lost, at this point he has called us for directions, but can’t quite identify where he is located.
12pm…We call AGAIN. It has now been two hours past our pick-​up time. The dispatcher informs us that our driver has decided he can’t find the place and had quit trying. They tell us they are happy to cancel our car service and refund our money or move it to another day. We are stunned, our driver, get lost and quits trying to find us? Seriously? And your solution is that we can cancel all together? We insist that we need a car for that day since we have prepaid tickets and they finally get someone out to us.
The rest of the day was mostly smooth. At one point the driver had to leave us at the winery longer than we would have liked as the van he had brought didn’t have enough fuel for the rest of our day, so he needed to run and refuel.
I would not recommend Executive Charters to any one. We used their service almost a month ago and I refrained from writing a review yet as I hoped the company would find a way to make it right. Instead they gave us the run around, avoided our calls and were outright rude.
DON’T USE THEM!
