Barrios Green Design

We acquired a vacant flag lot last year, and set about building a house that would reflect our life style, environs and the times. Our first search was for a young, talented architect who was as passionate about this project as we were, someone who would use this opportunity to showcase their creativity and design a truly unique home.
A google search for «young Bay Area architect» found Mariana. She listens. She reflects. And then she comes back with original, vibrant options. She interacts with her clients during the development process, and quickly sees their point of view. She understands our vision and desires for our living space and how it will be used. Mariana came through and delivered an innovative design that played to the best features of the lot, and met all of our objectives.
She can be firm and persuasive when that is needed, and she’s been right to be so.
It’s been a great experience working with her. The end product looks wonderful (alas! only on paper so far!!). Just as important — the process has been fun.
