We worked through our agent and they highly recommended Design Milagros for the staging of our condo. They did a fabulous job. Complete «wow» factor the moment you see the place both in person and in our marketing photos. I couldn’t believe the transformation! Our house was on the market for less than a week and we accepted an offer significantly above asking price. The DM team was professional and courteous, with an efficient move in and out with a very thorough clean-​up (just as we had left it for them) once we were near the final days of closing on escrow. Worth every single dollar in staging and the BEST investment we made, along with picking our listing agent and using her recommendation of Design Milagros. Additionally, they were most accommodating to our schedule as everything moved so quickly.

We used Design Milagros to prepare and stage a client’s 3 bedroom condo. They were responsible for refinishing the wood floors, painting the interior, touching up the exterior paint, deep cleaning, power washing and staging.
We gave them an impossibly short time-​frame, as we were in a big time crunch to get this property to the market. They accepted our challenge and performed beautifully. The floors looked better than they did when they were installed thanks to Lorraine’s recommendation to use a matte finish, the painting was completed with great care and precision, the staging was elegant, very high-​end and fit the property and the neighborhood completely. It was a dream working with the Design Milagros team. They were respectful, extremely responsive, they took excellent care of the property, and performed on time and on budget. We even threw them a couple of curveballs with some additional work requests mid-​project, but they gracefully handled them all.
It was SO nice to offload everything to their team. It saved me hours, days, and probably a week full of work for myself, and the property looked amazing. So amazing that we sold it for a fantastic price after just one Open House!

In 2012, my husband and I decided to down size and sell our family home of 30 years for a condo. Our realtor hired Lorraine to stage our home for a prompt sale. Lorraine did such a great job that our house sold in no time.
After seeing what a great job she did with our home we hired her to help us decorate our Condo Lorraine helped us with everything from furniture to our wall colors. We could not have been happier with Design Milagros. Lorraine and Eva were thorough, professional and always responsive to our questions. We met with Lorraine only once, but we immediately felt confident in her. We live out of state so we turned everything over to her. She had her crew paint the entire house, inside and out, replace light fixtures, redo the hard wood floors, repair windows, landscape the back yard and install flooring where needed. Her estimate was very detailed so we could pick and choose what we wanted. Her price to paint the outside of the house was about 30% less than we had paid several years ago, even with her service fee added. (Long story, but we had the absolute wrong color on it so it needed to be painted again.) We left it all in her hands — paint colors, fixtures, everything. She did a fabulous job — absolutely transformed the house — and our home sold in 2 weeks for over our asking price. We absolutely recommend her services.

We recently sold our large historic home in the Castro and used Design Milagros to stage it. Lorraine was incredibly easy to work with, efficient, professional and most importantly had a great sense of what was needed to transform our 4800 square foot house into an amazing showcase home. She was flexible about altering color themes in a few of the rooms we wanted to avoid painting, and for those that we did paint, her color choices were exactly what the house needed. Lorraine and her team were instrumental in a rapid and successful sale of our home.

Lorraine personally came to our home and gave us very valuable constructive criticism of the home. Staging is pricey, but a $ 5,000 investment with DM’s fabulous staging will become an added $ 100,000.00 to the profit from your home’s sale as was our case.
We had only a couple days to stage our 3000+ sq ft home before it went on the market, but in that time Lorraine was able to transform the home we wanted to sell into our dream home.
Although she suggested that we repaint our walls, we decided not to and Lorraine was able to select the perfect furniture to compliment each room’s original wall colors.
Everything from paintings, to mirrors, to flowers and books were well-​selected to enhance each room and bring out the sense of space and comfort.
If we happen to sell another home, we will most definitely come back to Design Milagros to handle our staging. To sum it up in three words: quick, efficient, impressive.

They went from contract signature to full speed in 48 hours, and had completely transformed and staged our 1200 sq ft house in less than 7 days. She has a great eye for style (we constantly joked that very fancy people had moved into our house), and her team executed flawlessly.

I interviewed several teams to stage my 3500 sq foot Victorian home in Pacific Heights, which we had lived in for almost 20 years. I can’t say enough how grateful I am to have chosen them.
