, Named after the owner’s 3 daughters, JMK Shutters is a family-​owned business that offers and installs custom plantation shutters throughout the entire bay area. With over 17 ¹⁄₂ years of experience, our company is known for its extensive skill-​set and extreme attention to detail. Our dedication to maintaining the highest standards in excellence has earned us a honorable reputation and the prestigious Diamond Certified Award. We’re also very competitively priced!

As the State of California requires, we hold an active license (CSLB #976 634), contractor’s bond (100 203 290), and is fully insured. We have also been criminally background checked by the State Board.

Beware of Unlicensed contractors. The State will not be able to protect you from any work performed by an unlicensed business if you were to have a problem. Only licensed contractors can hold a Bond. Dept of Consumer Affairs uses the Bond to refund you shall you have a major issue that won’t be resolve. Always Ask.

Second generation window covering contractor. I grew up always being around window coverings. From my father running a drapery workroom in his garage to my uncles owning the largest commercial drapery fabrication business in the bay area, you could say that window coverings runs in my blood. After graduating with honors in high school and studying finance at Santa Clara University, I decided to continue with the family tradition.

I began my business with offering all types of window coverings but naturally progressed to just Plantation Shutters. There is a huge learning curve that comes with properly installing shutters and only if you dedicate 100% of your time can you truly master the art. Now in my 12^th year of just providing my shutter skill, I can truly say I mastered it. After all, shutters only look good if they’re installed right!
