Meghan helped us pick a tile store and tile colors for a bathroom remodel. We ended up replacing an old fiberglass tub/​surround with a shower and it turned out fantastic. The colors look amazing and we couldn’t be happier! Highly recommended!

Every time I walk into my kitchen I thank my lucky stars for Meghan! For months and months I had agonized about selecting materials for my small kitchen reno (coutnertops, backsplash tile, and white paint for cabinets) and learned about Meghan from a friend at work who had recently worked with her on their kitchen project (see review from Nancy S.) After seeing how well their kitchen turned out, I called to schedule an appointment — and boy I am glad I did. Meghan took one look at the options I had selected (again, after numerous hours of researching /​shopping) and politely said «these are not going to work.» She then explained why and went online to help point me in the right direction and I must say, she was right on target. Just from being online, she selected a perfect alternative for the countertop and from there gave me direction to select the tile for the backsplash. My first choice for the backsplash was a bit too modern for my cabinets. Her preference was the hex that I ended up using and again, I am glad I did. I absolutely love it.
While at my house Meghan also provided guidance for an accent chair in addition to material to recover my dining room chairs as I was having trouble making a decision on color. After working with Meghan on the kitchen my new rule of thumb is not to stray from the Meghan plan. She literally prevented me from making a very costly mistake. Like I said in the beginning of this review, every time I walk into my kitchen I thank my lucky stars for Meghan.
I should also note that she was also great about working within my budget. Matter of fact, the countertop selection she made was $ 550 less than the option I was going to use.

We worked with Meghan during our basement remodel which included a bathroom, bedroom, family room and office. She was incredibly responsive throughout the process. What really stuck out to me was that she was very conscious of staying within our budget unlike other designers. When it came to decorating she not only listened to our preferences but she also suggested unique items that we never would have thought of. Those are now my favorite pieces. I’d recommend her to anyone.

Meghan is AMAZING! My business was in so need of TLC and she seriously rescued me. I just couldn’t make a smart decision about interior color and organization on my own. The best money I have ever spent. Really. All of my clientele walk through the door and are amazed with the results. My goal was achieved. I feel pleased every time I come to work. Oh. Meghan recently helped us pick the paint color and wallpaper for our master bedroom. She definitely understands color! We are so happy with both the paint and the wallpaper, it just looks beautiful. She did a great job with the installation too. Every time I walk in my bedroom now, I feel calm and relaxed. Thanks Meghan!

Meghan is THE BEST. We just completed a kitchen remodel and agonized over every detail trying to do it on our own. We called in Meghan for reinforcement. Best decision we ever made. At such a reasonable price, you really can’t beat her expert opinion. And she’s a cool chick too! She knows what’s up. She encouraged us to use a beautiful backsplash that we were on the fence about and chose a warm and relaxing paint color to use in the kitchen and the adjacent family room. We are over the moon!!!

This review is long overdue. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Meghan a month ago. First of all, we had contacted her on a Friday and luckily able to have a consultation with her that Sunday! At the time we were in the process of purchasing our home which we will be doing a complete renovation and needed to make some quick decisions on design. She was very insightful and provided us some great ideas that really helped us move forward and finalize our design plans with the contractor. At the end she was also able to give us recommendations on color choices for the outside of our home. We just purchased our home and will definitely be using her again to finalize some important details. I can’t thank you enough.

We had a great consultation with Meghan. In less than 2 hours we chose a palette of 5 colors for our house, taking into account our tastes, the architecture, and the outside environment. We will definitely contact her in the future when we are ready to paint the exterior. She has a keen eye, a background in the arts, and was flexible in when she could meet with us. Highly recommended.

Meghan was easy to work with and worked effortlessly with our varying preferences, furniture and accent pieces. She took time to dive into details when we had questions and knew when to let us talk aloud and decide on our color preferences. She also was fun to talk to and did not rush us through the process. Unlike other color consultants, she was available for a consultation in short notice. I would definitely recommend her for your color consultation!

Meghan is fantastic! My only wish is that we had called her earlier! She helped us come up with a palette of about 6 different colors for our townhouse. She takes into account several different factors we had never considered, such as the exterior colors and landscape around your house, your personality, and your skin color (of course you don’t want to look sallow when you look in your bathroom mirror). She also made sure the colors flowed together from room to room. Since we already had a general idea of what we wanted, it only took us an hour and a half to come up with the palette. Meghan’s prices are very reasonable. She also said we could always call her again if we needed any follow-​up. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any color consultation!

Meghan did a great job for our kitchen in our humble craftsman. The floor came out wonderful and it gives our kitchen a grand look. She’s the real deal with a great style.

I hired Meghan as a color consultant and painter when I moved my office last fall. I had been in the same office for 6 years, and was ready for updated colors and design in my new space! A friend of mine recommended chatting with Meghan, so I invited her to the office to do so. She offered a complimentary consultation to get a feel for what I was looking for, which was really awesome, as I wasn’t really sure I wanted to commit to working with a specialist! But after speaking with her, I knew for sure that I did! She came with me to check out the new space, and helped me pick out colors that worked well with the layout and architecture, and helped create a warm yet calm environment. She advised what brand of paint to use, and gave tips for application. She knew that I was budget-​conscious, so she supported me in choosing to do the painting myself, just coming in for a few hours to do the finish work. I felt very supported and respected throughout the entire process, and have been absolutely thrilled with the results! So many people have offered positive feedback on the new colors/​design, and everyone has been really happy with the move. I’m so appreciative of Meghan’s skill and expertise, as well as her happy, laid-​back yet professional demeanor. She’s truly a pleasure to work with, and I will certainly utilize her services in the future, and wholeheartedly recommend her to others!

I hired Meghan to install bamboo floors in two rooms in my condo and I cannot be happier with the results. I am overjoyed at how good it looks and Meghan could not have made the overall process more positive. From helping me to pick out the bamboo, from ripping out the carpets and hauling them down to the garage, to installing the flooring, to the cleanup afterwards, her workmanship and communication skills were impeccable. In terms of doing the work, she was knowledgeable, practical, speedy, and always tidy, and in terms of being a good businessperson, she was carefully communicative, responsive, and totally pleasant and fun. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Meghan has a gift! After three years of different color patches around the walls, and only three rooms painted, I finally decided to ask for help. I emailed Meghan and she replied that very day. I eventually heard from the other two designers that I reached out to three and four days later. By then, the appointment was made with Meghan. She arrived right on time and asked to walk around the home listening to my plans for each room. Then we got down to business. She started to pull colors out of her color bag and created a color palette for the rest of the major rooms. She even provided a recommendation for a painter and a cabinet person (for a future project). I found Meghan extremely easy to work with and has a talent for design and colors. In one hour she was able to create a palette that would have taken much longer with many more stops to the paint store. I will use Meghan when we are ready to redo the guest bathroom. I highly recommend Meghan!

My wife and I moved into our flat in July and hired Meghan to help us out with choosing colors for our new space. After our initial consultation, we decided to ask for help in choosing furniture, curtains, and lighting options as well. Our old furniture was just not fitting into the layout of our new home, and we were ready for a change. We couldn’t be happier with the end result: our new space is beautiful, comfortable, and well organized, and that makes for a happy home. The process was much easier than I had expected and fit well within our budget. Thank you Meghan!!!

Meghan spearheaded the redo of our only bathroom. It was small, 8×6 ft, with a crooked window, super ugly tile, and a very cramped feel. However, we couldn’t knock down the bathroom walls because of pre-​existing limitations like nearby windows.
Meghan’s ideas included retiling, new fixtures, new paint, and new lighting. She knocked down one false wall and turned it into a half wall. She flipped one door so that it opened outward instead of into the bathroom. She hired a well known tiling subcontractor to do the bright white subway tile with dark grout, which can be very challenging, but turned out beautifully. She helped us with the color selection in all components, which could have been very painful, but was actually easy (she narrowed it down to two choices).
The change is astonishing. It really looks like a completely different room. It’s open, clean-​looking, well-​lit, beautiful, with straight lines everywhere and a very classic appearance. I really could spend hours in there.
Since having her work on our bathroom, I’ve also had her do lots of other projects around the house, including transforming a useless broken ironing cabinet into a cool spice rack with an international orange interior that always dazzles visitors.
I picked Meghan out of many other designers because of her responsiveness (she responded to my inquiry within a couple of hours, as opposed to others who took days to respond), her smarts, her conscientiousness, her talent, and her winning personality. I recommend her highly and will definitely be working with her again.

I just used Meghan to pick colors. We stayed with the coors I’d alrady chosen but refined the tones. She not only understands color in great detail, she seems to understand the people part of the equation. She was a pleasure to work with.

Meghan is a master with color and design. My kitchen looked like a postage stamp sized HELL! Really, it was utterly hellacious and completely unfit for a professional cook, no less. This scene did not deter her. She worked steadily and meticulously to turn my hellhole into heaven. She re-​did the floors, painted, changed the light fixtures and helped me de-​clutter. Now our kitchen is our favorite and most beautiful room in the house. As an added bonus she is a hoot to work with! She will coax the beauty out of any visually challenged spaces that you present to her with grace and style.

Meghan has an uncanny sense of color and design. My girlfriend and I had been discussing what color to paint the interior walls for years, never coming to an agreement, and in a single evening Meghan was able to help us pick out colors we could agree on, but which we never would have considered on our own.
Now that the walls are painted, I couldn’t be happier. She was professional, efficient and conscientious, and our house now really feels like our home.
