Business Owner

Vanessa Rivers has over 15 years experience teaching surf, ski and snowboard lessons. She began teaching surfing while attending college at UCSB. After graduation she started her private lesson company offering beginning & intermediate surf lessons to adults and children of all ages year-​round in Santa Barbara & Malibu. Vanessa has also worked as a private ski & snowboard instructor at resorts such as Northstar at Lake Tahoe and Big Bear Mountain in Big Bear Lake, CA. When Vanessa isn’t teaching she can be found designing for her eco-​friendly swimwear line & writing about her adventures on her travel blog Glitter&Mud.
