I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Surf Happens yet! I’ve been involved with them since my kids were quite young. All three of my sons have gone to their camps and learned how to surf there for life! My oldest continues with them to this day, going with the weekday after school program, for more serious surfers. I myself have gone through a few private lessons with Chris Keet and he has helped me understand what I need to do to get the most out of my surfing. Surfing adds so much to anyone’s life– young or old. The Surf Happens public events bring the whole local community together and there is nothing like it.
Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Unsere Kinder haben als «Surfeinsteiger» eine großartige Woche im «Surf happens summer Camp» verbracht.
Die Stimmung unter Kindern und Surflehrern war absolut außergewöhnlich.
Die Lehrer verstehen sich fantastisch darauf die Kinder zu motivieren und mit ihrer Begeisterung anzustecken.
Die mit viel Witz und Liebe organisierte Abschlusscompetition und das Grillfest waren das krönende Ende einer — für unsere Kinder — sicherlich unvergesslichen Woche.

Surf Happens is the best surf camp out there. Our kids (7 &8) are on their third year and love it more every time. Chris is organized, calming, caring and a highly skilled and respected surfer. He has fantastic counselors out there with him that inspire the kids to be their best. The kids not only learn surf skills but also respect for the ocean, beach, «trains» and, best of all, each other. I can’t say enough good things about this camp. Sign up! and get the photos they offer as well. Branden is excellent and offers photo memories you won’t get anywhere else.
