History

Established in 2013.

The mission of Alston face & body has always been to provide practical skin care founded in validated science, empower clients through education and to promote over all well-​being through massage and special touches. We started with one room in a salon the Mesa, but our client base grew quickly. In October 2014, we partnered with the prestigious Walter Claudio Salon in downtown Santa Barbara. We now have multiple treatment rooms and a dedicated Wax Studio, all decorated with a welcoming, urban vibe and soothing ocean colors. Meet the Business Owner

Wendy H.

Business Owner

Wendy has worked in the healthcare and aesthetic industries for over 10 years. After graduating from the University of Colorado, she worked in the corporate training field. She eventually moved into territory management for a large pharmaceutical company, working across multiple specialties; including diabetes, insomnia, gastroenterology and cardiovascular disease. With a long-​standing passion for skin health, Wendy transferred her appetite for scientific knowledge into the aesthetic industry and moved into education for a leading cosmeceutical line. Working with plastic surgeons and dermatologists she provided education on ingredient and product technology to help practices develop a professional product offering that better suited their patients’ needs. She opened Alston face & body with the vision of combining corrective, affordable skin care with the luxury of spa amenities. Wendy continually attends classes to make sure she is bringing the latest advances to the practice.
