I’ve been coming to this establishment on and off for over 10 years for my eye glass needs, the staff and I all have a wonderful rapport. Thay make sure I always leave with nothing but a satisfactory experience.

Ordered a very nice pair of glasses there. At the moment they told me I’d receive my glasses within a week. Nope! Not only I did not get my glasses that week nor did they inform me about the delay. I called 2 weeks after, a staff told me they should arrive in 2 days. Nope! And they didn’t call me again about the false information they gave me. Finally the glasses arrived 3 weeks later. They apologized and told me there was a miscommunication in the whole process. They were being nice about it and gave me some little gifts.
I mean I like the glasses. But I definitely had better service than that. For the amount of money I paid for the glasses I deserve a good service.

I took my bent designer brand sunglasses in to see if they could help. Michaels did a fantastic job and they are like new! Here’s the best part… they did it free of charge despite the fact that I bought them elsewhere. I highly recommend Michael’s for their excellent customer service.

I popped into Michael’s Optical looking for my first pair of glasses. I wasn’t looking for a fancy designer pair, just something cheap that I won’t have to worry about. I wasn’t expecting to buy there, but they informed me that they have a promo for a few of their cheaper lines of frames. My glasses ended up being cheaper than they would have been at Costco and I have returned several times since to tweak the fit. They are happy to see me every time and eager to help. Rarely does one get student affordable prices bundled with great service. I started a Unilocal account to write this review, I’m that pleased.

Friendly and very helpful. They are a bit pricey b/​c of great downtown location, I think overhead is a bit high. I had to take my glasses in to get a screw that I had lost. Not only did they fix it right then, but they gave me a free thing of lens cleaner. Great customer service.

The San Luis Obispo store is great… very helpful and friendly. Patricia will go beyond the call of duty. They get 5 stars. But the Atascadero location staff is not very friendly or helpful. Even though I live in Atascadero I will not go back to Atascadero location… I was uncomfortable.

Bought a Prada frame which after several attempts to install lens are still not fitting right. At the time I brought the Prada frames I had them change the tint on my Armani Sunglass flames… THEY BROKE THEM!.. and replaced the ear pieces with a generic ilfitting part… I asked for them to replace the frames or at the least replace them at cost… They refused… I am thinking about contacting a lawyer… DON’T PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

I highly recommend Michael’s Optical. They were more than helpful & patient when I was picking out my frames. A few months after I purchased my glasses they were having difficulty with my insurance going through. When they called, they reassured me that they were taking care of it but had just wanted to make me aware of the situation in case I had gotten anything in the mail from my insurance regarding it. I was so surprised. Most experiences I’ve had like that usually send me on a wild goose chase to fix it myself. I was very very impressed with the courtesy Michael’s Optical extended– They took care of everything for me & it made my experience easy & painless! Their customer service is an A++. They also have quality, beautiful frames.
