Study Wizards was founded by educators with a unique approach, including providing each student with a customized Study Wizards Learning-​for-​Success Plan designed to help students build good study habits and develop tools to excel academically.

Our team of experts differentiates Study Wizards. Michael Goldstein, a former teacher, is the Academic Director of the program and works closely with parents and students to ensure student success. Dr. Rosalie Toren, our educational and clinical psychologist, offers assessments, therapy, and advocacy. Ms. Sheila Rosenberg, our educational consultant, can provide further input and support for your student.

My son was earning B– in Chemistry and B– Geometry. He had no experience in either subject. Study Wizards’ amazing tutor REEMA, worked to reinforce and reteach key components of these subjects and helped him prepare for exams. His grades and confidence went up in both subjects. He also learned how to study more intensely. This year he got tutoring only as a brush-​up here and there. Amazingly, he earned straight A’s (A, A, A, A, A, A+) this year in all subjects, his junior year at Bellarmine. He agrees that the tutoring changed his mindset, his habits and his understanding of what it means to study. THANK YOU!
My daughter was overwhelmed and losing ground with her Spanish grade fast. Thank goodness for an incredible tutor named ERIKA. My daughter actually requests tutoring now, which is a first for her. Erika is kind and organized and understands exactly how language is acquired. My daughter finished her year with a solid B in the class and will continue summer tutoring to prepare her for next year. We appreciate you.

Study Wizards was very easy to work with. They were flexible with scheduling and always very professional. Corina did an excellent job helping my daughter get caught up with Math. I give Study Wizrds Inc a 5 star rating. Not only in the tutors that they have provided for my daughter over the past four months, but their excellent customer service skills in making sure the parent is happy.
Reema was my daughter’s first tutor for Math, and she was able to connect with my daughter and get through to her during a difficult time in school. On top of being knowledgable in the topics, she also was able to make my daughter build some confidence and connect on a level for her to finally bring her grades up.
The next tutor we got due to us moving to another location was Ying. Ying has been also agood match for my daughter, and even assigns her homework so she thoroughly understands her assignments, and can pull through during the week. She too has made my daughter smile, and build that confidence she so desperately has needed.
Michael, the Director of Study Wizards, is truly an exceptional gentleman, and did everything to be fully aware of my daughter’s needs. He even requested school documents about her to know what her issues were, and went above and beyond for me to find two great tutors. I highly recommend this organization to any partent seeking excpetional tutoring services along with great care from the staff.

Erika was spectacular tutoring me in Critical Reading/​Writing. My failing grade in AP Literature went skyrocketing. Her talents and knowledge in the subject have gave me confidence n my ability to comprehend and write. Especially with poem/​novels that are hard to digest, she was able to give strategies and techniques that made me more successful in the class! It was all well worth it.

I found Study Wizards on Unilocal after my daughter received a surprise math grade last year. Not only did I want to get her grade back to a good place I also wanted to ensure that her confidence remained intact for the longer term.
Study Wizards does not have their own location but rather Michael acts like a broker who connects you to a tutor who not only fits your kid but meets your academic needs and that tutor will come to your home. That was a huge convenience.
Michael connected us to Jenny who is a fantastic woman and teacher – a really positive math role model for our daughter. She’s approachable, fun, and non-​judgemental. With her weekly visits we got the grades and kept her through this school year as well to maintain a steady state as things became more challenging. Now, a full year out our daughter has a solid A (from the surprise C+ one year ago) with no reservations from her teacher.
We’ll keep Jenny as long as we can. Her support has absolutely been the reason behind our successful turn-​around and our daughter’s continued confidence in math.

Rosalie Toren, besides working for Study Wizards, offer psychological testing services. I used her in that capacity. She was absolutely spectacular. The amount of insight into my situation, personality, and history that she got from just one session (plus, some conversations with her former supervisee who is my therapist; plus, the results of the battery of tests, of course) simply floored me. I really wish I had met Rosalie years ago!
She is also charming, inviting, and intuitive.
And, the pricing structure is simply unbeatable for the Bay Area.
I cannot recommend her enough!

I used Study Wizards for my daughter during 7th and 8th grade for Algebra. She just graduated with High Honors and an «A» in math. My daughter was a fairly good math student who usually got a B+ or A-​. She changed schools in 7th grade and was really struggling. I first called Kumon in Burlingame and they never returned my call. I found Study Wizards on the internet and gave them a call. The first tutor we had was competent but not a good match for my daughter. Michael (the director), quickly found a new tutor who was a phenomenal match for my daughter. She helped get the grades up from C/​D to A/​A-​. She was flexible regarding my daughter’s extra-​curricular activities and was such a positive influence. I would not hesitate contacting them for future tutoring needs.
