Kristine is AMAZING!!! I can’t even start with how much of a pleasure it was working with her for our wedding in August. My husband and I were having a hard time locking down our wedding planner and we just were feeling a little lost. Then we met Kristine — and it was all better! Kristine was SO accommodating — she lives in the San Jose area and came to San Francisco to meet us with a beautiful sample arrangement. The minute we sat down and started talking about our vision, Kristine and I were immediately on the same page.
Throughout the wedding planning process, Kristine’s communication skills were perfect. We had a constant back and forth dialogue about flowers, colors, ribbons, ideas — I went to her for opinions about almost everything for the wedding. Kristine is just so creative and knows how to put together flowers and a vision in a way that is organic and fresh. You won’t get gerber daisies and carnations with Kristine, you will get class and beautiful flower ideas (however Kristine is super cost conscious and always gives you choices!!). There were a lot of times where I left the decision up to Kristine because I trusted her that much!
Fast forward to our wedding day — a 95 degree day in Livermore, CA. It was HOT! However, Kristine’s flowers were PERFECT until the end of the evening (and even the next day — the resort used the flowers to decorate!!). Kristine was there most of the day to make sure everything looked perfect and to check in with me to make sure I loved everything about my bouquet, the boutineers, all of the arrangements). Her arrangements were creative, the flowers were beautiful and you could see the love and attention she puts into her work. Our tables looked phenomenal, my bouquet was out of this world. It was still 80*+ at 9pm and I was amazed by how perfect a single café au lait dahlia looked next to our cake.
I can’t just say enough about how amazing it was to work with Kristine and how talented she is. I’m so sad the wedding is over because I don’t get to work with her — she was that awesome!
PS — Kristine and her husband recommended we go to Corsica in France for our honeymoon. We took their recommendation and it was our favorite stop on our honeymoon. THANK YOU!!!

My now-​husband and I were just married this weekend, and Kristine at Sickle & Seed was SUCH a pleasure to work with. After meeting with another florist and deciding they were not what we were seeking, I found Kristine, and shared my vision with her. She showed genuine excitement about my ideas, which to me, was paramount. She also worked within our budget and was so flexible and accommodating! After deciding to hire Kristine to do the floral design, for our wedding, she asked if she could come to our reception venue (Fortino Winery in Gilroy) to get a feel for things! She gave us ideas on how to decorate the wine barrels at the entry, which was something I hadn’t even thought to do. She would send me pictures of items/​décor as we approached our wedding date (i.e. vases, lanterns, etc.), and I was always able to quickly get in touch with her via text or email. I HIGHLY recommend Kristine for your floral design needs. As a bride, it is so important to have someone that you can rely on and who is truly invested in fulfilling all of your wedding wishes. Kristine only takes on a certain number of weddings per month so that she can really focus on each client. I received so many compliments on the flowers! They looked beautiful!!!

My husband proposed on Valentines day and we both agreed we wanted to get married before the year ended. We decided on July 26^th which gave us 3 months to prepare a wedding. My girlfriend was also getting married the following month and she had been engaged a lot longer. Giving her plenty of time to do her research. I was taking all her research including flower vendor and food to try to put something together. The only problem she was located in a different city and I wanted a local vendor I can work with without the stress of having to drive hours to make simple decisions. The thought added so much stress. With so much going on and one sleepless night I logged into instagram, hashtagged Los Gatos flowers and I saw the most beautiful flower arrangements. The photos were stunning, a Martha Stewart quality photo shoot. I had researched local Los Gatos area florist but nothing stood out. I called her the following day. From the moment I met her I knew I wanted to work with her. The quality of work she did exceeded my expectations. I had no doubt that our back yard reception would look exquisite. Her personality made the experience that much more pleasant. She is calm and collective. She shared ideas that I implemented. Two weeks before my wedding I told her I wish she was also my wedding planner. She is quick, fast thinker and has the qualities you need when under stress. My flower arrangement included; David Austin roses, Succulents, Kale, Sherbert Ranunculus, Billy Ball, ladies Mantle to name a few. The 40+ centerpieces, buffet arrangements, vintage boxes complimented the crystal chandelier hanging above the tables. Quality work, unique arrangements. Highly recommend Sickle & Seed. I received an arrangement for Mother’s Day from my daughter and son in law… it is gorgeous, and unique. Kristine (I hope I have your name correct) is adorable, she said she has only been in business 40 days. Everyone is the office was so impressed with the flowers that TRULY this is not an exaggeration… had to take a picture and wrote her name down so they can use her in the future! She adds such unique flowers, very vintage looking! If I can figure out how to upload I will otherwise, I’ll add to Sickle & Seed Facebook page. Order, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

I just ordered Le Petit arrangement for my mother-​in-​law as an early Mother’s Day gift and she absolutely loved it! I stopped by her house to see it and it was just beautiful. Kristine is so nice and easy to work with. The flowers are not the typical ones you see in traditional arrangements, but were unique, with different colors and textures. I will definitely be ordering from Sickle and Seed again!

These are not your grandmother’s flowers!!! Kristine does the most amazing arrangements — they are fresh and modern and I love that she’s a local mom like me too. I ordered an arrangement for someone as a thank you and they were blown away! Thank you Kristine! I will be back to order more!

Farmchick only uses fresh flowers from local farms, not imported. I highly recommend Farmchick Flowers, I have never been so happy with a florist before. The flower arrangement I sent to a family member turned out to be beyond beautiful, Kristine is truly is an artist. The price was reasonable with no delivery charge. Kristine was pleasant and thanked me for my business. This new business is the best kept secret in San Jose!

This is a great new business in San Jose! I purchased a 3 month subscription, and my flowers arrived on time — GORGEOUS! Love the rustic box they came in — can’t wait for my next month’s delivery. Love fresh flowers in my home — and love that I can support a local business, farmers, and not have to worry about all the crap they typically spray flowers with. The owner is super sweet, and responsive. Highly recommend!
