My name is John Lita owner of Genoa Soapstone Marble & Granite. I have been in the stone industry for a little over a decade. Working along side California’s finest countertop companies I have acquired great knowledge along with exceptional skills and quality craftsmanship. Hello and thank you for choosing Genoa Soapstone, my name is John Lita. Growing up in a hardworking family of Entrepreneurs, I was exposed to General Labor at an early age. Working along side my Father in construction I quickly gained a great amount of knowledge and skills. Then moving on to focus the next 10 years in the countertop industry. I also volunteered at a local fire department on the weekends. Taking Night classes during the week after work, soon I became a full time Firefighter with Calfire. Fighting fires during the week and fabricating countertops on my days off. I then decided to leave CalfireI to fufill my dream of opening my own company where I can focus all my talents on serving my clients with exceptional stone service.
