I called Chris last summer when my AC broke down. It was one of those 90+ degree days and my house was unbearable w/​o AC. Chris was able to get one of his guys out the following morning and within 30 minutes, the AC was back up and running again. Fast forward to this week, my heater wasn’t starting. Left Chris a voicemail and he got back to me within an hour. Turned out to be a simple fix and Chris was able to walk me through it over the phone at no charge. Now that’s what I call great service. If you’re looking for an honest HVAC company, look no further than Saturn Air Heating & Cooling. Chris really seems to care about his profession and his customers!

I’ve left a voicemail to Chris and he called back few hours later. Able to set up an appointment on the very same night. Gerardo showed up around 7pm. He is honest, hardworking, able to identify 2 issues of my furnace and fixed it on the spot! My furnace stopped blowing cold air… The price is quite reasonable. I recommends Saturn!

Chris came through with flying colors. He went far beyond the call of duty and saved my family from many uncomfortable cold evenings. My home insurance company originally sent in AAA furnace and air to take look at my problem and in less than 15 minutes determined it was a door switch and proceeded to place electrical tape over it and left us with a working heater that lasted a few hours and then it went completely out. All companies being booked because of the temperature drops all over. The earliest appointment was for the 28^th of December or after the first of the year. Out of desperation I called Saturn Air and Chris saved the day. Chris was professional and fair.

The Problem
With a house full of guests our furnace stopped heating and the house seemed to be about 40 degrees (it was warmer outside). I called my home warranty, but the earliest appointment times were 3 days out.
The Solution
I called Saturn Air Heating & Cooling. Chris returned my call right away and he was able to come out the same day (actually within the hour). Chris saved the day and the house and guests are warm again!

You will find promptness, hardworking-​honesty, and generosity with this company. I was visiting my aunt in Cupertino, and her furnace went out AGAIN. She bought this furnace three years ago, and the company that installed it came those three times and charged her when the work should have been under warranty. Now, because it was the day after CHRISTMAS, no one was available. Saturn Air was available. Chris came in thirty minutes, and when he saw what the problem was, honestly told us that it was the floater in the pump, and not wiring that the previous company who installed the furnace, had lied and charged my aunt $ 589 for two visits.
When Chris heard of this «rip off,» he not only fixed the issue and informed us what was going wrong, he DIDN’T Charge my aunt a dime; he insisted on not accepting ANY money. My aunt insisted on paying him $ 20 and forced him to take it. Chris was a gem! Hire him and his company above anyone! Who would not charge a day after Christmas? It’s a Saturday, the day after Christmas, and he charged my aunt NOTHING. Wow. I wish I had this company in Los Angeles!!! Saturn Air Heating & Cooling is an extremely honest, and hard-​working company.

I truly wish I could give Saturn Air a higher rating. Chris and Geraldo are both very pleasant to deal with. Saturn Air was the sub contractor in a nightmare remodel. So part of the issue falls directly on the general contractor.
Saturn Air moved our furnace from the basement to the attic space. The contractor didn’t give them the entire job in order to save money. When the contractor walked away from the job (the nightmare) the furnace install wasn’t complete and was out of code. Repeated calls to Chris to finish got plenty of promises but very little in the way of actual work. Geraldo did come by to take care of a quick electrical issue and give us a ballpark estimate to complete. Since then there have been more than a few unreturned phone calls.
I suppose the stench of the contractor remains on the job and the Saturn Air team wants nothing more to do with this fiasco.

Chris and his partner are amazing! They’ve helped us multiple times this year from fixing some electrical replacing a sump for our AC to completely fixing some key components in our furnace without trying to get us to buy a new one. Their pricing is very reasonable and they know everything inside out. They’ve been able to come out on short notice and some of the most professional people we’ve had for repairs at our home. Our family recommended them as they installed an amazing AC unit and had helped them several times. It doesn’t get any better than Saturn!

Quick turnaround and great service!
Our Trane Central Heating unit stopped working over the weekend. Called many companies but lead times were from 4 days ~ 15 days.
Temperature got to the low 50’s inside my house. Hence, waiting a few days was not an option. That’s when I called Saturn Air Heating & Cooling.
On the same day I called, Chris Jochheim (Saturn owner) stopped by my house, ran some diagnostics and found an electrical board was out and needed replacement.
He ordered the part and next day he came back to installed it. Heating unit was up and running within 10 minutes.
I’m very pleased with the work Chris has done. Very professional and at a reasonable price.
From now on, I will be using Saturn Air for all my HAVC needs.

Quick turn around and an excellent job!
Within 30 minutes of our first call to Chris reporting that our furnace was not working, Geraldo was at our house diagnosing the problem. While he was here, we had him look at a different wall heater that had previously quit working. Geraldo had both the furnace and wall heater repaired and working again within 3 hours which included a trip to get replacement parts.

Saturday morning our furnace went out and we were freezing. I called Saturn Air and he returned my call immediately and was at our house with-​in 20 minutes. He had it repaired within a half an hour, with the parts needed in his truck. At no time did he try to sell us a new furnace. No extra charge for weekends either. It was great.

Chris fixed my thermostat problem over phone and text and didn’t charge me anything. It was amazing customer service.
I left a voicemail explaining that my Nest said it wasn’t getting power when I re-​installed it after some painting.
Chris called back and said I likely blew a fuse in the heater. He told me exactly where to find it. I took a photo of the panel and he texted me exactly which part it was. Went to the store, got the fuse, and boom it works.
No visit needed, not a dime charged. First class company.

Furnace got fixed! Called Chris at 5pm. He scheduled a 6pm appointment with Geraldo same day. Geraldo came on time. Fixed my furnace within 20min. Now my family is warm. Price is very reasonable. I thought I was going to spend a lot of money but it turns out that it was just a blown capacitor. These guys are honest! Awesome service!

It’s about 50ish degrees and my dad’s house is freezing cold. Heater is out and I called 6 heater/​HVAC businesses. No one answered instantly, but i did get 50% of them to call back. One said they’d come in a week and a half, the other in 2 days, and Saturn (Chris) sent Geraldo over in about 30 minutes. Great timing! They were friendly and fast and fixed my problem! I really can’t ask for more. Thanks guys!

Before calling Saturn Air I had another company come out to evaluate the problem I was having with my HVAC system. The tech was clueless about the problem and said that it would cost at least $ 1000 and could not guarantee that he could fix my problem. Fortunately that company completely dropped the ball and never returned.
I ended up calling Chris from Saturn Air. He was professional and promptly found the problem and had it fixed in no time and all at a fraction of the price the other company was going to charge.
It pays to hire a company that knows what they are doing.

Saturn Air
Our central air system started to fritz out during the heatwave. Not a good thing and I know less than zero about air conditioning systems. I talked to 5 A/​C contractors, got 5 different opinions on what I need and prices with a delta of $ 3K for the job.
The contractor I felt the best about was Saturn Air. Chris is a straight forward guy, a man of his word and his work is clean.
He said he’d arrive at 8am on Friday and sure enough that’s what time he arrived. My fear was he wouldn’t finish the job and we’d be without a/​c for the weekend. He said he’d be done by 2pm. By 2pm the job was finished, the new system (outdoor, furnance and condenser) was installed and the work areas were spotless.
You could not ask for any more from a contractor. Check his other reviews on Unilocal.I’m not the only one who sings his praises.

My furnace stopped working just as it got cold! After calling a few places, I was getting worried — they either didn’t do service calls at all anymore or weren’t available until 2 weeks out.
I’m happy Chris answered when I called. He offered me some free troubleshooting advice over the phone, and since he was in the area, he came straight over. Within 30 minutes of the phone call, my igniter was replaced and I had a warm house again.
I will definitely call Chris and Saturn in the future for my HVAC needs.

Chris and his work partner just install AC at my home and also replaced our 50 year old furnace. I had a GREAT experience with him and his team. His prices are extremely reasonable too… was actually $ 1k lower than the next lowest quote I found. They finished the two installs within 5 – 6 hours.

Chris helped us out with an AC unit that had a freon leak last September; he was able to diagnose the location and weld the pipe so we didn’t have to incur a bigger expense.
Our unit is busted again this summer and I haven’t been able to get a hold of Chris over the last two weeks (had left a message earlier) and this week the voice mail box is full. With the temperatures hovering in the 90s, I will have to find someone else!

Every day of spring I made a note to myself to have the a/​c serviced before summer and every day I put it off. Suddenly it’s June and 100 degrees and our a/​c is hardly working. Every a/​c company I call either doesn’t answer or has appointments two weeks out at least. I call Saturn at 4:15 without much hope and Chris was here by 5pm!
He took a look at our system and made some adjustments including a freon charge. He gave me some free advice for getting more use out of our ancient system, and then he gave me a terrific discount on the service call. He didn’t just do the work — he was pleasant, professional, and quick! I’m going to call him for all our a/​c and heating needs. THANK YOU, Chris!!! I’m writing this in a nice cool house now!

I was getting estimates to replace a furnace that was about 20-​ish years old. I had a couple other guys come out, the first telling me the furnace was so old they don’t make parts for it anymore (which he reiterated after «researching it» and calling me back a couple of days later). I had set up a couple other appointments, trying to keep them either later in the evening or early morning. Chris from Saturn came out on his way home to give me the estimate. He looked at the furnace, asked what was wrong and said he might be able to fix it. At that point I was confident, based on the other estimates, that any repairs would cost a lot and need further work very soon afterward.
Chris honored my request and finished his estimate but asked if I would mind if he just took a look at my problem. After a few minutes he said he was confident it was just the gas valve and could fix it for very little. He also said that the rest of the furnace looked pretty good and should last long enough to make the repair worthwhile, especially for the little that I actually use it. I agreed that sounded like a good plan and told him to do the work.
He had to get the part and a day later was back to do the work. Unfortunately, I misunderstood the day he promised to come back so I wasn’t home and so he called me while standing at my front door. He was very understanding, kindly said that wasn’t a problem and that he would come by again when I was available. A few days later, my furnace was fixed and I had saved thousands of dollars!
I really appreciated Chris’ honesty and eagerness to do what was right, even though it probably meant losing a big chunk of business. For that reason I will keep Saturn in my contact list for the next time I need any HVAC work.
