Where do I start. There truly is so many wonderful things to say about Mia, her work ethic & her teaching skills.
After I obtained my cosmo lisc. I found that I love the face & body aspect of it & have been increasing my knowledge in that area. After visiting the face & body show & watching the eyelash extension demos I decided I wanted to try this. I viewed many different class certification courses but decided on Minky’s. I am so happy that I did. The course is taught by a «LOCAL» Master Lash Artist that I can not stress enough about how important this is. Here are my top 5 reasons for stressing this.
1) If I have a question all I have to do is text Mia & yes even late @ night.
2) Mia invites you to come in anytime & watch her work to further enhance your knowledge & skill
3) Mentoring. Mia genuinely cares about your success & will be there cheering you on
4) Patience & kindness
5) knowledge & skill, which Mia has in abundance
Many of the other courses I found did not offer a local artist, it was at a hotel that an instructor came in to do & left, so if I have questions I suppose I would have to email the company & wait for a response (who has time for that!) It is not the same mentoring that I have received from Mia. You may think that you won’t have any questions after, etc. but you are wrong. The lash game has far more depth than what we initially think.
I have only been doing lashes part time since taking the course in February, but thanks to Mia & what she has taught me (quality work) the demand for my time has been such that I am now able to dedicate myself Full Time to doing what I love. Helping people look & feel beautiful. The eyes truly are the windows to the soul & watching that twinkle light up someone’s eyes when they see their lashes is an incredible feeling.
I am forever grateful that I chose Minky’s, which led me to an incredible teacher & mentor such as Mia.
You won’t regret your decision in becoming a certified lash artist w/​Mia as your mentor, if anything you will wonder why you waited so long.

Time and time again I have seen judys work and time and time again I have been so impressed. Her lashes are always on point. Aside from the beautiful lashes she does, she is just a nice, caring wonderful person. I love coming here because it’s so calming and relaxing especially knowing u will always be welcomed by the best people who do great quality work.

Sweet Mia and her amazing mom Judy are so warm, friendly, fun, professional, and talented, they definitely deserve this and the other glowing reviews their business has received. I am really happy to be supporting a (very) small local business in town and could not be more pleased with my new lash stylists. They are both very talented and Mia is a NATURAL at lashes!!! Their prices are very reasonable for the talent you’re receiving with their services and they are always taking classes and conferences to perfect their skills even more. They take pride in their work in making women feel beautiful and confident about their eyes and appearance and it shows! They are always offering water, food, and accommodate your schedule really professionally. They are very skilled and yes lash fills and full sets take time, you should know this before going in to any lash stylist. They are both very quick to respond and take a lot of pride in their business. I appreciate this because you don’t always find this in larger boutiques or commercial beauty salons. Bottom line, go see them if you want reliable, beautiful work on your lashes!

Mia and her mom Judy are absolutely the best! They do an unbelievably amazing job every time! I have been getting lash extensions for 4 years now and since moving to the bay area will only go to Mia and Judy! Not only are they exceptionally skilled in lash extensions but they also are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Their customer service is second to none, I am always treated with the utmost respect during and in between appointments. I cannot say enough nice things about them or the business. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone in a heartbeat !

I wish I could give Mia more than 5 stars!!! Mia is super friendly! I would recommend anyone to go to her for eyelash extensions! The lash artists at Mia’s Lash Lab are great and it gets better and better each visit as my eyelashes become fuller. The lash artist Mia, also owner of Mia’s Minks and trainer for Minky’s, takes the time to work one on one with her students. I got a synthetic refill with a lash tech, Judy, at Mia’s Lash Lab (she only charged $ 3 a day since my last fill ($ 65 + tax for a month fill) and she did an amazing job. I’m impressed with the service, and the price, and I will be referring a lot of friends.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I have been coming to Mia’s Minks for awhile now and I LOVE IT! I originally started putting on lashes in LA but then found Mia’s Minks and never had to go back! Mia always does the lashes so on point. I am very picky when it comes to my lashes so I had to make sure I found the right person and I was lucky enough to have found Mia. I have told so many of my friends about her and they were all satisfied as well. She listens to how I want the lashes done and always takes her time when she does them. I like that she actually cares about the outcome of the lashes instead of just doing a quick job to get it over with. Her place is clean, which was very important for me. I always get compliments on my lashes which is so reassuring. People are constantly asking me if my lashes are real and then proceed to ask where I get them done. Her mom also works there and is great! The both of them always go out of their way to make sure the customers are satisfied. I love that her lashes last a long time and that I get ready so fast now. You will not be disappointed with Mia’s work! I would definitely recommend this place!

after contemplating lash extensions i finally went and wow I was very impressed I totally love judy and her awesome dedication at what she does. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to getting lashified and beautified.

I’ve never considered having lash enhancements because I always thought it would be costly and time consuming. Finally after looking through Unilocal,I came across MM enhancement studios and read all the great reviews and especially noticed Naomi was mentioned quite a bit. I made an appointment and I must say I was very pleased with the venue. it was clean, welcoming and very well organized. The staff were sweet and treated you like family. I had my lashes done by Naomi and I LOVE them! So naturally wispy and we both decided to call my preferred look, the «Kim Kardashian.» Im sure that paints a great picture for how my lashes turned out! Did I mention I LOVE them?!
Naomi is highly skilled, professional and most of all has wonderful customer service. If you ever get the courage to try minks, don’t try with anyone else. She will take care of you and make sure you leave a happy customer!

I had the pleasure of getting my lashes done by Naomi and she did an AMAZING job! She was super friendly and very professional. She listened to how I desired my lashes (because I’m very picky) and she delivered! This was my first time here but it won’t be my last. I have always wanted to lengthen and thicken my lashes with lash extensions but was unsure about the process. After my consultation with Naomi, she assured me that my lashes would look naturally thick and long due to her application process by placing 1 – 2 extensions per natural lash. Before our session she made me feel relaxed, asked what type of music I wanted to listen to, offered me water, made sure I was comfortable, and even gave me a temple massage before she started! After my session with her I couldn’t be happier! Her attention to detail was impeccable! Opening my eyes to see long, think, and natural looking lashes made me feel like I didn’t need make-​up anymore. I even lost track of my favorite mascara! I keep getting complements from co-​workers admiring my lashes and thinking they’re real. Sometimes I even forget that I have them on because of how light weight they feel on my eyelids. My lash extensions are soft and very comfortable to wear. I recommend Naomi to anyone who not only wants quality natural looking lashes but a relaxing appointment experience as well.

I’ve always wanted to get extentions and finally did it and it was a great experience!!! I was greeted and taken good care of by Naomi. She is nice and takes good care of her clients and also provides temple massages. Naomi is very caring to her clients and caters to there needs throughout the session aside from the massage she provides pillows for your head and legs, water, and music of your choice. I had such a great experience I went back to see Naomi for a fill in. I highly recommend asking for Naomi if you want the ultimate mink experience :)

I have always been somewhat happy with my lashes; they’re not sparse, but I do not have them in overabundance either. Nes recommended that I could make my lashes stand out and yet maintain a natural look. Now, I have seen quite a few ladies with those artificial lashes (the ones you can definitely tell are fake), and I just would not pick that look for myself. But curiosity got the better of me. I wanted to see for myself whether, as Nes had mentioned, there truly was a way to get the au naturale look for your lashes.
It was true! I loved it so much that I became a return client! Nes pays such great attention to detail to every single lash. I really appreciated the fact that she took great care of me and was really gentle around my eyes, so gentle that I actually fell asleep on her table while she was working! My lashes lasted for 3 – 4 weeks after each application and I was extremely happy with them. Not to mention, the types of compliments I received were always, «I love your lashes» and «You have such pretty eyes.» Never did anyone say, «I love what you’ve done with your lashes» because they looked so unbelievably real! I will never be only somewhat happy with my lashes again, and it is all thanks to amazing Nes! I am so glad I found you!!! :)
