My cousins goes to this college and she loves it. One of the best ones out there. I like this clean facility. It has state of the art equipment and really friendly staff. Highly recommend it for students out there who are interested.

i had to take away a star because, tho I had a really good instructor Ms. Mona, I have been thru many coming and going instructors prior to her, so mostly taught myself on cuts and color and among other things, but once they have a steady instructor, its a good place to get your hours and get your license… I love Ms. Lei the reception and Ms. Chau the nail structor, Ms. mona who used to be the instructor theres, not too long after getting my license, I opened my Salon in Fremont, things I learned while running a business from things I learned going to school, doesn’t prepare enough but in any profession, sometimes you have to teach your self because ultimately it is your passion and desire to do what it is that you do, and no matter where you are, if you have them you will make it, I took everything Cosmotek had to offer me with my passion and love for beauty and hair added I am who I am today doing what I love and do best, Chic Styling Salon, Fremont…

Only $ 3 hair cuts! The teachers are right there with us during the entire service helping, instructing, and encouraging us students. Cosmotek was a great choice of school for me, The teachers are very knowledgeable and very well prepared me for the State Board Exam. They make school fun while getting the lessons across as well. Every employee and student here is super friendly, organized, and motivated to be here. The services are AMAZINGLY done for their prices. You walk out looking worth more than you paid (; i would definitely recommend and encourage others to Choose Cosmotek as both a school to learn or a school to get services done.

I love going to this place. How can anyone not love it when haircuts are always at 3 dollars! What an awesome deal. There’s a student there by the name of Elaine, and she does an awesome job! Very personable and gives personalized service. I always walk out after she cleans me up feeling like a million bucks. Friendly staff, cheap cuts, and great service. Go see Elaine, but catch her while you can… she’ll be graduating soon!

Great place to get your nails and hair done! They’re always able to get my hair exactly the way I ask for it. They are also able to do difficult nail designs, since there’s usually not a long wait or rush like in normal nail salons. No nagging either.
The students are extremely focused and talented, and all work is done under the supervision of a professional. A bonus is that services are extremely well-​priced, since everything is performed by students.

If I had a choice to give NO STARS I WOULD! I have been going to this place for years… received different services in all this time like perms, cuts, highlights, even gotten my kids cuts here. Although there is usually a language barrier between myself and the students that have done my services, the supervisor always seemed to communicate what I wanted. Today is my birthday. I called 4 days prior (on Tuesday) asking to make an appointment for HIGHLIGHTS and a hair cut. I was told to come in at 10am on Saturday… the day I asked for. I showed up at 10 am on Saturday only to be told that the student called with an emergency, and even worse than that, the stupid secretary kept telling me that even though she did admit that she told me to come in at 10 it was NEVER AN APPOINTMENT because she didn’t ask for my information when I had called! Then I was told come back a few hours later so I did… when I arrived, they took my daughter first who needed a cut and shampoo… then when it was my turn by now it is around 3:30pm, they got the color I had asked for after cutting my hair. I noticed that they were coloring MY COMPLETE HEAD!!! This is NOT the process for highlights!!! I wanted blonde streaks and they were making me completely blonde!!! THANKFULLY I said something before the color could take!!! Then they went to wash it out before it was too late and the student didn’t even rinse it completely out and no supervisor checked the rinsing!!! They refunded my money for both my cut and highlights… after they argued that I asked for complete color because all they paid attention to was me saying «one color» for the highlights… not two blended colors. There was a graduate there named Carlina. She tried to help mediate and even offered to try and do what I asked for in the first place because I had explained to her that it was my birthday and I had waited all day. But she couldn’t do it because although she was willing to highlight my hair, the supervisor said there was nobody to RINSE my hair when she was done… REALLY??? AFTER MAKING AN APPOINTMENT, FAILING TO HAVE A STUDENT THERE WHEN I SHOWED UP AS DIRECTED, HAVING TO COME BACK, WAIT WHILE YOU DID MY DAUGHTERS HAIR FIRST AND ME HAVING TO STOP YOU FROM A COMPLETE BLONDE HAIR JOB THAT I DID NOT ASK FOR AND THAT COLOR NOT BEING RINSED FROM MY HAIR COMPLETELY YOU CANT KEEP SOMEBODY THERE 15 MINUTES LATE TO FIX MY WHOLE FREAKING DAY FROM BEING RUINED BY YOU??? I will NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN, AND unless you speak Vietnamese or get an student whose first language is English, I do not recommend you go here either!

i have had my hair/​beard trim at this location even since they moved to the current location 6 years ago.
they charge only 2 bucks for hair and beard trim each.
usually students are cutting hair and trimming beard.
they are quick and the job is always above average to the best.
you can’t go wrong with $ 2 haircut period.
top of that, on every Monday, it’s only a buck for hair cut.
highly recommended for men and women, old and young.

I and my daughter have been visiting this place from time to time for the beauty services as well as their fashion show events. Students do a great job under instructor’s supervision. The school is nice and clean with friendly environment. I believe this is the school you should come for your new skills in beauty service.

I’m currently taking the Manicurist class here at Cosmotek. It has been a fun, great and fulfilling experience! The environment and energy so inviting, and easy going. Ly the front desk is very friendly and organized. She helps us gathers everything we need before our test date. Ms. Chau is an amazing Manicurist instructor and super adorable. She is very knowledgeable in both manicures and hair and extremely helpful. Overall I had a great time learning and gaining confidence in this field. I’m grateful for the opportunity!

I took my cousin here to sign up for the esthetic class. We met with the owner and she was very helpful and professional. While waited for my cousin to finish up with her registration, I decided to get my nails done by one of their students. Being in the beauty industry for over 10 years, from my observation of their staffs and the entire facility I could tell that the teachers here really care and train their students well.
I forgot the girl name but she did a fantastic job with my manicure. She was good at what she does and since I am a clean freak, everything was very organized, clean and sanitized just the way I preferred. I left with a smile on my face :)

Whether you want to enroll or come here for cosmetology needs this place is great! Conveniently located one block away from the Plant shopping center, Cosmotek has plenty of free parking. Their student hair dressers and manicurists are fully supervised by CA licensed beauty professionals. Both customers and students will find a spacious, state of the art salon like environment. The school director, Cynthia Trinh is super nice, sweet and helpful. Ms. Trinh has operated this business like pro and she will make the enrollment process extremely easy. I can’t think of a better beauty and tech school in the area!

I have been in this college for 2 programs: Esthetician and Cosmocology. Both of them are GREAT! Their facility is huge and have many stations, rooms, and devices for different beauty techniques. They provide all the necessary learning tools for students, so the students can pick up learning the useful skills right away. The programs is flexible, so a student can do part time if he/​she has a job.
Other than the program and the facility, the best part of the school is their teachers. THEY ARE AWSOME! One of my favorite teachers is JAMES. He has so many experience and skills for the students to learn, and he is totally fun and energetic. He helps students with his passion about hair beauty, and he is also very knowlegeable about how to pass the state board and hair coloring. He is the best beauty teacher I ever have. Mrs. Hahn is also very helpful and patient for all the students. She is very good at hair up-​do and make-​up, on top of excellent experience of hair cutting.
I love this school, and I can’t wait to apply all the techniques that James and Mrs. Hanh have taught me to the real beauty field and fulfill my dream.
