Firemen Moving

I’m so happy with firemen moving. I was freaking out all week about moving heavy things into a third story apt with no elevator. We finished in under 2 hours and i’m so relieved!

I had hired two guys for two hours to load up my pod from my one bedroom apartment. This turned into an all day affair! The first two guys that showed, managed to get most of the boxes in the pod, but in such a way that there wasn’t a lot of room for my furniture. Two hours were up, half my apartment was not loaded and they determined they had to leave for another event. Two more guys were sent. They looked at what was left in the apartment vs the space in the pod and started the «it’s not all going to fit» game. 3.5 hours later, they managed to fit everything, but somehow screwed up my mattress. When it was delivered, it was like they put something very heavy on top of it for the move. I’m now going to have to buy a new mattress after only having this one for a year. When the movers who unloaded me showed up here, they were astonished at the time it took to load my pod and the condition it was in. It was a very poor job and many of my boxes were caved in due to poor packing. I would not recommend them now would I use them again.

These guys did a great job. Forrest is a good guy and the two movers he sent were courteous and took the time to wrap fragile items and made sure they were packed into our moving pods securely. I had to change my moving date a few times and also add on some hours as fear I wouldn’t have help for enough time and Forrest and his team were very flexible and accommodating. I’d recommend these guys to anybody looking for help in their move!

Nightmare situation. Was told they would bring dolly and they didn’t. Moved boxes one at a time from third floor. Took twice as long as it should have and I had to pay for it.

Called 3x over two days, and no return call. Guess my phone # doesn’t have the secret sauce. Then I saw a review on Ripoff Report and decided not to pursue. Hope they’re terrific, but, Meh. I’ve experienced better.

I was very happy with the service from Firemen Moving. I submitted a request through uHaul and Forrest called me almost right away to find out about the details. Throughout the process Forrest was friendly and professional… he was also very good at seeing the best way to pack the van so that we could actually fit everything (it was close — I probably should have gotten the next size up). I would definitely call these guys again.

2 young men showed up on time, very pleasant and friendly. I lived on the third floor with no elevator and had some really heavy furniture. These guys worked constantly without taking a break. Both were extremely pleasant and friendly. Neither of them ever complained! I would highly recommend this company! Great communication as well!

I called Firemen Moving and they answered the phone. All the previous calls to other movers I got voice messages. I spoke with Forest who was very helpful with my questions so we set up a time for him to come move us. These guys where great! Very businesslike and carefully moved all my stuff without a hitch. There was a few obstacles between the uhaul and my house but they where no problem for the guys. A great job from beginning to a smooth end. I recommend these guys big time especially at the very fair price they gave.

Exactly what I was looking for — careful, experienced packing and moving things within my house at a very reasonable rate. Sam and Dillon swapped the upstairs area rugs with the downstairs, helped rearrange the furniture afterward, packed up a garage full of items and hoisted them into the attic, and moved several heavy items into the newly-​cleared garage and into my truck. They were friendly and efficient the whole time, also patient with my wanting to sweep the floor before the rug went back down, then vacuum the rug before the furniture went back onto it. Sam’s estimate of how long the effort would take was right on. Actually I should say that they moved fast enough to finish several optional tasks within the original budget. Scheduling was easy and they were available on short notice with a modest two-​hour minimum. I will definitely hire Firemen again.

Firemen movers moved an antique piano upstairs for us. Forrest and Sam were very professional on time with the lowest price around. The piano is large and awkward they were able to move it safely and ease.

Had a last-​minute need to help load up a U-​Haul on Monday, Aug. 13. Called at 6:30 am and asked for someone to show up at 10 am. Kenny showed up, and was extraordinary. He knew exactly how to pack a 17′ truck (I thought I’d have to leave stuff behind), and he and one other guy completed it all in less than 2 hours. Was not expensive but should have been. Worth far more than we paid. Highly recommended.
