When I did a simple move, they broke the leg off my table and lost my ironing board, and several things were smashed, scratched, bent, etc.
Two YEARS later, I am still working with the BBB to get a check for the items they destroyed and lost. I thought I did my research in choosing this company. The problems largely stemmed from the bad loading done because they chose to scrimp and not have enough people on the job, which was probably why the quote was slightly lower. My poor relative was standing out in the 100 degree heat watching my stuff while Rossiter left giant stacks of it unattended in the street, because they had to park a block away because they didn’t do what they had to in order to get permission to park the truck nearby. I’m fortunate that more stuff wasn’t stolen and damaged.
FYI — If Alma in the settlement department tells you she’s «looking into it» and will «keep you posted,» in my experience (multiple times) this is her way of saying «I’m going to ignore all further contact from you now!» Even if you get the BBB involved! If only the people who do the move (and manage the claims when you pay a lot for full value protection) were as half as good as the sales staff.

We were very pleased with Rossiter Relocation Services. They were on time, very professional and did a great job ensuring that not only our furniture was protected, but the floor and walls as well. They even put stretch wrap up the stairs!
Linda West began the process in a very professional manner and gave us some good moving tips.
Moving is stressful and this company definitely mitigated some of that stress. They went so far as to rearrange furniture and even switch mattresses to different bedrooms.
We highly recommend this company.

This is a great crew of people. My wife and I have used Rossiter twice now and wouldn’t use anyone else. Ralph Cramer makes everything easy to understand and is very helpful with solutions to any problems you may throw at him. The movers themselves are first class people. They not only know their jobs well but are very helpful with ideas above and beyond the moving of just the furniture. Good people that I TRUST 100%.

The movers themselves were great, they worked hard, and they were nice. They did break a few things, which caused me to submit a claim. THIS is why the rating is so low. I submitted a claim for damages on July 11. Today is October 30 and I still haven’t had a resolution.
