Established in 2012.

My Name is Michael Avila and I have worked in the landscaping industry for over 30 years. My passion is to give people a special and unique outdoor living area that has both form and function. That is why I started Built 2 Last Landscape & Design. We provide our vast experience and expertise to our clients to help guide and advise them as to what will be best for them, but we never forget that it is their home and their decision. We know that landscaping budgets are not unlimited and we pride ourselves on being able to work with our clients to offer the most cost effective solutions to fit your budget and lifestyle.

Business Owner

Rob Skovmand is a South Bay native but I’m not your typical contractor. I worked my way through San Jose State working in the trades. I graduated with a degree in Accounting and went on to work with the controller for a pubic company. My job was to consolidate multiple business to cut costs and manage logistics. In 2002 I started flipping houses and contracting whole house remodels including landscaping for clients. My background as a tradesman combined with my accounting expertise given me insight to perform projects on time and budget.
