Hands down the best rehearsal studios and live recording studio in the bay area! Great prices and Eric, Nick, and Elton are incredible engineers/​producers that cater to whatever your sound may be. Clean, spacious, and all around super good vibe here. Would definitely recommend Light Rail to all musicians!

These guys make some of the best sounds in San Francisco. The space is clean and full of light, top of the line vintage and modern gear, skilled and inspired engineers, and awesome parties! Rock on rockers!

The rehearsal spaces are the best I’ve ever worked at. Always clean, bathrooms are stocked, lots of parking and real secure. The recording studio and staff are UNREAL! The gear, vibe and the SOUNDS are the best I have ever heard, and I ain’t no newbie. The live room sounds great btw, last session I did there we basically didn’t use any headphones, it sounds great. Once you see the storage room you, ll never want to close that toy box or leave lightrail… ever. If you are a real player, a trip to LR is better than an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii. Or Thailand. Only complaint is the lack of starburst in the vending machine.

The Sound engineer guys at Light Rail Studio really know what they are doing. They have a great space, great artwork and throw great parties which really help bands get a chance to be a part of a real San Francisco Music community.

The monthly rehearsal studios are killer! Spacious and clean rooms, vending machine, kitchen, lounge and gigantic recording rooms with an amazingly talented staff of sound engineers. All of the newest in Pro tools in conjunction with every vintage amp and guitar you can imagine. Love those guys!
