Beyond Pix Studios @Bayshore:
After 20 years in San Francisco, Beyond Pix announces its next stage of growth: @Bayshore, the city’s largest shooting stage. You can either bring what you need, or get it all in house — including the awesome folks from Beyond Pix.
Beyond Pix was founded in 1992 with the basic premise that anyone should be able to use broadcast quality video. Eventually, our market reached beyond broadcast television and into the world of the web, corporations and well, Beyond. The key to our success is our down to earth approach coupled with a commitment to make the process of production smooth and seamless. We do everything so our clients never realize how complicated projects can be. With hundreds of successful productions stored in our video library for countless companies around the world — large or small — Beyond Pix has delivered on our original premise — video is for everyone.
History
Established in 1992.
Bayshore Studio played a central role in San Francisco’s thriving production industry for 17 years, but was slated for demolition after closing its doors in late 2011.
Beyond Pix Studios acquired the facility in January to preserve, restore and re-open the space as a resource for the San Francisco production community. The studio is the only acoustically-designed and full-service sound stage production facility in San Francisco, with more than 6500 square feet and a 50×50 foot stage with a cyc wall.
«It’s been a tough 5 years for our industry as a whole, but I see a rebound gaining momentum, especially in the Bayshore district.
As a new groundswell of film and video companies have opened in that area during the last 6 months, it makes sense to preserve the Bayshore Studio space for local companies to leverage as the rebound continues,» said Ray Santiago, Beyond Pix Founder.
The studio operates as @Bayshore at 2178 Palou Avenue in San Francisco after substantial renovation.
Meet the Manager
Laura H.
Manager
LAURA HART: 415.434.1027 or 415.265.2641
Production Supervisor
We’ve been in this business for over 16 years now and there’s one thing we know, the business of production and all of it’s complexities. And when times are hectic with calls coming in from international clients, organizing multi-cam crews, managing a stage, fulfilling last minute on-location requests, making sure the crew is fed, and all at the same time, you better have a cool, calm and collected individual who doesn’t freak out.
We have Laura, ice water runs in her veins, a decisive decision maker and sharp as a tack. She is a walking matrix, the solution provider when all the possibilities are exhausted and even with all of the pressure, Laura performs with infectious grace.
Laura comes from the highly regarded Kenwood Group, where she cut her eyeteeth and gained a lot of experience. The next phase of her career here at Beyond Pix brings bigger challenges and we’re pleased to say she’s risen to the occasion.
