We are a mobile service only, so we do not have a store. We specialize in convenient, quick, friendly service for an array of locksmith services. Some of the services we offer are lockouts, residential and commercial lock repair, high security locks and keys, and Master Key systems.

We also service keyless entry, buzzer systems, handicap door openers, and electronic door releases. If you are interested in owning a safe, or already own a safe, we offer both sales and service.

I have been doing lock work for 23 years now. I started at a shop in Savannah, Georgia that has been in the same place and same family for over 125 years. The founder was friends with Harry Houdini. After a few years I had to move to escape the heat of the deep south. I moved to Columbus, Ohio and started Columbus Keys. Then I realized that I couldn’t take the cold either. So I moved to San Francisco in 2000 and I love it here — it’s perfect!

I don’t leave many reviews but Jeff is amazing. I love dealing with proprietors like Jeff that are focused on delivering high quality service, timeliness, and not charging an exorbitant amount even though I was in a bind. He was very accommodating on coming after hours to match my schedule, arrived on time, took care of the problem in probably 10 – 15 minutes. You won’t regret your decision to go with Jeff.

Jeff is great!!! I had a ridiculous occurrence where my dog locked me out of my apartment and some how put the safety on. Apparently she is really smart. Well Jeff was there in no time flat! He was great to deal all around, really from the beginning of our interaction till this day. He even suggested some improvements to my lock for safety reasons. His prices are very very reasonable and competitive. I would highly recommend him for all your locksmithing needs!!!

The original Locksmith I called flaked due too much traffic. Called Jeff and he was here in no time. He unlocked the door for us and even made keys for us for a fair price. He’s really easy going and well mannered, simply the best!

We had two complicated locks that we needed changed for keyless entry to our home. Lock 1 was a deadbolt on an old victorian door, Lock 2 was a former electric buzzer entry gate that required welding & removal/​re-​intallation of a uniquely annoying, quite large, safety plexiglass window. Jeff’s team quoted the job and after it was very clear that the original scope of work was far less than what actually needed to be done, not only did they still follow through with their original bid, they delivered a very professional looking job with no mention of the fact that there was signifiantly more work involved than originally anticipated. Truly a class act, highly recommend these guys.

Jeff was extremely professional and efficient. His rates are completely fair.
My car was broken into (typical SF these days) and my whole purse was stolen, 6 months ago. The locksmith that I called really took advantage of my situation. He charged $ 10 a key plus every other imaginable fee.
Jeff is an honest man.
And we could use a few more men like him in this world.

This is my first time hiring a locksmith, so I opted for the highest rated company on Unilocal and am so, so glad I did — Jeff deserves every one of those five stars and a 6th to boot. I called him on a Saturday morning and he was available same day to help me get into my locked bedroom. Not only was he prompt, but he was efficient, helpful, affordable, and kind.
If you need a locksmith in any capacity, I wouldn’t recommend using anyone else! Jeff’s the man!

I called Jeff at 6:30 pm on a Tuesday because the door to my boutique would not lock. He arrived within 45 mins just as he said he would, fixed my lock, reinforced the bolts and even took the time to fix a few other things he found wrong. He was incredibly fast, polite and really just saved the day for me.

I live in a home that was built in 1929. I’ve had problems with my front door lock for years and had different locksmiths try to correct the problem. Finally Jeff came to the rescue. The first time he spent about 20 minutes trying different parts, but confirmed that I should have the lock competely replaced. Mortise locks can not be purchased anywhere, except through a specialty hardware store. He made a couple of suggestions, I ordered a complete new lock, which took 4 weeks to be delivered. Jeff installed the lock and came back a few weeks later made me 4 more keys for free. (Even the keys are hard to find, unless you see a professional locksmith). He came 3 times and only charged me for the installation. What a nice guy! If you need a professional and kind person, call him.

When it got to be 4:45, I was beginning to wonder, since Jeff had said «between 3 and 5.» Well, he was within his promised service window, clearly knows what he is doing and charges a fair price under the circumstances. What more can one want? Answer: that the person providing good service also seem to be a nice guy. Jeff is that as well.

What a positive experience! Jeff was here exactly when he said he would and he got the job done in the most economical and efficient way possible. He was even considerate enough to save my antique doorknob! I felt completely comfortable having him in my home; a true gentleman! I would recommend him to anyone! Jeff did a wonderful job fixing my old lock– I live in a 100+ year apartment and when the lock broke I had no idea who to turn to! Jeff first looked for a replacement lock but when he couldn’t find one he spent about an hour taking apart the old lock, replacing a spring and putting it back together.
I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a great locksmith!
