Called in the other day to get some assistant /​had some question about rugs. Spoke to the owner Steve and he was a huge help. We were on the phone for 20 minuets and he explained to me what I needed to do and what he recommended. He was a huge help! He sounded like he had his hands full. But not busy enough to help me out. He went above and beyond. Thanks Steve!

Hands down the best service for replacing carpet. I’m a resident manager in San Francisco and we use Carpet Connection for everyone of our jobs. They do a phenomenal job.
We had a really hard case a few months ago where the carpet was 30+ yrs old, the tenant was demanding and very short window to get all the work done. Carpet Steve stepped up and handled the situation like I’ve never seen. Knowing he only had one shot to get this right in the allotted time he brought every item they use for worst case scenario to make sure the job was done on time and right. He was so patient and personally stayed there the entire job knowing the complication of the situation. Once the job was done he and his crew moved everything back onto the carpet. Never complaining and saying this is out of scope. On his way out the door the tenant stopped him asked if he could look at her drapes. They were broken. Well this is a skill he has and he ended up going to the hardware store and repairing her blinds that very same day. This is a company that goes far beyond your carpet. If he sees an issue he will bring it up to make sure it gets taken care off.
I wish all of the vendors we use could have the same quality and skill as do those at Carpet Connection.

We shopped around several stores for carpeting, and decided to give our business to Carpet Connections because of their good value, great selection and excellent service by owners Steve and Semara. Steve came out as scheduled to measure. Delivery, installation and hauling away the old carpet were included and no surprise extras were added on. Installation went very well, installation crew was excellent and cleaned up very nicely and was completed in a day exactly as promised. I highly recommend Carpet Connection to anyone seeking a great price and excellent service for their carpeting needs.

Crew arrived on time. The prepared the floor (the floor is concrete) by grinding off high spots and filling cracks. They came back the next day with a big crew and installed all 2000 sq. ft. of carpet with baseboard in one day. The job looks great.

My house was full of furniture and I was worried that installing new carpet would be an ordeal I would not be happy with. The crew from Carpet Connection could not have been more professional as they moved all my furniture without and damage. The carpet is beautiful and we get lot’s of compliments from our friends and guests. We did shop around and found Carpet Connection to be the lowest cost provider. We are very pleased with the service and product we received.

I needed to carpet a commercial space and did not want the usual blue or gray carpet. I called Steve and told him what I was looking for. He emailed me a photo of something he had in stock. He showed up the next day on time with the remnant. It was a lovely print name brand «Shaw» He installed the next day for me. He also beat the competitor by 30%. Its now a year and a half old and looks brand new.

if you are prepared to wait indefinitely for the installation — and it may never happen — call steve. nice guy, but i suspect he’s not really interested in small jobs. my sense is he’s overrun with work and doesn’t know how to organize his time or commitments (one-​man operation), so you have to be VERY patient. his estimate was lower than several others, but he doesn’t follow up and ultimately couldn’t fulfill his commitment. and worse, he blamed everything on us.

Perfect in every way. Our new carpet is gorgeous and was less expensive than the two other places we called for bids. Also more convenient. Steve St. Denny, the owner, came to our house with samples. This was much easier than the schlepping back and forth we did with the other two places we checked out.
I hate to say it’s come to this, but I was actually shocked that everything went exactly as planned. It just plain never works this way anymore — someone’s late, missing a part, charging more… Not Carpet Connection.
I was thrilled that our carpet was installed exactly when they said it would be for exactly what they said it would cost and the installation was perfect. Having been disappointed before I asked who would be installing and how long they had been working for Carpet Connection. Steve said, «Oh I have the new guy coming, he’s only been with us for 15 years.» :-)
So! What we have here is carpet that’s less expensive (I compared apples to apples — exact same carpet), 100% reliable company and perfect installation.
I should note that we did 4 rooms, stairs and a long hall — I don’t think this would be the best place to go if you just have one room.

We got two independent referrals to Carpet Connection — one from a friend and one from our contractor. Therefore, we didn’t really bother to shop around. We win. Steve came over on Friday evening — we chose a basic carpet that he had in stock — and the job was done by Monday at 1:30. It looks fantastic and the price seemed more than fair. He told me his most junior guys have been with him more than 10 years… obviously he is doing it right. Do what we did and save your time and effort with comparison shopping and just call them.

We are very happy with the services of carpet connectiion. Steve who is the owner helped us in recommending the right kind of carpet and Also the perfect color. Our place is totally transformed. It’s amazing. The installers did a great job and not only they moved the furniture and all the other stuff from one room to the other, they did not break anything. They clean and vacuum my whole place! No dust! Their prices are very good. I would highly reccomend this place.

This company is great. My grandfather needed carpet installed in his entire house on a short timeframe. I called on a Monday and Dave came right out, provided a fair estimate and did not nickel and dime me over moving household items, and other costs like other big box companies. He was very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions on how we could save both time and money. He was also VERY reasonable on costs for moving household items that other companies would not move or wanted to charge extra for. I wanted to install in one day but I’m thankful that he convinced me two days would allow me time to move all the items and get the house back in order! Carpet was installed on Wednesday and Friday with great success as I’m sure even Dave wondered if we would be ready! The installers were on time, super helpful, friendly, and respectful of my grandfather… add to that, hard working and quick! The carpet price was comparable to other places but I give this company 50 extra points for their friendly professionalism, tact, helpfulness, and quality. Glad to do business with a local company that really does know how to do business the right way.

My parents needed new carpet for their in law unit and stairs. We called Carpet Connection and scheduled a free estimate-​Sasha came the next day (NOT at all the experience I had with the other companies) and brought samples to our house. She gave great advice and suggestions without pressuring us in one direction or another. Since we picked carpet that they had in stock, we were able to schedule installation for the same week!!!
The installers were very professional, fast, and did an amazing job.
I would definitely use them again and have already referred a bunch of friends over there who are just as satisfied as me.

i was the office manager of the Door Doctor, a garage door company at 2160 palou. we were in desperate need of new carpeting and carpet connections came for an estimate on the same day. they installed the carpet within the week, something my demanding boss insisted upon, and it was done with expertise and finesse. they are amazing. i would recommend them for residential or business needs– and i have. it is a family run business, so they take their company more seriously perhaps than most… after all, it is their livelihood.
