California Towing

George is AWESOME!!!
I had an Audi S4 in SAFE mode which immobilized the car in the small garage behind a Russian Hill apartment (SF) with tight zig zag driveway /​access point. Even now, I can’t believe the car was pulled out without a scratch or any problem.
Yesterday: My insurance sent out roadside assistance and the tow guy laughed when he saw where the car was. He said it was an «extraction» which needed a minimum of 2 guys. I said «no» & the tow guy left without another word. I lost 4 hours of my life that I can’t get back.
Today (late morning): I called California Towing. George answered & I explained the situation. He asked for my preferred meeting time & I said in 45 minutes. He was there in 40 minutes. George did the tow by himself with a little bit of help from me. The Audi was delivered to a service. My out-​of-​pocket expense with George was a fraction of the first tower’s quote & I didn’t even get my insurance involved. I even offered a tip and he wouldn’t take it.
Today (mid-​afternoon): The Audi is fixed and sitting in my driveway in Burlingame.
I couldn’t have done this without George.
