History
Established in 1997.
The Witt family has been in the Automobile business since 1947. Ed Witt’s family still owns and operated dealerships in Wisconsin where his parents started the first Witt Ford dealership. Ed owned Ed Witt’s Venus Ford in the Milwaukee WI area for 13 years moving to San Diego in the fall of 1997. Here in San Diego Ed has been joined by his three sons. Todd, Scott and Patrick. The Witt dealership has won many awards and recognitions over the years for outstanding sales and service. In 2013 San Diego UT readers voted Witt Lincoln the best service and repair in San Diego. Quite an accomplishment!

Ed Witt grew up in a small northern Wisconsin town where his family ran a Ford dealership. In 1980 Ed moved to Milwaukee and worked at Foster Pontiac as their GM for 5 years. In 1985 Ed bought Venus Ford in a Milwaukee suburb (Cudahy) where he operated an award winning dealerhip for 13 years. Ed moved to San Diego in the fall of 1997 consolidated the Lincoln business into one store located in Mission Valley (central to the county) where they still remain.
