I came here even though it was out of the area because of the good Unilocal reviews. I had gone to other Chevy and GMC dealers. I must have passed a few dozen dealers to come here, but I am glad I did. The staff was great and really worked with me without the standard dealership haggling experience. They gave me a good reasonable price from the start.
Timmy, who helped me, was awesome! He was very knowledgable, showed me exactly what I wanted and did not try to sell me on something I didn’t want like other dealers. Answered only the questions I asked and was very straight forward. I did not feel pressured and didn’t feel like I was being pushed into buying something, he is very wise beyond his years.
I have recommended him and this dealership to a few friends already and I’m looking forward to buying a second vehicle with them in the near future.
After buying the vehicle, Timmy has still quickly followed up with answers to some of the questions I’ve had. Great follow through even after the buy.

I will NEVER go back! Promises are lies. Worst car buying experience ever. Not one thing happened that I was promised. It was 8 hours of nonsense and regret the whole experience. Please go somewhere else!

I recently bought a used vehicle from this dealership and I had a great experience. I worked with J Tyler Williams and he was very helpful. We negotiated price by email, which made me more comfortable than doing it in person, and it was a positive experience when I went to test drive and buy the vehicle, arrange financing, and trade in my other vehicle. As I drove home I noticed a small crack in the windshield (I’m not surprised they didn’t notice before, since I also didn’t notice it during the test drive), and since it was a certified pre-​owned vehicle, J Tyler and his associates arranged to have it fixed within the week, at my office. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Thanks!

I bought a used Jeep from this dealership… got a wonderful deal.
After a week the front headlight would go in and out of working. Larry Ramos took great care of my vehicle and me. He made sure my Jeep was fixed thoroughly and even made sure I had a vehicle to get around with in the meantime. BTW– the Buick they lent me was awesome! Thank you Larry!

So, I rated this dealership 5 in November of last year for the awesome service from everyone from the salesman, Paul Dixon, to the cashier.
Came in today for my first service on the Terrain I leased, and it’s 5 stars again. These people are awesome!
First, receptionist was friendly and efficient: got me an oil-​change appt. for the day after I called. I arrived on time and my car was also taken into service ON TIME. When’s the last time that happened at a Toyota dealership? I can answer that question from experience: NEVER.
They said an hour and 20 and that’s how long it’s taken; car’s just about done now.
Oh, and while I was waiting, the guy who sold me my car half a year ago came by and greeted me by name. And then an employee offered me coffee, water … or chocolate! Not kidding!
I should also mention the guy handling my service, Jesus Navarro: friendly, polite, and so helpful. Moved things along a bit when he heard I needed to get back to work by 1:00!
No one here ever talks down to you or treats you dismissively. They treat all their customers like gold. Love this place and it’s why I’m buying my next SUV from them.

After attempting to do business at multiple dealerships, no one came close to the customer service that Anthony and his sales manager provided. They worked hard for my business and I am very happy. Thanks Anthony your the man!

My experience at MKB was the best! I had Leonard Cotton and store manager Jake helped me through my whole process. Jake and Leonard pulled a miracle out on getting me a new car, I don’t know how they did it but they made it happen. I’ve been to a lot of dealerships but MKB. Is the best by far and it’s all thanks to these two gentlemen Jake & Leonard! I’m loving my 2016 GMC Acadia! Thank you MKB & Jake and Leonard, don’t take my word for it, go in and you’ll experience the best service ever!

For a number of months my 2011 CTS-​V Wagon had been experiencing a growing grinding noise from the rear end. My powertrain warranty was coming up for expiration so I wanted to see if this was a major issue. Mr service adviser Anthony stuck with the issue, and over a number of visits we systematically worked through potential causes until doing a full clutch and rear-​end replacement. Anthony did an excellent job managing GM parts replacement, keeping me up to date each day, and my car now drives like brand new. Very pleased, keep up the great work guys!

Went in this morning to get a recall fixed on my 2010 Pontiac G6! Worked with Larry! Larry himself wasn’t only amazing in making sure my car was taken care of but making sure I was as well. I’m 100% happy with Marvin K Brown! I will be returning for any all other repairs needed on my car! Also my husband is deployed will be impressed as well since the car is his baby and he takes very good care of the car!!!

Last time I bought a used car I literally cried I hated it so much. This time Paul Dixon & Tobey Grin were chill, helpful, and the experience was actually almost pleasant. Totally recommend them.

Classic aggressive car salesman. Starts off with jokes, shows us a deal that says is rare, rushes us to drive the car asap, tells us a story about how he haggled with a shoe saleswoman (as if warning us that haggling is frowned upon), then tells us if we don’t make a decision today then the world will end (exaggerating but that’s how he made us feel). These tactics are just so old that we had to walk out. There has to be a more modern and transparent way to buy a car these days.

I had amazing experience working with the sales manager, Bill Cooper. I purchased a used BMW X1 as a gift for my wife and drove all the way down from Los Angeles to pick up the car. Bill’s team made the experience very simple and everyone was very professional. I would recommend and refer business to this dealership in the future. Bill has integrity, and is straight forward. Thank you for all the help and support.

I was very impressed with the smooth transaction of purchasing a car at MKB. I worked with Breen and he was straight forward and personable. I truly rate this as the best car buying experience that I have had.

Anthony in service demonstrates great customer service. He has good communication, doesn’t make me feel like he is upselling and gives realistic timeframes for how long it’s going to take.
Fred on the sales side also does a great job. A few months ago I was considering turning in my lease for a new one and he went out of his way to look for the options I wanted. When I decided to convert my lease he explored extended warranty options and followed up even when I decided to go directly with the credit union.

I have had the best experience at any auto dealer I’ve ever been to this morning. Long story short my 2013 cadi ats had some major engine issues happen Saturday night. I left a frantic voicemail for Corky on Sunday because their service dept is closed on Sunday and I had a call from Corky at 7am on the dot Monday morning telling me to bring my car down and he’ll have it taken care of today. AWESOME SERVICE CORKY WEEKS! Happy to have my car serviced by Marvin K Brown Cadillac!

After my review here and an email to MKB, I received a couple emails from MKB — one from the Service Mgr and the other from the owner. They promised to make amends and were very sorry to hear about my experience.
So, I took my baby back and they performed a terrific complete detail, inside & out including under the hood.
I’ve returned since that visit and I received very good service. I also want to thank Kevin Knepper, my service advisor.
Well done, MKB! You won me back!

Hats off to Troy Baldwin, the finance manager in giving excellent customer service. From coming to my home in the rain, searching out the best prices on an extended warranty to returning to my home so that my husband could complete required paperwork, I couldn’t have asked for a better salesman. He insured that I knew how to operate the basic features on my new Cadillac SRX. This truly was the best car buying experience I have ever had.

I would like to personally thank Robert from the service department. I was greeted with a smile and he had me in and out in no time. Every time I come to this dealership I am always treated well! Keep up the great work!!!

I see my wive’s review of our horrible experience in the Finance department was removed. To the horrible condition of the vehicle upon delivery. Now this:
SERVICE DEPARTMENT:
I just picked my car up from service. Only to find out that the car was driven OVER 300 miles while it was in service! The car was dropped off on Thursday morning and picked up on Tuesday nite. 300 miles means a serious joy ride while my car was in service?! DO NOT EVER LEAVE YOUR CAR IN SERVICE OVER THE WEEKEND at Marvin K Brown! I am absolutely horrified that someone else has been driving my car. While my family of 8 was squeezed into a compact rental, while someone CLEARLY drove my escalde 300 plus miles!
The car was not detailed prior to purchase, so while it was in service it was supposed to be detailed. When we picked the car up it was washed, armorall was slathered all over the tires. Detail, no detail done. The same crayons under the seat of the vehicle when we purchased the car were still there when we picked it up. No clay as promised, still scratches all over the vehicle. It looks as if we received a sloppy car wash and vacuum.
This review barely scratches the surface of our experience at Markin K Brown. I strongly suggest purchasing AND servicing your vehicle at any other Cadillac dealership!

Worst customer service I’ve ever received at a service department. I’m surprised by the lack of customer care. I should have read the other reviews for this dealership before calling and wasting my time. I have no idea why these people work in customer service when they have no desire to help customers. I’ve gone to the Cadillac Dealership in El Cajon and experienced excellent customer care. The El Cajon Dealership is much further from my house but I will make the drive to avoid this horrible customer service. I suggest you do the same.
Update: I just called De La Fuente Cadillac and they know what customer service is! They were very kind and helpful! Already have an appointment at a place that seems to value good customer service! Job well done De La Fuente Dealership!
