Established in 2013.

Tutorial World was founded in 2013, when it became evident that there was a high need for experienced tutors in San Diego. Since then the business has grown as we continue to meet and help elementary school students in language arts and math, and adults learning English as a Foreign Language.

Meet the Business Owner

Jeanne V.

Business Owner

After practicing clinical social work for 15 years, Jeanne turned her focus to helping others academically, through private tutoring. She has a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in Social Work, as well as a certification with National Tutoring Association. Since early 2013, Jeanne has tutored children in kindergarten through 5^th grade in spelling, reading, writing, social studies and math, and has worked with adults who are learning English as a Foreign Language.
