History

Established in 2014.

The Tint Lab’s history started with an idea to provide San Diego with unmatched quality installation and customer service… at a good price.

The owner, Jason, has been an installer in this industry for over 22 years and has over 18,000 vehicles to add to his experience. After the Navy, Jason arrived here in San Diego in 1998 where he worked for shops who received countless 5 star reviews and, ultimately, 5 star ratings while in there employment.

No matter what style or idea you may have for your baby, let’s work together to make that a reality.

Business Owner

The Tint Lab’s owner, Jason, has been a resident of San Diego since 1998. He comes from Bossier City, La where most of his family still lives and where he picked up the trade from a close friend back in 1994 just before his Senior year of high school. Even in the Navy, he worked part time in Yokohama, Japan installing film for a local shop. After arriving back in the US, he wanted to be in California so bad, he called a Navy friend who was stationed here and arranged a living situation that could jump start his career in San Diego. So, long story short, here he is, 18 years later, finally able to bring San Diego a great place to bring all of it’s great auto styling ideas so we can help bring them to life…
