I received a very nice message from the owner of SD photo booth apologizing for the employee’s behavior and letting me know that he is no longer employed by SD photo booth. If that’s the case, I’m certain SD photo booth will continue to receive 5 stars from their customers from here on forward because I was impressed by their professionalism and pleasant demeanor on my wedding day.

What professionalism! SD Photobooth took care of everything in regards to the Photobooth on our wedding day. It was nice to know and trust that I didn’t have to worry about a thing in that aspect and could focus my attention on other things on our wedding day. I have heard nightmare stories on my friends’ wedding days of Photobooth companies not even showing up! That’s not even a thought when you book this company. Our guests had a BLAST in the Photobooth, and we got an amazing album at the end of the night. It sits in our living room and is still hilarious looking through the pictures and reminiscing.
And to Bethany, who left 1 star, you only have 2 reviews of 1 star each, both for vendors from your wedding day. That just doesn’t add up to me and it’s a shame that you have to bash such a reputable company to get some sort of personal satisfaction.
To everyone else, don’t hesitate to book them! You will not be disappointed.

I appreciate the efforts and follow up after some issues I had voiced after my event. The photo booth it self was fantastic, however, some of the communication before hand was a little poor. However, after speaking with the owner, he was very apologetic and validated my concerns. He was very reassuring and they understood our frustrations and corrected the root of the problem. Thanks again! My family and friends had a great time with your booth!

Let me say at first that photo booths are fun! They are always a hit at any party which of course it was at my wedding. However dealing with company was a nightmare. I booked them a few months before my wedding after I found them using groupon. I did not buy the groupon and went straight through them to help them out! I decided to book them because they seemed competitively priced plus they said they could do video messaging which my husband really wanted! I emailed them about a month before my wedding to ask about what they needed to set up. They responded asking what back drop and layout I wanted. I had never been given any options so I emailed them back asking for options. It took multiple emails and calls before I heard back from them. According to their website everything is customizable this is not really true. They give you a few options and you have to chose from those. I told them what I wanted and never got a confirmation. I emailed them multiple times and called them multiple times. It was not until I called and left a very upset threatening message 2 days before my wedding that they finally called me back. At the time I also asked if I could have a refund for a hour because I actually did not need them as long as I thought. They said since I went through groupon I couldn’t. When in reality I never went through groupon. Then at the wedding there was no video messaging. Their props selection left much to be desired. They didn’t make sure everyone put a photo in the scrapbook. Plus the guy running the photo booth was giving away my flowers, vases and decorations at the end of the night! There are so many other photo booth companies that you should not waste your time on these guys.

Ok so this is the first time I hire a photo booth, so I didn’t know what to expect. However, I have been to several weddings where photo booths have been present and I’ve seen good and ehh quality photo booths. I’m very picky about photography… and I wanted to make sure that the pictures that were taken from the photo booths were decent. First of all, I booked the photo booth I think a month before the wedding, so I was glad when Sam told me that they had availability. He gave me a discount because I booked them for a Friday wedding in a backyard. So that was a plus. He answered all of my emails promptly and was very professional. The day of the wedding, the guy who came said that he was told that it would be an inside venue and didn’t know that he would have to set up in a backyard. But he said it would be fine. He was very patient with the children that took a billion pictures. The one thing that I did notice was that the actual pictures that were being printed didn’t seem like the same high quality that is shown on the website… so I was disappointed at that. The pictures seemed small, but that can because I chose the photo strip template. Maybe if I had picked a different format the pictures would have printed bigger. The other thing is that I got the link to the pictures after the deadline, but Sam explained that it was because they got backed up on editing. Which I understand. I just wanted to make sure I got them. When I did get them… I fell in love. The clarity of the pictures look exactly like they do on their website… way better then the printed strips. I don’t know what size I can print them at and still keep the quality but I just finished making my photo album on Shutterfly, and I used the pictures to make a collage in the album and they look good. In my head… as long as I get the better quality pictures, cause I knew I wanted them to put in my album… I didn’t care so much anymore about the small pictures that were printed out. Would I hire them again… yes…would I recommend them… yup…am I glad I went with them over another company… sure why not… at the end… I liked the product. Thank you Sam!

I love this company! Sam is amazing! Everyone was amazing. I’ve talked to many people from my wedding and they said it was one of the best things at the wedding. I was very pleased with all the pictures and the fun props. If I have another event I would definitely contact SD Photo Booth again. Thanks guys!

If you have ever been to a Vietnamese wedding where the bride and groom have to stand out front and take a picture with every person coming through this review should resonate with you. We asked Sam if we could use the photo booth for this and sure enough he did. Day of he was there to go through and help us get all the pictures out to our guest who were all stunned by how fast the pictures were turned around since now one had ever used. If you have been to a Vietnamese wedding and seen the line that can pile up at the door, you would understand the extreme amount of stress this could put on any vendor. Sam and his team took it in stride and handle it like champs. Our photos came out amazing, Sam and his team were amazing to our guest and we’ve been told many times how fun and they were.
I can honestly say, if you have photo booth needs, Sam and SD photobooth should be your go to team. Don’t risk using an unproven team.
And lastly, if you are having a Vietnamese wedding and need entrance photos, these guys are probably now the only photo booth team that have actually pulled this off so please be wise and choose them.

I was a guest at a friend’s wedding and got introduced to Sam, During my wedding planning he made everything very easy from booking the event to getting exactly what we want on our prints. He also incorporated our wedding colors, big plus!!!
My guests loved the open concept and that we could pile in the booth to take pictures together. The variety of props and costumes were great!
At the wedding, the booth set up and tear down was smooth and organized. There was an attendant the entire time of the event to help the guests with props and prints.
SD Photobooth did a phenomenal job at our wedding. I highly recommend them for weddings or anything else to add some extra special fun to the event.

We used SD Photobooth at a fireman’s retirement party, and It was totally awesome! I discovered SD Photobooth by searching the internet after being lured into a LivingSocial coupon that wasn’t exactly what it said, and would have costed much more than it had advertised. I spoke with Sam, who was so friendly, accommodating, and personable. He worked with me on budget, he customized the photos for the event, and he did this all very professionally and expediently. I would totally use SD Photobooth again!

THIS is the Photo Booth you need to book!!! Here’s why:
First — It’s an open air booth, which in my opinion is waaaaaay more fun than a traditional photo booth. What’s fun about a couple of people in a box behind a curtain? Or more people trying to cram in like sardines? With an open air booth, all the fun is happening out in the open — way more social and energizing for your party.
Second — SAM. He’s great during the phone consult. Working with budget, timing, etc. Here’s where SAM WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND:
Sam: What are your wedding colors?
Me: Purples and gold. I didn’t really see a backdrop that appealed to me on your website. I saw you had a silver… do you have a gold version of that?
Sam: Unfortunately, we don’t. But I’ll tell you what, if you book us, I will get a gold backdrop for your wedding.
AND HE DID! And I LOVED it!

We used this company for our school carnival. They were amazing! They worked around our budget and schedule. They arrived and set up promptly. We had 2 photo booths and they came with great props. It was a no hassle experience. Photos where printed instantly and were high quality. Will use them again!!!

I was attending a wedding at The Hilton Bay front and we had a blast at the photo booth that was set up at the reception. The staff on hand was friendly and didn’t rush us along like other companies hosting a photo-​booth. When I looked them up later I was surprised that it was a small company. I was expecting a large entertainment company from the professionalism that they upheld.
