Scott did a very good job regarding the marketing and sale of my home. He happened to be the second agent that I hired. Right from the get-​go, I noticed a substantial difference in the amount of interest generated that the open houses he held compared to the prior agent. And sure enough, Scott was able to attract an offer shortly after he listed the property. Mr. Booth will be the first real estate professional that I’d call if I am ever in the market for another San Diego coastal property.

Scott was both the seller and the seller’s agent when we purchased our house and he made the Escrow process exceptionally difficult. He was unresponsive to requests for information for days, then would provide only partial information, and threateningly demand immediate responses from the buyer’s (our) agent. He was unprofessional in his interactions and negotiations, tried to unlawfully force us out of escrow, and eventually refused to answer emails or communication from our (buyer’s) agent. The buyer’s agent and their broker planned to report him to his licensing agency because of his unethical behavior during the transaction and we, the buyers, seriously consider (ed) pursuing legal action.
Bottom line: Scott is only the right choice if you’re looking for an aggressive, and hotheaded agent who is willing to be dishonest, walk the line of legalities, not fulfill his professional duties to the level that it puts your real estate transaction at risk.
Also, since this was a house that Scott himself flipped, I can also say that his crew was marginal at best and we, unfortunately, will be fixing their mistakes for many years to come. To name only one example: Termite repairs were not completed as contractually promised because Scott had his crew perform repairs at the last minute and then he would not respond to further communication when repairs were shown to be incomplete. Also, every tradesman that had interactions with him that we spoke with reported that he was verbally abusive and threatening to them. One even swore that he refuses to do business with him now and it makes me wonder about the strength of his professional contacts.
There are lots of good, ethical, and knowledgeable real estate agents in San Diego, choose them and not Scott.

Scott is the kind of guy you meet and can’t help but like right away. He’s friendly, courteous, intelligent, and down-​to-​Earth. But at the same time, he is an experienced, sharp businessman who works incredibly hard and pulls no punches to make sure his clients are getting the best results.
I have worked with Scott on many different types of real estate transactions over the years. He has demonstrated to me that he has the skill set to handle just about anything set in front of him. And I’ve been especially impressed by how quickly and efficiently he handles issues that come up during his escrows. He’s no nonsense when it comes to making sure a problem gets dealt with NOW. And his clients benefit as a result.
If you have the pleasure of doing business with Scott, its likely that he won’t show up in a suit and tie. But don’t underestimate him. He’s the real deal, and he’ll get you real results… which is what REALLY matters.

Scott is a great realtor. He helped me sell a condo last year and was to get multiple offers in the first two weeks and got me a great price. He was able to negotiate a quick close and even did so while we still had a renter in there for another month. I highly recommend Scott if you’re looking for a friendly and professional realtor.

Looking for a home can be very stressful. Scott is extremely hard working yet extremely friendly at the same time.
The market is so competitive and houses can be gone within a couple days of going on the market. Scott learned what my wife and I wanted and if something popped up he get us in there as quick as possible. If we weren’t available he would check out the property himself and report back to us.
I can honestly say that if it weren’t for his hard work and dedication we may not have got the house we did.
We already know that should we look to upgrade to a larger house down the road there will be no hesitation who we call. It will be Scott Booth.
