People before you hire any company to remodel your precious home check the Contractors State licencing Board!!! These guys are CROOKS!!! If you DO check on them in (CSLB) you will see that they have legal action against them!!!

Ziv Hajaj does not care about the quality of his product. Too many mistakes to list: wiring, oven installation, countertop length and height measurements wrong, cabinets wrong, shabby all the way. No follow up, poor invoicing and records, a nightmare to work with these people. There is no oversight of staff and work at all.

All the negative reviews you read here are true! DO NOT use them. I cancelled a job and was promised a refund of my $ 80 deposit. This was way back in AUGUST! I have spoken to 3 people in their office but nothing has been done until now. My latest call was a classic — Zelma asked to put me on hold, then then just cut me off. I immediately called back but no one picks up all of a sudden. (???)

My experience with these clowns is the reason i finally decided to sign up with Unilocal.
I’m «seriously» in the market to make many upgrades to the exterior of my house. As I was searching the net, I signed up for
. Clicked all options of what I wanted to get done. Then only saw 1 company’s name on the list to choose from. Looked at the info, and I was over it and didn’t move any further.
Next morning after 8am, I was in my usual terrible commute and my phone is ringing off the hook from multiple contracting companys. With the first call being from Quality Remodeling. Since I’m so anxious to make moves on my exterior, I scheduled a time (the same night 6pm) for them to give me a quote.
After work, I decided to get some gym time in before the quote. Rushed home (like rushed home) to make it by 6pm. Next thing I know I get a call near 6:30pm from a man named Asher Atias saying he was on the way (said he was at a job site in Carlsbad blah blah blah). I told him why bother since it’s dark, we can’t see anything. He says «I have a flashlight».
Dude (Asher Atias) shows up near 7pm, with a flash light app on his phone. Looks around, then asks to come inside for paperwork? I said yes anyways (since I’m a big dude that can cause damage). He then gives a super high quote (for fascia boards replacement –compared to others) then tries pushing me to get his 10k exterior paint job. I finish the convo with unsigned contracts because he kept pushing the paint work also. He kept preaching more about safety and workers comp insurance, rather then touting the quality of work /​references.
Me being a manager myself, safety comes first (his workers safety talk sold me), so I decided to let him do the fascia work. After a few calls to go over plans and a meet up spot, he always keeps bringing up doing the paint. No matter how many times I’ve told him no, he keeps pushing it. I deny his bs, then he told me the work I want done «would be a hassle if he can’t paint the house also». I just hung up on the clown.
Don’t deal with this place. They need new training to remind them that if the customer wants specific work done, just do the job that’s requested. They ask high prices and only offer a 4yr warranty. They also show no pictures of completed work, or a list of clientele.

This company contacted me after I submitted a request for quotes on HomeAdvisor. We set up a day and time to come to my house for an estimate… The person didn’t show up and I am still waiting for a call to explain why they didn’t come…

Showed up the first time for their appointment. Called and rescheduled for the second appointment. Then, never showed up or called again. Don’t waste your time or energy with these people. FLAKES!

I set up my appointment for them go over what needed to be done in my home. They were 15 min late. I liked the guys that came and we went over all the things that needed to be done. And I walked them through each thing to me done. They seemed like they would be helpful in getting my past contractor, who I fired, to get their bond to pay for the repairs on their shoddy work. I had a good feeling and was happy with the price. I told them I still had one more contractor to get a quote from. 3 days later I called to tell them I was hiring them. They said they would get a contract out for me– I never saw it. The next day I called and I was told I would have a contract sent to me– never came. 3 days later I was told I would have a contract dropped off at my house– never came. The following week I called and asked if they actually wanted new business and I should not have to beg to get a contract and work started. I was told the contract was coming. I called 2 days later to say never mind and so they set up appointment for contract. 2 days later the contract met me at work and instead only had a PARTIAL list of what was discussed and I had to go over entire list again to do the contract to hire them. They also had a hard time finding the price they quoted me
I signed contract on a Friday but they did not know the «start» date for the project and I was told someone would call on Monday to set that up, they never called. I called on Tuesday to ask when they would be starting. I was told someone would call me by noon to arrange this, no one called. On Wednesday I called their office and they said someone would get in touch with me, no one called. Thursday I called to tell them I was going to go with another company and magically I got a call. Told them never mind. Spent 5 minutes explaining time after time to them I was going to hire another contractor who I felt comfy about.
Don’t waste your time. Company either has too many clients or has no service or follow-​up potential. Do you want someone like that working in your home?

Like 1 other reviewer, they would not schedule the survey/​quote unless both my husband & I were home. My husband was at home already, while I went home from work to meet for our 6:00 — 6:30 pm quote. They never showed up. We waited about 1 hour before calling to check the status (in case they were behind schedule or stuck in traffic). We were told by the operator the person was 1 – 2 hours late and that they would contact the tech & call back in 5 minutes with an update. They never called back that day and instead called 7-​days later saying «You weren’t home». The funny thing was, I told them that the job needed to be quoted & completed within a week — yet they sound shocked when I told them that it was already done by another contractor. POOR service and severe lack of responsibility apparently.

Scheduled an appointment for an estimate on a bath repair. First, the guy told us that we had to schedule an appointment time that both my husband and I would be home. He called the day before and asked a lot of questions about how long we owned our home, what other remodel projects had been done and confirmed appointment time for the next afternoon. Then he never called and never showed up. I’m feeling lucky that we didn’t get involved any further with this company.
