PRIMO WAS AMAZING!!! He DJ’d at our wedding and went above and beyond my wife’s and my expectations. At the reception when people were being lame and the dance floor was emptying out he jumped in there and kept the party alive. If we have any reason for a DJ again we are definitely booking PRIMO!

My fiancé and I booked Primo to DJ our «engagement party» back in March at the OceanView at Ballast Point. (our engagement party was actually a surprise wedding, and Primo helped make it flawless!)
Primo made everything so easy. After his phone call with us, we felt a huge weight lifted off of our shoulders. He knew exactly what we were going for, what music/​vibe we wanted throughout the night, how to keep the energy levels up, etc. He showed up plenty early, his set up looked great, and, bottom line: he nailed it! Thanks to Primo and Diane for making our wedding perfect!
P. S. We also rented their photo booth. Everyone loved it! And the memories we have now from that Photo Booth are priceless!

Primo DJ’d our wedding in Point Loma at the Admiral Kidd conference center on the naval base. It was raining during the ceremony and our ceremony was in a covered area outside. The reception was inside. Both the ceremony and reception were on schedule and so memorable. He played all of our requested music and kept the schedule flowing. He got everyone on the dance floor and had them playing the ‘centerpiece’ game which was so fun! He led us in group dancing and made the party a blast. Since he is vetted for access to the military base it made things very easy. We highly recommend Primo DJs.

We booked Primo DJ for our wedding in July and I have nothing but great stuff to say about Diane and Primo. When we first met Diane and Primo, we immediately loved their lively, excited personalities. On top of that, they had all their equipment already setup! We were able to see a live showing of what their packages offered and their unique designs they created specifically for wedding venues. We really loved that Diane was extremely organized and wouldn’t mind when we had to change the wedding schedule a few times. She is an extremely patient and helpful organizer!
When it came to the wedding, we were extremely amazed how many people Primo was able to get on the dance floor. Not only that, they all stayed on the dance floor! Our guests came to us afterwards and commented on how great our DJ was and how engaged Diane and Primo was in catering to not only our music needs, but also to helping out by taking photos! This was a great surprise because we weren’t expecting to see any photos at least until a month or two later from our professional photographer we hired.
The one thing I especially liked was that I didn’t feel like I selected enough songs and based on our song selections, they were able to fill in songs we didn’t select that were dead on to the type of music we enjoyed. The guests also loved the songs that some sang with the songs while they were dancing! Thank you Primo and Diane for both coming out to our wedding! We would recommend the both of you easily if anyone asked for a DJ for any event they cater. Thanks again!

We hired Primo for our July 3, 2015 wedding and could not have been more pleased with our decision. For those of you looking for the perfect DJ/​Emcee that can also do your uplights, GOBO, video montage and photo booth needs, Diane and Primo do it all! We knew instantly from the moment we met them that they were the perfect fit for our big day. Primo’s energy and outgoing attitude had our guests up and dancing all night long. He is extremely professional, easy to work with and always responded to phone calls or e-​mails in a timely manner. Primo made our Big Day absolutely perfect!

We hired Primo DJs for our wedding on 5÷31÷15, after they were recommended to us by our venue, and we could not have been more pleased! After meeting Primo and Diane, we knew right away that it was a perfect fit. Diane’s organization while we were planning made the process a breeze! Primo was able to get all the music that we requested, many of which were quite random, including a song from the Star Wars movies! He even called us a couple days before the wedding to make sure he had the correct pronunciation of the names of our bridal party for the introduction. So awesome!
On the wedding day, everything went perfectly. Before I walked down the aisle, I could hear that the song we chose for the processional was about to end before the bridal party had finished walking, but Primo saved the day and looped it flawlessly! During the reception, he kept our guests engaged, had the dance floor full all night, and played all the songs we had requested.
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use Primo DJs. I would 100% recommend them for anyone looking for a fun, professional, reliable, and reasonably priced DJ service!

We decided to use Primo DJs for our wedding last year, and they were excellent! We needed a bilingual (English/​Spanish) DJ, so they arranged for DJ Raymon to work with us. When we initially met with Diane, she showed us a number of different lighting options, showing that they can accommodate many different needs and styles, but we went with a more basic package.
DJ Raymon did a fantastic job, especially mixing up different styles of music for everyone to enjoy. We had people dancing from the first second the music started until the end. Compared with other DJs, their pricing was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend them.

Primo was the DJ for our wedding on 4÷18÷15. He did a fantastic job. Took care of all the audio work well before the ceremony started. Sound system sounded great both outside for the ceremony and inside for the reception. He kept the party moving and was able to change the music to fit the group as the evening went on. We are truly happy with the job he. Would recommend completely.

Diane was the DJ for our wedding on 2−13−15. She was great. Arrived on time, was professional and made a point to come say hello and let me know she was there. Throughout the night she kept things moving and got everyone up and dancing. She played all our «must have» songs and a bunch of other great stuff. As a bonus she even sent me pictures that she took personally with her camera. I would definitely choose her again if I have any other events. Also the price is right!!!

Primo was the DJ at our wedding. He was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator and he was absolutely fantastic. He and Diane helped get us organized for the reception by working with us to create a schedule. Both he and Diane were extremely responsive and professional during the planning process. Our first dance song wasn’t in his already extensive library, but he was able to obtain it for our dance.
From start to finish, Primo kept our guests engaged the entire night. Most importantly, he was flexible in allowing our guests to make song requests and he even gave some time to our close friend to sing a few songs for us.
We were impressed with the schedule and timing of the reception and we recommend Primo to anyone that is looking for an awesome DJ.

When we all drove up to meet Primo and basically see if he would be a good match to what we were looking for his wife Diane was there to assist Primo. Their a Great team!
She had so many great ideas and suggestions that I hired her to be my coordinator on the spot!
The wedding and reception were a big hit and a BLAST!
They became part of the family.

Primo did an excellent job during our wedding. I’ve seen him work in numerous occasions and I highly suggest his business to everyone considering having a DJ.

If you don’t use Primo as a DJ service, you obviously didn’t want to have a good time.

Diane was the DJ for our wedding and we couldn’t be more thankful.
She was everything we expected from a great DJ and more. She assisted us with coming up with a timeline of events, and kept things moving along so that there was time for everything planned. She was punctual, organized, and she also navigated the music selections well enough to keep EVERYONE on the dance floor the entire night and at times was actively getting people involved in the festivities (not just making shoutouts on the microphone). During the music selection processes, she even had a song/​artist search website where we could electronically submit requests and organize them for the event. Awesome. I give the highest recommendation for them, especially Diane.

DJ Diane was amazing! She did such an awesome job at our wedding! We had a small wedding but the dance floor was packed all night. All of our guests loved her. She also did an amazing job with our ceremony music, as we had some specific song requests to be played at specific times, and she totally nailed it! I totally recommend DJ Diane to everyone, she will get the party started and keep it going! Thank you for an amazing night!

My sister had Primo as the DJ for her wedding in 2011 and he did such a great job, I had to have him do my wedding (July 2013)! He and Diane do a great job of communicating and customizing the DJ/​music experience to your liking. Primo was excellent at keeping the party going smoothly. He also took some photos and videos at the wedding and sent them over right away! This was nice since you don’t always get to see many photos until the photographer gets them to you however many weeks after the wedding! He and Diane also have many options for lighting and other entertainment options. Primo came very early to the venue in order to set up as he had two sound systems to set up: one for the outdoor ceremony, and then one for the indoor reception. This definitely made the transition from outside to inside very smooth! I definitely recommend Primo and Diane for your DJ party needs!

In 2008, I attended a wedding where Primo was the DJ and I was so impressed with him, I swore that if I ever got married, I would track him down and book my wedding according to his availability.
I got engaged in May 2012 and DJ Primo was the first vendor I sought after and booked immediately. My husband and I were married on July 14, 2013 and Primo did not let us down. All of our guests were raving about him. He was entertaining, he kept the party going, and he efficiently took cues from us and our guests when it was time to change up the music. He did everything we asked him to, from cutting certain songs short (the father-​daughter and mother-​song songs were really long) to dedicating songs to my husband’s 90-​year old grandparents. He played our video montage on his projector and everything turned out perfect!
Our guests were most impressed with how involved he was with our wedding. His centerpiece game got everyone up and going, and some of our guests told us they had never seen people having so much fun at a wedding before. Primo topped it off with his skateboarding performance, which everyone loved and cheered on. At the end of the night, several people asked us for his contact information for their events.
Thank you again Primo, for putting on such an amazing show, and thank you Diane, for working with us throughout the year to ensure that our day would turn out flawless. You guys definitely made our special day exceptionally memorable!
The only caveat I’ll add is that if they recommend a lady named Yvonne for a wedding coordinator, DO NOT take that advice. Contact me privately for more info on that.

Here we are almost 3 months after our wedding and we are still hearing…“We had so much fun at your wedding!”…“we haven’t danced like that in years!”…“your wedding was a great time!”…and so on, and so on, and so on…
We hear that people remember two things about a wedding, 1) the food, and 2) how much fun they had. We’re so happy we found Diane of Primo DJs! From the day we met her to discuss our wedding to the day of our wedding she was GREAT! We very much recommend Primo DJs for any event needing music and entertainment. We hired Primo DJ’s for our Mom’s surprise 70^th birthday party. Diane was our DJ. She was incredible. Not only was the music great, upbeat and appropriate for the age of the guests — but she was extremely well organized and coordinated beautifully with our venue, caterers, event timing, and photographer.
As you can imagine, getting a party of 70-​year-​olds going after dinner can be a bit challenging — but she had several tricks up her sleeve to get everyone on the dance floor. She even led several of the ‘line’ dances and taught us a new one! She really made the party extra special and we’ve received scores of emails from guests that rave about how much fun they had dancing and how it was an incredibly wonderful party.
To top it off — we did all the coordination with Primo over the phone/​email as both my brother and I live up in San Francisco. This typically isn’t ideal — as last year we remotely hired a DJ in Montréal Canada to do a party for our family reunion. That DJ was terrible — he was late, was dressed in a white t-​shirt and jeans, played weird music, there were long gaps between songs, and even tried to ‘win’ some of the prizes that we had for our family. I can say that if you hire Primo you will not have these problems. Primo was affordable, professional, responsive, easy to work with and they made the party absolutely delightful.

Diane DJ’d my wedding on 10÷10÷09, and she was fantastic. I consistently heard from my guests afterward that we had a great DJ. Mind you, the wedding was smallish (55 guests) and not exactly a dancing crowd but she got things moving and flowing. She knew when to change things up and emcee’d all night.
Neither my groom nor I have been married before and we’ve never hired a DJ before this experience. Shopping around, cost was a consideration. There are definitely cheaper DJ’s available but we went with her because of her experience, professionalism, and she seems to really love her job. Anyway, she was worth every cent, and we gave her a tip at the end of the evening. If I have another event (10 year anniversary maybe?) where I need I need a DJ, I know exactly where to go.
