Gerry is the nicest guy; so courteous, friendly and polite. He was able to come out with less than 24hrs notice on a Sunday to clean our two bedrooms. He did an amazing job, cleaned up a few stains, and gave us some useful tips for on-​going maintenance. The carpets were clean, but above all, five stars for the exceptional customer service. Gerry did an amazing job on our travertine floors. He cleaned and sealed them. He’s very professional and friendly. He responded quickly to all inquires and has great customer service. He even spent extra time trying to scrub the extra dirty spots, which I truly appreciate. It’s nice to find someone who truly enjoys what they do. I’ll definitely will be calling Gerry again!

Gerry is the kind of guy who makes you want to get your floors dirty just so he can come back to your house. He is kind, funny and most of all honest.
We moved into our house six years ago and had never had our white tile cleaned professionally. Needless to say it was not in good shape. Gerry got back to me quickly, quoted me a very fair price and was available within a day to come out. He worked on our floors for about five hours. He had me look at the floors with him when they were done and made me promise to call him if I wasn’t satisfied. When my boys left footprints all over the still drying sealant, he offered to come back right away to fix it. The floors look so great, many people have commented on them. I only wish I had taken before and after pictures!
It’s a big deal to have people in your home you don’t know, and I can honestly say I felt incredibly comfortable with Gerry from the minute he walked in. He does great work and is someone you can trust. I recommend him 100%.

We had Gerry come out to clean our wood and tile flooring. Our housekeeper had been using Mop N Glow on them and they had a ton of dirty, waxy build-​up. My husband is a double leg amputee so having sanitary floors is a huge deal for us because sometimes he moves through the house on his hands.
Gerry was easy to schedule with and very professional. When he arrived at our home he looked around and let me know that he would do his best. When Gerry was about half way done with our living room, my Marine husband commented that the floor looked brand new. I think he stared at the flooring for an hour last night.
Gerry is personable with a big huge smile and so funny! It was nice having him at our home and my hubby enjoyed watching him do the floors and swapping military stories.
Not only do our floors look amazing but we found our floor cleaning person for life!

Gerry and the service he provides is 100% awesome. He’s a super funny guy who loves to talk with a great personality, which goes a long way with me.
Being someone who always prefers to give my hard-​earned money to small business, I got in touch with him here on Unilocal because the nasty VCT floor in my bike shop needed some love and he responded right away, setting up an appointment for only a few days later. He showed up right on time, rolled up his sleeves and immediately got to work scrubbing the scuffs and embedded dirt from the floor, which ended up looking 10X better even before applying any of the glossy top coat.
After one coat, the floor looked amazing. After the second coat, it were stunning. We were actually afraid to walk on the floor afterward, it looked so good! After waiting a few hours to move our stuff back in just to be safe, we quickly realized the floor was just as durable as it is shiny. Our shop looks much, much better now.
We’ll definitely be calling Gerry if we need repeat service.

What a gem of a company! And Gerry is fantastic. When I first called to inquire about pricing, etc., he was extremely helpful describing exactly how he was going to treat our ceramic floor. When it came to coordinating times, he was flexible and worked around my work schedule. Then, he transformed our ceramic tile floors! We hadn’t cleaned it in years (other than the occasional swifter swifting) and I knew it was time to do a deep cleaning. Gerry worked during an abnormally hot day and worked through the evening to get about 600sq ft of dirty tiles clean. The pricing was more than reasonable and Gerry was an all-​around nice guy who I would recommend to anyone. He even went above and beyond with an extra mop-​down of the floor with water because I have a sloppy dog who thinks his job is to lick the floor 24⁄7. He was worried about lingering cleaning product and offered (after he had been working already for hours!) to do the extra mop. The floors look excellent. Thanks so much Gerry!

Long story short, Gerry is THE MAN.
He definitely worked his magic on our floor. He’s detail-​oriented both on the phone and in person — he gets as much information on your flooring situation before he comes in. Professional, punctual, and good-​hearted. As soon as he walked in, he briefed us on what was gonna go down and then he went straight to work. Gerry did a really good job on our laminate floors and area rugs. It was hard because the floors had a «film» of orange glow floor cleaning on them, but Gerry was able to strip the floors and give them that fresh, clean look again. He is very detail oriented and takes pride in his work. Plan to use him yearly for our floor cleaning!

Preferred Services will give you a very personal experience. Gerry himself answers your call and takes your info easily over the phone to book an appointment. After discussing what I needed done, the square footage of the area, and our availability, I was booked.
Gerry came by just as scheduled and immediately assessed the work to be done. I’m having him clean my hardwood floors to prep a move in. These floors are very old and are showing their age. Gerry went right to work. After a couple hours time, the floors were definitely cleaned, looking the best it possibly could given its age. Gerry himself is a great guy: friendly and professional, and honest. The price charged was much lower than expected and I’d definitely go with Preferred Services again!

I thought I was going to have to replace my laminate floors in my new home. I had been in my home for about 7 – 8 months, and I wanted to restore that «new floor shine.» I tried several cleaning products from Walmart that left the floor a hazy mess. Then I tried using ammonia and water to remove the haze, and it left my floor looking even worse. I found Gerry on Unilocal and the rest of his customers raved about him, so I decided to give him a try. I’m glad I did, because the floor that I feared I’d destroyed for good and would have to replace, now have that «new floor shine» again! Gerry helped move the furniture, taped off sensitive areas, and got to work.
I also like that it’s a true small business! When you call the number, Gerry answers the phone personally, and Gerry shows up to do the work.

We’ve just closed escrow on an older ’72 home and the prior tenants, who are the dirtiest renters ever BTW, had left the hardwood floors dirty, scratched up, and dull. On top of that, for the past month, we’ve had our fireplace replaced, stairs redone, and painters come in. So, the floors have taken a real beating and were coated in a thick layer of drywall and dirt and dust.
So I found Gerry on Unilocal and asked him to come by, clean the hardwood and seal it in preparation for our move-​in. We’ve got a 3 and 4-​year-​old, so I didn’t want any weird chemicals on the floors, but we did want a family-​tolerant floor, as much as hardwood can be.
So the hubby let Gerry and his son in, they did their thing, and when I stopped by after work, the floors were sparkling clean. I know — I walked around barefoot upstairs and down to be sure.
Gerry and his son did excellent work and punctual, reliable and honest! We’ll definitely be calling him again when our toddlers, well, do what they do best.
