This week we purchased carpet for our bedroom at Sid’s Carpet Barn. George helped us find just what we had been looking for and within our budget. The carpet was installed just a couple days later. The installers were on time and very professional. The carpet looks great. We really appreciated the customer service we received from George. If you’re looking for floors or carpet make sure to make a visit to Sid’s Carpet Barn in San Marcos and asked for George.

We worked with Barbara at Sid’s Carpet Barn and she helped guide us through a sea of floor choices that we found ourselves swimming in after visiting a few other stores. Our floors are installed and we couldn’t be happier with the result! I highly recommend Sid’s Carpet Barn and Barbara is the best!

After getting the run around from Home Depot, we decided to give Sid’s a try. We went on a weekday afternoon just before they closed and talked to Joe. He was very helpful and we were able to pick a carpet that they had in stock and setup an install date. They called the next day and said they could install it early if we wanted. We did that and 2 days after picking out the carpet, it was installed. The installers were very professional and did a great job removing the old carpet and installing the new. They were careful not to run the new baseboards we had just installed and were very quick. We saved a couple hundred bucks with Sid’s and are happy with their customer service, speed and quality.

Had an awesome experience with our carpet purchase and install. Needed carpet right away as Home Depot had wasted our time. I went in and found the perfect carpet, was helped and quoted a price right away, and install the next morning! The install guys were great. They even took out all the other carpet in rooms we were going to put hardwood floors in at no charge! They were super fast and efficient. Definitely will recommend!

Unbelievably bad customer service!
We had ordered tile from these guys and when it came it was the wrong color! they even admitted that the number on the sample was wrong and did not match the actual tiles we bought. However my installer (an independent contractor) had lost a whole day due to this issue and charged me for his time. When I asked Sids to help me out with the charge from contractor Sid’s could not care less! They basically said it was my contractor it was my problem. and they wanted nothing to do with my problem that was totally created by them! So I cancelled the order and also canceled a $ 3000.00 order of wood I had with them and they happily credited my account and told me they did not care for my business!
As others have written they are not the cheapest and with such poor customer service why would you trade with them? I will tell you I will probably go back to the Home Depot we had things done by them and they were great!
