His price was fair and his installer was available to start a few days later. We hit a minor snag and picked out a dark engineered wood that ended up being discontinued. Mona called me right away to let me know and suggested a color that was one shade lighter. My husband was able to compare the two in person and we went with it. Overall we were very happy with Click On Floors and absolutely LOVE our new floors!

We recently purchased a townhouse which had no floors. So we needed wood floors quickly before moving in. Clickonfloors not only did the job fast but also with nice quality.
They also helped us choosing the type of wood floor which meets our needs (we have a dog and needed something durable and doesn’t show scratch marks).
Price was reasonable, too.
Most importantly, one of the owners, Eric, is very knowledgable. Indeed, he helped us find a structural issue with a condo we were considering purchasing earlier. If he had not pointed out the issue, we would have purchased the condo.

One of the worst experiences I am having this time. Last year when I installed it was a pleasant experience completed in 2 days. This year when I did multiple areas the experience is horrible and close to losing sane. They have not completed the work for 10 days. The installer guy is a complete fraud. He keeps saying the laminate is broken and it has to be shipped from LA. I still think LA is 120 miles north of San Diego. I am not sure why it is taking 10 days. And these guys are very clever. They take the money as deposit to order laminate but these get broken laminate it seems and they don’t check. Don’t TRUST these guys. Stay away from them. Never let a installer called Will inside the house. He will not finish the job at all.

Friendly and a fair price, everything was great. The schedule got dragged out a bit. The carpet and tile man was outstanding, I would not hesitate to ask Will back anytime. Props to ya will. Really friendly staff and they addressed any and all concerns promptly. The end result is five stars for look, 3.5 stars for installation. I did not like that someone on their team messed with my coi fish, but the work was excellent. Overall I would use them again for sure on the next house.

I love, love, love my new wood floors. I can’t express how satisfied I am with this company. From the moment I walked into the store, I was given top notch service. Eric was very informative during his estimate, answering all my questions and giving me a tentative schedule if how long the work would take. After getting 3 other quotes, I found myself favoring Click on Floors, but I wanted a different wood found at another company’s store. I asked COF if they could get the same wood for about the same price offered by the other company and they said «yes». I was so happy with the new estimate because it was more affordable. When the work began, Jose and his crew of 2 others were fantastic. They did a fabulous job! There was 1 thing I was unhappy about, but Jose returned and replaced it. Satisfaction! I highly recommend this company. Their service is reliable and professional.

In early 2015 my wife and I decided that the time had finally come to replace the cheap laminate, old tile and carpet in our home. In total, we had about 1700 square feet to cover. Our first stop was ClickOnFloors. Mona and Andrea were friendly, helpful and informative and helped us to understand the pros and cons of hardwood vs laminate. In comparing prices, we realized that hardwood would not be THAT much more expensive than laminate. Eric came by to give us a quote for both the hardwood and laminate options. He was thorough and his price was good.
We spent the next six weeks or so exploring flooring stores all over San Diego. We visited six or seven different places (some of them multiple times) and got quotes from most of them. We brought countless flooring samples home to see how they looked. In the end, after comparing product prices, product quality and install prices, ClickOnFloors had the best balance of cost and quality, so we decided to go with them.
As soon as we moved most of our furniture and belongings out of the house, Ryan and the install team got right to work. In all, to remove all of our various flooring, install the beautiful new flooring and baseboards and reface our fireplace, they took about a week. Along the way, Ryan made sure to point out and fix any problem areas, answered my many questions and worked tirelessly so that we could move back into our home as soon as possible. Despite the quick pace, the high quality of the work was very impressive.
The finished product is awesome! The floor (Acacia Natural), baseboards and fireplace all look fantastic and are high quality. We’re very happy with how everything turned out and would absolutely recommend ClickOnFloors!

Incredible service, wonderful pricing, and totally professional speedy installation on all counts. Love these people and was happy to refer them to someone who needed their services as well! Great pricing. Looked at many other places on the same street, and no one even came close to matching their pricing. So far, so good.

This review is long pending. We bought a home three months ago and although very well maintained it had carpet every where (even in the bathroom!!) and before we even stepped in we knew that the carpet had to go. We contacted a couple of places for their quotes. The first place gave us a quote and were very honest in letting us know that they would charge us for their energy costs! Nope not happening. The next place sent in their cigarette smoking doped up duo to measure and give us a quote. Nope not happening again. Then we found ClickonFloors, such a great place, such decent folk and the BEST price! Eric (A true gentleman) came in and gave us a quote which was at least 20% less than the other flooring places we visited. We got engineered hard wood floors (on sale, what a steal!) throughout the house and got our bathrooms and kitchen and fireplace tiled to an amazing effect (Pls check the pictures). The hardwood floors were installed by Solomon (awesome person!) who did a fantastic job and is so great to work with. The tiling was done by Jim who came up with a great design and all of the work was completed within 10 days as we had requested. Mona (and another very nice person, sorry I did not catch your name) were sooo helpful. In addition Eric even gave us some very essential and useful landscaping tips, free of charge of course. On the whole, the experience with ClickOnFloors has been really great.

Very knowledgable and I was greeted as soon as i walked in. i thought service was great but the selection was lacking. Not a lot of inventory compare to other stores I went to.

Eric was really accommodating in coming out and giving me an estimate as well as bringing plenty of samples and giving good recommendations. They carpeted the same two bedrooms for about half the price that Cole’s charged me just year ago. The installer was really polite and easy going. He didn’t even complain when I had to show the unit to prospective tenants while they were installing the new carpet. Very happy.

Click on Floors absolutely delivered on all of those aspects I expected to get from a big store and did not. From the moment I stepped into their shop on Miramar Rd. my entire experience with their team was above and beyond expectations. Andrea was was very good at advising me in the store and then when Eric came over our home to show us samples and give us an estimate he was very upfront, knowledgeable and reassuring. Doing business with them based on the staff I had met and the value presented to me at that point was a no-​brainer and hadn’t even yet met their talented installation team yet.
Here’s the thing… during a process like this the shopper will have several people to deal with along the way. It is the job of a salesperson or store owner to be pleasant and convincing to get you to shake hands and make a deal but they’re not the ones actually doing the work. So if I could have you take anything away from this review it’s the fact that Colby and his team (the guys actually doing the job) are really really awesome at what they do. They are a MACHINE. It would have probably taken them two days to execute my job (aprox. 650 sq. feet) but it rained so we agreed on a third day to finish and clean up. All they needed from me was to save them time by getting all the small stuff out of the way and they were on their way. Big piece furniture was not a problem they would finish one side of a room and shuffle things as needed. They were also very friendly and honest as far as what they’re status was during the job and when they were done they were a big help in putting back some large items were they should go and putting felt pads underneath the legs of those things that might scratch the amazing floor they just installed.
Generally I don’t participate in online reviews but Unilocal is how I found these guys and I hope that echoing the positive sentiment shared here will help the next reluctant potential floor shopper to make the right decision. If you go with Click on Floors you will have found great value and an even better experience. Thanks guys!

A really great find on Unilocal.I had distressed laminate, color russet olive for $ 3274.97 plus paid for 3 extra boxes just in case I need it for repairs I had it installed in my 1 bedroom Plaza condo in pacific beach condo and I am thrilled the way it came out.
Andrea was my salesgirl who was very helpful as well as JJ the installer. Eric and Mona, the owners were great as well.

Just paid $ 3900 to have all of my downstairs carpet replaced with BEAUTIFUL hardwood flooring. I was originally going to go with laminate because I thought that was all we would be able to afford, but the really nice lady at the store showed us some beautiful hardwood options that we could afford. Eric came to our house and did the estimates and recommended a beautiful hardwood and Salomon came in and did the installation.
Salomon and his son were the two nicest people ever and did a fantastic job. He even installed new baseboards and did molding around my fireplace so that everything looked very professional. Can’t recommend these people enough!

When I made the decision to take the carpet out of my home I went on the hunt for a flooring company that was reputable, fair priced and had honest people. I went to 3 different places based off Unilocal reviews from San Marcos down to San Diego. Clickonfloors was my first stop where I got to meet Mona. A few days later Eric came to my house to measure our home and bring the samples to see them in my home. I had mentioned that I was looking to get the two bed rooms down stairs tiled and Eric said he could help me with that as well. While Eric was there he gave me a quote based off the wood and an estimate on the tile (I have tile all downstairs that he had to match and check pricing on). A few days later, I was sent an updated estimate from Andrea with a lower price on the tile and a final quote. At this point I went to two other places and not one came close to the quality or price. I went back several times while Andrea was in the office, she helped me get questions address with the quality of wood I really liked and going with a Hickory wood. With 3 kids and 3 dogs I wanted to make a wise investment… She was VERY helpful and I had enjoyed my interactions with each one of them so we continued with Clickonfloors. Eric called me promptly and scheduled the installation team to come do the install. The day before I got a phone call from Colby confirming the arrival time, great communication and a great guy! Colby, Jordan and Matt were such a pleasure to have in our home for the week long job. Each day they showed up on time, each night they gave us updates and they finished before schedule. This installation team is a very hard working group– Thank you Colby, Jordan and Matt!
Overall, from start to finish and no matter who we dealt with Eric and Mona are doing a great job with their business by providing best in class customer service at a fair price as well as partnering with the right installation group to round out their business so customers like me have a great experience.

Our friend recommended click on floors to us because she was very happy with the laminate floors that she got. We are also happy customers of click on floors.
When we were trying to decide between laminate or engineered hardwood, Mona was very helpful in the showroom, listening to our needs for our floor and recommending different styles and colors. Because we were remodeling a lot of things, we changed our minds quite a bit between the type and colors, but Mona and Eric were very flexible and let us change things until we were ready to proceed. They also work with Bedrosians and can help with getting a discount (we needed some tile for our kitchen and we also got some material for our fireplace).
Eric came out to do the measuring and also brought some samples for us to see the wood in our home, this gave us a better idea of how it’d look given the amount of lighting in each home is different. In the end, we chose to go with engineered hardwood in the flintlock color. We chose to go with the Delano carpet in kangaroo color and we chose a gray/​cream tile for our kitchen from Bedrosians as well as the amber gold for the fireplace. We are so happy with everything that we purchased.
Colby and Jordan installed all the hardwood and carpets for us and they did a fabulous job. Matt did the tile work in the kitchen. They were punctual, they were polite, and they were careful and thoughtful with their work. I like that they worked well together as well as with the other contractors we had in the house doing work on the kitchen. Colby communicated well with us giving us updates almost every day and was reachable through phone. They stuck to the timeline and finished on time, and during the final walk through they fixed up the little things that I pointed out.
We liked click on floors because they were friendly and knowledgeable about the work. They have good recommendations and good prices for quality work. They were easy to work with throughout the entire process. We also like that they have a financing solution through GE, so we could split up the payments over time which helps us when budgeting. Great customer service!

My husband discovered Click on Floors (CoF) via Unilocal reviews and local business research. He met with the owner and his wife (Eric and Mona), and felt that they were pleasant to work with and that the prices were competitive. When I had the fortune of meeting them both, I found they were earnest, hard working folks, who understood their craft and their business. I am a huge fan of small businesses run by a family so they definitely get thumbs up for their business. That said, there were some issues encountered (discussed below) that may be common to smaller businesses. I want to stress that this is a positive review. Ultimately, we LOVE the final product received. Everyone comments on the final result with high praise. We are definitely happy with the final result. All in all I would say it was a pleasure working with them.
Through Click on Floors we had both upstairs, stairway, downstairs, walkway, kitchen and fireplace refacing addressed. We recently purchased our home that required quite a bit of work to make it our own. It’s our first home, so there was much to learn about the remodeling we desired.
The initial consult is done through the business owner (the husband). I was not present at the consult but my husband definitely enjoyed speaking with him and learning about our options. Due to this pleasant encounter, we opted to continue with CoF for the various phases.
Once you settle the contract, CoF sends out separate contractors to do different aspects of the construction. My biggest quirk about this (perhaps it is due to my lack of knowledge regarding home construction but this was a little bit of a surprise to me) is that it caused much difficulty with scheduling. At one point, for example, there was failure to communicate who needed to be on-​site or if one contractor needed more time to complete the work, thereby delaying the next phase. This was a bit aggravating for me — who is very keen on scheduling. (I was also very eager to unpack boxes in the house. Woman’s need to nest. shrug.)
At Phase One, we addressed carpet upstairs and on the stairs. A very nice gentleman and his son came out to handle the demo and the installation. There were a couple of hiccups when they moved our furniture (damaged the walls a bit) but they were kind enough to make efforts to repair anything damaged. There was one point of miscommunication during this phase regarding the baseboards (the owner called and apologized). It took two guys after carpet was done to finish baseboards upstairs. Once carpet and baseboards were completed: I will stress that despite the hiccup in scheduling and communication, the product was AMAZING. They were very detail oriented (another one of my quirks) and ensured that no corner was left unattended.
At Phase Two, we addressed the hardwood floors. Again, there were issues regarding scheduling. There was a bit of a delay due to the backorder on the wood, but ultimately the floors were completed and they looked great.
At Phase Three, we addressed the tile in the kitchen and the walkway, along with the fireplace. There were two guys that came out to address this and they were SUPER detail oriented. They were probably my favorite of the bunch. Even the smallest little triangle of tile was laid down and they really did a wonderful job. Again, a moment of miscommunication (they were unaware that the tile was supposed to be at a diagonal), but they quickly resolved it by just doing it exactly as we wanted. Tile looked great all around. It’s my favorite aspect of the construction work. One quick thing to note about picking out anything that isn’t wood (e.g. tile). Click on Floors will send you to a nearby business/​warehouse called Bedrosians. They have a great selection at this business, but it can make for a headache. We had to go back and forth from CoF to Bedrosians to finally settle on the appropriate tile and refacing tile. What I did appreciate was finally after 4 – 5 visits to the wretched-​but-​wonderful Bedrosians, CoF sent one of their guys to join us on the hunt to settle on the tiles needed.
Ultimately, as mentioned before, I absolutely love the final product we received. Our home is a completely different place (much better) with lush carpet, gorgeous walkway, hardwood floors, kitchen tiles, and a refaced fireplace. This was the biggest positive. The cutest couple running the family business also earns another positive for being a family run shop. The biggest negative was scheduling and internal communication — but ultimately everything resolved itself and always in our favor.
If you are flexible in scheduling for remodel and perhaps a bit less neurotic than I am, and if you’re looking for great final product from a wonderful local business, CoF is the place to call. I do recommend them for their work. It was detail oriented, fair in costs, and just great to enjoy every day. Good overall experience.

Clickon floors is the best! I went into their location to look at laminate floors, and Eric convinced me to get wood because they have such good prices. I’m so glad they did. We just love the wood floors.
Colby did the install and I couldn’t be more impressed with him. He and his crew went the extra mile smoothing out our subfloors and fixing the multiple squeeky floorboards and unevenness upstairs too. He really loves what he does and it shows. The end result was fantastic.
I won’t hesitate to hire them again when we have the money to do work on the stairs. I only wish they did tile too.

Mona greeted us in their showroom on a busy weekend day, and was graciously handling all of her customers equally.
We made our selections as we browsed their showroom, and penciled in a home estimate for Eric to come out and measure. He was timely, efficient and prompt, and I appreciated that he brought multiple samples to choose from.
We wrote the check that afternoon, and are eagerly awaiting our fabulous delivery so my husband can try out his handyman skills and install our flooring.
However, I must say that Eric & Mona offer incredible pricing for installation, very budget friendly and competitive for their quality of service.
Don’t over pay or bother visiting any other locations for your flooring needs!
