Business Owner

Linda Pasas is a native San Diegan who has been in the real estate industry for over 25 years. She has an insider’s knowledge of the entire region, with a special emphasis on the Point Loma/​Ocean Beach area of San Diego. Linda Pasas owns and operates Pasas Properties, Pasas Property Management and partners on Smart International Investing.

She has personally sold over 1,650 homes. One of her passions is assisting first time home buyers achieve their dream. She becomes a consultant as she guides them on the home buying journey, giving them support and knowledge so that they become more experienced and confident buyers.

To follow-​up from the response from Linda at Pasas, I would like to note that I repeatedly contacted Lauren at Pasas by both email and text, asking if anything additional was needed in the application. She never responded. She could have easily responded that more financial documentation was needed, but she did not respond at all. If Pasas prides themselves on customer service, they should complete due diligence and respond to prospective tenants/​applicants. I can only imagine how responsive they are once they have you locked into a lease agreement.
Believe me, I am quite happy that I did not sign a lease with Pasas. I am not upset about my application being «denied». The only plus about the home in question was the view from one of the living room windows, the rest of the home was outdated, old, and the layout was illogical.

when I first moved to SD I was lucky enough to work with Linda and her crew. They knew SD inside & out and helped with finding me a great rental. Now that the owner is selling the home I’m in, they are helping me with purchasing a place of my own. Local knowledge and great service!

I was very frustrated as I tried to rent a home with Pasas and they did not respond to my inquiries in a timely fashion… in reality they did not respond at all and consequently the home was rented to another person.
In addition, they tried to tell me that as a renter I would be responsible for replacing the washer/​dryer should they break during the lease, and then I would be responsible for purchasing a new washer/​dryer and at the end of my lease, these items would remain at the home and I would not be able to take them with me. So let me get this straight… I move-​in and there’s old washer/​dryer already in the home… who knows how long they will last… and then when they break, I have to pay for a new set and won’t be able to take these with me when I leave? That’s insane and illegal. No thanks, Pasas.

Part of the reason why we chose our rental property was because of Pasas’ stellar reputation here on Unilocal,and we can see why! We have only had positive experiences with the rental managers of Pasas. They are always quick to respond to questions and quick to respond to maintenance requests. An added bonus is that we can pay our rent online! Great job.

One of the many reasons we decided to move to SD three years ago was because of Ocean Beach. I fell in love with the place immediately!
