Mathnasium Point Loma

The first 2 quizzes my daughter had after just 2 weeks here resulted in A+, 100%. She’s in 6^th grade advance math.

So far, so good. My daughter loves this place. She shrieks with excitement everytime I tell her we are going there. Who knew math could be such a thrill for a 6-​going-​on-​7-​year-​old. She says she wants to go there until she is a teenager! Of course, our goal is that she goes there now, so she won’t have to way before she is a teenager. We will let you know how that works out in later reviews. ;).

I love this math sanctuary!!! I take my 8 year old son here twice a week for tutoring and it’s helping him so much. Mathnasium is located in Point Loma. When you walk in you are greeted by friendly tutors, there are drawings of math problems working out on the walls and tables to add character to the décor.
Mathnasium starts your child/​teen with an assesment test to see where they’re at in their math capabilities. Judging the results Mathnasium provides a work binder suited for the math level your child/​teen has tested into. The tutors use the hour constructively and work on math from their specialized binder or assignments they may have from school.
The great thing about Mathnasium is they offer kids incentives upon completing their work. They offer prizes and gift cards! At the end of the Math session Christian my son’s math tutor plays a game of egyptian war. My son loves this and is always excited to go to tutoring there. We are blessed to have found out about this establishment. Glenn the director and his wife are very sweet; they are tutors there as well and have provided kids teens and adults a wonderful positive resource here in San Diego. I would reccomend this business to any parent who would like to watch their kids excell at math in a positive enviornment!

Way to go Mathnasium! My son has struggled with math for years and was very behind. He started going to Mathnasium in Point Loma and recently received a 100% on a math test. He really loves going to Mathnasium. He likes it so much he begs to go, even when he isn’t feeling well. The staff there are all awesome. I want to publicly applaud Mathnasium, thank you Mr. Glenn for being a shining star in a dark sky. Much gratitude! What would we have done with out you? If your child struggles with math, have no fear, they too can be helped at Mathnasium in Point Loma! A+++

Mathnasium is amazing! My daughter is not a fan of math, but once she started attending it became easier for her. Homework is so much smoother in our house now! In fact, one day I forgot to check the schedule and when we arrived, the office was closed. She was sooo disappointed. It was really nice to see her sad to not be doing math. Mathnasium makes it fun!
