I DJed a wedding that Brit + her crew shot a few months ago. Not only were they super professional, easy to coordinate with, and on top of things during the wedding, but I just saw the gallery of wedding images and – BAM – wow! Brit has a great eye and definitely looks for «moments» to capture… not just checking off a list of «must have» shots. Her pics speak for themselves — just breath-​taking! Highly recommended :-)

I can’t gush enough over how fantastic Brit Jaye photography is! Brit was our photographer for our engagement session and wedding day and I must say she was our #1 favorite vendor! From the moment we met her she was so warm, welcoming, friendly and sweet! I instantly felt like she was a friend, rather than a vendor and she made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She is so knowledgeable and skilled with photography which made everything so easy! She is super responsive and answered all my emails promptly and thoroughly. She is very accommodating and met with us a couple times at a coffee shop nearby our home to go over all of our questions and every single detail.
We did the engagement session in Balboa Park and what we thought at first might be an awkward day (we’ve never taken professional photos together before) turned out to be so much fun and such a breeze! She has the best suggestions and the photos are just out of this world! Gorgeous! On the wedding day, I knew she had everything covered and she captured all of the big moments from getting ready, to the ceremony and reception, down to the littlest of details with all of the décor and the venue itself. I am truly in love with how everything turned out and this is only 2 weeks out from our wedding where she has already shared so many previews on her blog! Can’t wait to get all of the final photos!
I can’t thank Brit enough! Highly recommend to any bride and groom looking to capture the magic of their wedding day. She and her team are incredibly professional and I can’t thank her enough for all that she’s done! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Oh my gosh I love Brit! She has 5 star ratings for a reason people!
She shot my 4÷18÷15 wedding and was amazing! She was punctual (her assistant even came early by accident and just decided to help set up! What a great guy!) and rolled with the punches. She had her ideas of what she wanted and anything I wanted to do, she didn’t even hesitate! We had a family emergency at the wedding which threw everything into chaos, but nothing phased her at all. She did our engagement session too and same thing; she was funny, did all the shots I wanted to do, professional, and punctual!
I seriously could go on and on! To top it all off, of course the pictures came out AMAZING!

Brit shot our engagement photos and wedding over the past 7 months, and she is amazing! She makes every experience so much fun and so comfortable! I am not usually very comfortable in front of a camera, and she just makes it so easy. She is the best photographer in San Diego, hands down.
It hasn’t even been 3 weeks since my wedding, and I have already received the edited images! With the engagement shoot, I think it was less than a week!

Just had my engagement photos done by Brit this past weekend and it was an amazing experience! We will be using her for our wedding day photography as well.
Brit is so sweet and easy to work with. Both my fiancé and I have never had our photos taken together professionally so we were both quite nervous. Brit made us feel so comfortable and we had such a great time.
I haven’t gotten our photos back yet but I already know they will come out amazing! I will definitely post some once I get them back. She is so great with time frames, as I had let her know we would need the photos quickly to send out save the dates and she said it would not be a problem for her. I can tell she did research on our venue, as well as the engagement photo spots before we got there!
And on top of everything else, you could tell she genuinely cares about her clients and shows interest in them and who they are as people, a couple, and what brought them together. Brit’s quality, price, & customer service do not disappoint. I have done tons of research on other photographers and I chose Brit before even meeting her because of her quick responses, genuine interest, her style, and the price fit the bill!

I don’t know where to even begin! When we first met her she was just amazing. She knew her stuff and had lots of samples of her work to show us. She has an amazing personality and always smiling. We got an engagement session with our wedding package and it was amazing. We felt so awkward to have photos taken of us but she made us feel very comfortable and it was a breeze. She had our photos done really fast and we used them for our save the dates. she met with us before the wedding so we can go through everything we wanted to be done at the wedding. We made a timeline and a check list together. The day of the wedding she was right on it. She completed everything we asked for. She blended right in and it was not so obvious we had a photographer. I have seen weddings where they are right in your face taking pictures and she was not like that. She was very polite and if she had an idea for a shoot she would ask us if she could pull us a side for a quick picture. I honestly am so glad we picked her! She literally is awesome! and 2 months after the wedding she sent us a little surprise in the mail. More then what we expected! You also get a locked album online with a password were you can share with friends and family to see all the pictures she took, wish is incredible awesome to have to show out of state family that could not attend the wedding!

AMAZING! Brit is an absolutely amazing photographer! My husband and I feel so lucky to have found such a talented photographer with such a lovely personality and at a great cost. I came across Brit’s info on Craigslist and when I went to her website I knew she had talent. When we met in person she was so easy to talk yet still very professional. We did an engagement photo session at Balboa Park in San Diego and Brit knew exactly where to go, she gave guidance on how to pose that felt natural and relaxed –it was actually a lot of fun! Between the engagement session and wedding, Brit was great about communicating in preparation for the big day, she returned emails in a timely manner and eased any concerns that a nervous bride to be could have. On the day of, Brit and her assistant arrived right on time and went right to work photographing! They got great shots of the accessories, decorations, the family, the venue, everything! People are still telling me what a charming photographer I had! Before we were even home from the honeymoon, Brit had completed the blog — it looked amazing! Within less than a month we were sent all the photos which we were extremely pleased with — she captured all the amazing moments beautifully. Just last week we received a little package in the mail with a sweet congratulations note, Hersey kisses and a cute wood usb drive with our photos on it — what a classy touch! Brit is truly talented, is very professional and is a genuinely lovely person — HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My fiancée and I met with Brit earlier today and we signed the contract to have her as our photographer for our special day next year. Although our engagement shoot will not take place until next month, I just had to write this raving review about her.
Brit is such a genuine and personable individual who started her business a couple years ago when she moved to San Diego. I fell in love with her photographic style and the three of us (me, her, and my fiancée) got along so well. Brit has a keen ability of making you and your sig-​o feel so comfortable with her. I felt like we already knew her! She is also AFFORDABLE and provides you with edited high resolution images… that’s huge.
I’m also way too organized for my own good and I’m glad I didn’t scare her off, lol. I can already tell she is going to be so fun and easy to work with. I can’t wait to eventually see the beautiful work she will create from our wedding.

Brit was absolutely THE BEST. We booked her for a very last minute engagement photo shoot and she not only accommodated our quick (to be honest — unreasonable) schedule, but she far surpassed all our expectations. We knew she would be good, but we had no idea she would be this good! She is a talented and professional photographer which is evident by her images, but beyond that — she is the type of person you just like to be around and she makes you feel comfortable in a really fun way. She’s directive without being pushy and takes the time to make sure you are getting the shots you want. We left feeling like we had a great time, confident in the shots we got with Brit. I loved working with her and plan on referring her to many of my friends in the future!

When I called to see if the photos were ready — I was told ‘not YET.’ [first time I called I don’t know I was getting mixed up with another customer?] I asked when… I was told I would get a call back — Never did.
Once I received the photos they were somewhat blurry — just a few.
Did I hire a professional? NOT.

My husband and I recently celebrated our three year anniversary and I surprised him with a photo session to re-​create some of our wedding photos and commemorate our three years together. Brit Jaye photography is awesome! She responded to my inquiry almost immediately and was flexible with scheduling to fit our arrival to SD (we flew in from Denver). We got our pictures yesterday (very quick turn around time!) and there are definitely more that a dozen very frame-​able photos… I have so many favorites!
Once meeting Brit it is very obvious how much she loves what she does and we now have the awesome photographs to prove it! Her pricing is very reasonable… highly recommended!

My husband and I had the good fortune of booking Brit for both our engagement shots as well as our wedding and words cannot express how pleased we are with both outcomes.
Our engagement session captured our individual personalities and the essence of our connection and we had a great time with Brit. Neither one of us is model material but with Brits suggestions and magic lens my husband and I looked amazing (if I do say so myself)! She is super easy to get along with and her staging suggestions never left us feeling awkward or forced.
At our wedding Brit was a calming and reassuring presence. She was so complimentary and made me feel like I was the most gorgeous bride with the best wedding in the whole world. She takes so much pride in her work and obviously enjoys what she does. It shows in her photographs.

My husband and I decided to get married downtown at the courthouse with about a month’s notice. I assumed I would find a «photographer» and not a Photographer. I poked around craigslist and went to Britt’s portfolio. I was really entraced with her style, it felt so casual and intimate, exactly what I had envisioned. I was over the moon when she had our date available. I felt so lucky!
She showed up, immediately put my Very Shy Husband at ease, and shot from a distance during the ceremony. Afterward, we shot a few pictures on the lawn and then went across the street to get some photos in front of the sea with the boats in the background.
Britt is friendly and laid back, very calming, but make no mistake, this photographer is a PRO. She came up with great ideas very quickly, and none of the pictures
looked staged or formal at all. She has a great eye and great technical skills. Our pictures turned around very quickly and her prices were very reasonable.
I still can’t believe our luck at finding her! Don’t pass her up!

All I can say is Brit is awesome! We are so happy we found her! We got married on a Hornblower Yacht, and although they had some recommended photographers, we just didn’t feel a connection with them. But when we met Brit, we could tell what a passion she had for photographing weddings and how genuinely excited she was about our own wedding. She was incredibly professional, and she even went to check out where the boats docked before hand and how the lighting would be at night. On the day of the wedding, she was prompt, and even had an assistant with her. She got right to work capturing all the little details of me, and I felt relaxed knowing she was getting everything. And most importantly, our photos were so beautiful! I couldn’t recommend Brit Jaye Photography enough!

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Brit is super professional, friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. Her prices are super reasonable and she takes the most gorgeous pictures.
We eloped from Michigan and she was wonderful in her communication. I’m sure I was a bit of a bridezilla trying to organize everything from so far away but she was always super helpful and calming. I found her on Craig’s list and then went to her website. I was blown away by the quality of her pictures. She made our day absolutely amazing. I would recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful, high quality pictures of an important day.

Brit Jaye Photography is amazing! I found Brittany among many craigslist ads for wedding photography. We weren’t going to even get a professional photographer, but decided to with only a few months to spare. Brittany is a warm and kind person. She gives you that aura when you meet her. She met with me and my fiancé at a local coffee shop and went over all of the details. She covered everything and immediately made us feel comfortable. Brittany was open to ideas and understanding of our personal circumstances. She offered to spend time with us on the day of the wedding during prep through to the reception. I just saw the first pics of our wedding on her blog and I am BLOWN AWAY! They capture our intimate and romantic mexican wedding BEAUTIFULLY!!! Brittany is a wonderful and talented woman and you would be lucky to snag her to take your photos. She is creative and non intrusive. She caught many candid and unplanned photos that capture every detail of our special day! Don’t hesitate to hire her because you will be overjoyed with the results. Call her now!!! :)

I came across Brittany while planning for a last minute wedding. With 30 days to plan, I was nervous that I would get stuck a photographer who didn’t know what he or she was doing. This was NOT the case with Brittany. I really cannot think of enough nice things to say about her. She was professional, friendly and so amazing to work with! She showed up early, took pictures of every little detail, and was happy to take on every request I threw her way! Not only that, she was probably the most calming and peaceful part of my wedding. She handled all of the different personalities so well and took photos that embraced who we were. Her photos were absolutley beautiful! I also got my photos back within a couple of weeks. That is unheard of with normal wedding photographers! I couldn’t ask for a better wedding day photographer and cannot wait to work with her again.

I stumbled upon Brittany out of sheer luck when my fiancé and I were trying to find a quality and affordable photographer for our engagement photos. Not only was she responsive and professional, but when we got our photos taken, she made us feel really comfortable and my fiancé and I shared one of the best experiences together! (And he’s your typical guy who was NOT looking forward to spending an hour getting his photo taken!) Brittany didn’t put us in awkward poses and she really captured some candid shots that neither of us even realized she took until we got the proofs back.
I have already received so many great compliments on our photos and they were perfect for our save the dates and our wedding website! I highly recommend Brittany and her work to anyone. book this girl now before someone else does, she won’t be under the radar for very long! :)
