AMAZING! I found BZM Studio on Unilocal.Beata answered on the first try and was so sweet and accommodating. It was a spur of the moment thing and I wanted to set up an hour photo shoot the day of. She was able to do it the same day 2 – 3 hours after my phone call and we were able to pick the perfect place in Del Mar at Powerhouse to do the photoshoot. She took many pictures and made it convenient to pay and get us the pictures the same day. The pictures turned out amazing and she was able to capture so much love and happiness. She was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process and I can’t wait to use her again!

I had all my buddies from the east coast fly out for spring break, I was looking for a local photographer here in the Del Mar area! I was scrolling through Unilocal and found BZM photography, Beata was wonderful and the experience shooting the photos was so much fun! Captured so many great photos with my buddies and I’d recommend BZM photography to anyone!

I just received our family photos from our session with Beata and couldn’t be happier. Not only was Beata able to get incredible shots on the beach with perfect sunset lighting, she was also able to get my 3 month old daughter to look at the camera and smile!
Aside from quality pictures, Beata was a delight to work with. She was incredibly prompt (we had proofs to look at in less than 24 hrs after the photo shoot!), and she even touched up a picture for us ahead of time so we could send out holiday cards. I highly recommend her!

I found Beata on Unilocal and feel so lucky to have found her so I wanted to write a post so others might benefit from her talent too.
Shortly before a family trip to San Diego, we decided we’d like to get family photos taken while at the beach. Beata was so quick to respond to my inquiry and willing to fit us into her schedule during Thanksgiving week though we knew a last minute request might be a long shot.
Our photo shoot was so much fun and Beata is so easy to work with. The time flew by and though we hadn’t met her before the shoot, Beata quickly got a sense for our family and was able to capture the essence of our family beautifully.
I have four children so getting a good family photo with 6 people is no easy task and once we got our proofs (that night) there were so many wonderful family, sibling and individual pictures to choose from we were just thrilled.
Beata is extremely talented, very responsive, and easy to work with, I would highly recommend her.

Working with Beata was such a joy. She was incredibly patient and kind and worked her butt off to produce the final product exactly as I envisioned it.
I was looking for someone to take some head shots as part of a memorial project for my mother who passed away. Her prices were very affordable. Additionally, she is very skilled in photoshop and worked her magic to change the background, change the lighting, change the tone… she’s great! She is extremely flexible, offering wedding and baby packages as well. She also has great attention to detail, picking out little things to really enhance the photo.
If you are looking for someone who truly cares about her customers, give Beata a shout. I drove 45 minutes for her services. She is extremely passionate about what she does. The next time I am in need of professional photography, I will be calling her again. She is highly recommended for her outstanding work.

Beata was referred to us for our wedding. Once we met — perfect match! She has been professional and prepared throughout the process. First off, I would like to say that I never write reviews for anything, ever, but I had to for Beata. I was completely and utterly shocked by how good of a job she did and how she went above and beyond for us. (If you read nothing else, read the third to last paragraph.) My fiancé and I are overjoyed with our engagement pictures, and I feel SO lucky to have found her to take them. I can’t say enough good things about her, and if you’re thinking about contacting her, do it. Really.
So, on to the review…
I first emailed Beata on May 10 (about 13 months before our planned wedding date) about an engagement session and wedding photos. She emailed us back promptly (even though she was in the middle of an emergency evacuation due to the fires) and answered all of our questions professionally. I wanted someone who was talented and experienced, and my fiancé was most interested in getting someone who was easygoing and amiable. He’s been to way more weddings than I have, and he says he’s seen photographers yelling at or otherwise being rude to the guests. Definitely not what we wanted.
But anyway, we met Beata for coffee, and we knew pretty much immediately that we wanted to have her for the wedding and engagement session. She is so easygoing and generally just a joy to be around. So we made an appointment for the engagement photos for the next week at Torrey Pines and the Meditation Gardens.
The next week rolled around, and she showed up early with Tomasz, her assistant and (unbeknownst to us at the time) a professional videographer. (I’m sure you can figure out why he was there with that last bit of info, but we didn’t think anything of it.) We trekked around TP and the meditation gardens. It’s actually surprisingly tiring getting your picture taken! Another bonus of Beata being personable is that she’s easy to work with. She made it really fun!
Anyway, I was very pleased with the preview of the pictures that she sent us (again, very promptly), and we were so ecstatic with the pictures after we got them. She edited them quickly, AND they looked perfect.
Oh, and in one of her emails to us, she included a link to a «surprise.» I saw it was to a video website and thought, «No. There is no way she could possibly be this awesome of a photographer.» But she is, you guys. She SURPRISED US by ***SENDING US A VIDEO OF OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION***. Who does that?! You could read through every review of every photographer in San Diego (which I pretty much did while doing wedding research) and not find that. I’ve never even HEARD of that happening to anyone. It was amazing. We are so over the moon. I got to send it to everyone, and they were overjoyed too. My sister CRIED after watching this video. That’s how good it was. Amazing.
I am so thankful and I feel so fortunate to have picked Beata. A surprise AND stunningly beautiful pictures. It doesn’t get better than that. And personally, I think the photos are one of the most important parts of the wedding. Once they’re done, they’re done. You can’t re-​do them or fix them at the last minute, and they’re the best way to remember the wedding. So, it was really important to me to pick someone that I could trust to do a great job, and Beata is PERFECT. She is amazingly talented and very personable and hardworking, so if you get the chance to work with her, take it.

She really provided an artistic view for all the sessions she did and was such a pleasure. She is professional, sweet, talented and funny. As good as I thought! Beata did an outstanding job with my newborn. The session was fun and easy for my baby. Beata captured all those precious moments that we were looking for. Beata is the best photographer you can have for your wedding, photos of your new baby or engagement etc.
She took a great pictures for my friend’s new baby. As an auntie I had a few pics with a baby as well. Beata is very professional, pleasure to work with and I think everyone just loves her fun personality. She will make your photo session a lot of fun!

I so badly needed new head shots. I know Beata from Zumba class and asked her if she could take my pictures. I checked out her portfolio, and they looked fine to me, but the telling is in the photographs I want! So… we met and she took photos and by the next day, I was getting more calls for auditions than I had had in six months! So… yes, Beatta is a great photographer, catches the person and personality and I highly recommend her.

Beata really helped make my wedding experience wonderful! I got married two months ago and she was the photographer at the ceremony and at the reception party.

Beata is one of the top photographers in the San Francisco. We were so fortunate to have her as our photographer for our last two conferences! One conference was held in Redwood City and the other in San Francisco. Beata really listened to what kind of photos that we are interested in having taken. We were impressed with the quality and level of skill that she displayed.

I have used Beata Pevny’s photography services on six occasions, for both personal and business bookings. She is great. Beata is prompt, detail oriented, and professional. As a real estate broker, I have used Beata to shoot still shots of the interior and exterior of homes. This sounds like easy work, but I’ve used mainy photographers over the years, and it takes a talented shooter, with high quality equipment to make these shots look good. Beata does just that.
In addition, I have used Beata to shoot some private parties I’ve thrown over the years. It can be hard to shoot guests at a party without making them feel self-​conscious or shy. Why Beata… I worked with Beata on my advertisement project which had to be done last minute. Lots of pressure, it was a whole page ad to place in SF Weekly paper within just a day. One can only imagine the pressure a photographer has to deal with in this situation

Beata Pevny is a great wedding photographer! She photographed both my engagement and my wedding in 2008 and was amazing! The engagement photos were done in San Francisco, where we live, and our wedding was up at Lake Tahoe.
