Audio Tint Proz

I’ve been calling to schedule an appointment for over a week. No one has ever answered the phone there! What’s up with that?! Are they still in business?

This place went out of business and the new owner is t taking responsibility for the cheap defective system rommy installed in my mercedes. Does anyone have any contact info for them because the number listed is no longer their number.

I used the Amazon Local deal for the $ 99 tint. I was very satisfied with the service and the result of the tinting. I went from no tint to 20% tint and it looks awesome! I also paid $ 40 extra to get a lifetime warranty on the tint. It’s been almost two weeks now and I’m still stoked on how it looks.

I highly recommend Audio Tint Proz. I had taken my 2006 BMW to Tint World to have an iPod adapter installed. After two failed attempts and damage to my interior, the shop manager tells me he has no idea on how to install the unit on a BMW and says, «just tell me what to do and I’ll do it». Well, I wanted him to correctly install the adapter, but to his own admission he did not know how.
So I asked around and got two great references for Audio Tint Proz. I took the car in with the adapter partially installed. I explained what I wanted to the owner of the shop. Simply put, an hour later I had my car back all buttoned up with a very clean install. For me, super easy, no drama, no haggle, no run around. Just competent adults who want to make their customers happy.
So I highly recommend and would certainly go back myself.

Kami is the best. Always honest about products, prices and advice. Best tint and audio work. I’ve done three 7 series BMW’s and an escalade with kami and all came out show quality.

I can’t tell you how many times I drove by this place when I worked down the street from here thinking I should get work done on my car here because I had heard nothing but great things about them & after having purchased a bmw that only had back tint, what better reason could there be?
If you’re looking for a good window tint place, look no further than here! I got my front two windows done & was out in less than an hour with a flawless job complete! They are also very competitively priced & I have absolutely no complaints!
I’ll definitely be coming back to get my amp & subwoofers installed soon! :0)

Giving this place a 4… initially I thought i would have to give them 2 or maybe a 3 because I felt a little shadiness, but after I got my car back, the tint job made the BIMMER look alot sexxier. even with the groupon from Amazon, 99 bucks, so in total.150 bucks (50 to remove old «tint») for 250 or $ 300 job. it was a great deal… just make sure you take all the tint out… even the factory or you will get charged… I never knew there was tint… annnnny film, but… hey, I was there, so I can’t say, but good job either way, so I would recommend them.

I was THISCLOSE to buying the $ 99 tint deal from ReaderCity this morning but after reading one too many reviews that clearly describe it as a bait and switch from this company I am staying away and am willing to pay full price with a more reputable company. Thanks Unilocal for saving me that hassle.

PIMPED MY RIDE! Okay, maybe not, but these guys definitely hooked me up as far as my car stereo goes. The replacement of the stock system is amazing, and the sound is super clear and thumping. Everything was done quickly and cleanly and the guys who worked on it talked me through the whole process. (I am NOT a technical genius, to say the least.)
No matter what car you have or what you want to have hooked up, these are the guys to go to; I am extremely happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone who wants to get a great stereo hookup!

Really love the audio system installed by Audio Tint Proz. The showroom is very well presented and put together and I was helped almost immediately after entering the store despite the fact I could tell that the employees were in a casual meeting with a Polk Audio representative. I was looking for a bluetooth device that I could use to make calls and possibly listen to music off my iPhone. He asked about the style of phone I had and then presented me with several options based on my budget. First option, Bluetooth integration on my OEM system… I asked about systems that would work well in my 2006 CRV (with a larger stereo unit… I didn’t want a smaller unit that didn’t fit perfectly in the large OEM dash slot)… He showed me two really cool 7 inch units that fit well, and even recommended the cheaper of the two because it worked better with iPhones specifically… Unlike most audio places, I wasn’t continuously nickel and dimed, the price was presented right off the back before any installation took place.
I decided to wait in the show room with an estimated time of 2 hours. I went and got lunch and by the time I got back I waited about 15 more minutes (under estimated time) and the car was done! The unit had a microphone position above the driver seat, the iPhone cord was exactly where I wanted it placed, and the unit looked beautiful. The installation tech and the gentleman who sold me the unit gave me a tour of all the features and I was sent on my way.
I looked up the prices when I got home for the unit they put in and the online price (ebay, amazon) was on average about 70 – 100 dollars more than the tag price at the shop!!! I felt like I got a great deal and the perfect system for me. On top of it all, they also guaranteed the installation and told me to come back anytime if I had questions about the unit.

You can never find a better, more reliable and professional place for audio service/​installation and window tinting. I had used their service for three cars (window tinting, navigation installation, subwoofer installation, stereo installation, …) and I am very very satisfied with all they have done. specially if you own a high-​end ride like a Lamborghini, Maserati, Bentley or alike this is the place to go because these guys are perfectionists.

I wish I could give zero stars. I’ve debated for about a year now if I should post a review or not because when I think of the awful service I received, it infuriates me. I’ll make it short and simple — don’t waste your time with these guys. They tinted my SUV, there were bubbles. They did say they’d re-​tint the bubbling windows, but there were still bubbles. I came back and the guy running the shop tried to start s*it with me in the parking lot. The guy was yelling and cussing at me. Very unprofessional. When I brought up the damage they did to my Chargers sticker on my back window they denied it. I mean come on, unless there is some random sticker cutting criminal running around Mission Valley, it was them. Anyway, I’ve rambled on enough. Bottom line, take your car to Auto Glass of SD down the street from this place. They’ll take care of you & give you real customer service.

Wow — I love this. Pathological liars getting caught up in their own lies. This is the first time you’ve admitted to cutting my Chargers sticker!!! In fact, you vehemently denied cutting it at all. You told me you even asked your tint installer and he said he would have NEVER had a reason to cut a sticker on the outside of the window. So at least you’re finally admitting that. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.
As for the tint… You did, re-​do some of the bubbling tint on the tailgate window. You were the one that couldn’t (or wouldn’t) admit there was bubbling on the rear side windows. You said that «sometimes small particles get trapped in between the film & glass». If there were no bubbling, I wouldn’t have had a problem with the darkness. The only reason I requested a different level shade was because they needed to be re-​done anyway. At a certain point with you yelling & cursing at me in front of my wife outside of your shop, I gave up seeing as though there was no reasoning with you. To be clear, I never said you were «unprofessional thieves»…although, as you can see from my review and MANY others, that is indeed what you’ve turned out to be. If you in fact gave such great customer service for the past 24 years, you wouldn’t have such a plethora of awful reviews just like mine.

This one star isn’t in regards to the quality of the work done on my window tint. This is for, what I feel, was an Amazon Deal scam. I purchased a deal for $ 99 to tint my windows. Prior to purchasing the deal I call to make sure they tint all window except for the windshield and he said yes. When I went to make my appointment I wanted to confirm that they do all the windows and he said no, only the back 5. After going back and forth with him, he gave me a quote of $ 80 more to do the front 2 windows. I went along with it. Then he called me back and said because of the car I had, it would be more work, and would be $ 140 more! I said forget it! Just do the back. So my boyfriend take the car in to get tinted then calls to to tell me that the voucher covers basic tint with a 1 year warranty only. If we want the good tint with a 5 year warranty, it would be $ 90 more! I would never go back here!!! My $ 99 deal (valued at $ 250) would have went up to $ 329 had I done all the windows (like they promised during my first call). I noticed they have a deal on Unilocal for the same thing. I would not purchase that deal and go somewhere else where they don’t play games with their pricing and hidden fees!

I recently had a car stereo installed here and I’m very happy with everything.
They guys there are nice, friendly, honest, quick and very reasonable with cost.
I plan on coming back soon to get my windows tinted.

I hated the navigation unit in my Aviator. Always wanted the new pandora, IPOD and othe gadgets for the car. These guys really knew everything about my car. Told me what would sound good and get me up and running. The pioneer unit they put in looks great. I love listening to my Pandora wirelessly, and listening to my IPOD. They also put a back up camera and I love it. These guys rock and are very reasonable. No BS upselling or cheap work here. thanks again guys!

Years ago I bought my sister a gift certificate to get her windows tinted here and they did a great job. Recently, I decided to get the windows tinted on my car and I also left very pleased. The service was nice, the price was right and my windows look great!

When I say «hide my wires but DON’T drill into my dash,» I expect someone to hide the wires and not drill into my dash. When I got my car back, what did they do? Drill into my freaking dash. I want to maintain resale on my car and can’t do that when I have a hole in it.
*sigh* so, anyways, when I went back to say «hey, you drilled in my dash, and you put a screw in my iPod mount, so it doesn’t work,» the dbag guy at the front counter with a bluetooth in his ear gave me a bunch of «hey bro, hey bro» shove offs. Completely unprofessional. He belongs at PB bar and grill with other guys in trucker hats and dickies shorts.
He also told me (and charged me) he installed things to block the low pass from my door speakers, well when I took my car to my trusted stereo shop back home they found that there wasn’t any.
My stereo shop back home, when they checked it out, asked me who did all the hack job wiring and how horrible everything looked, and I told them «oh, this little shop in San Diego.» Their exact words, «I’m sorry man, but they obviously didn’t know what they were doing, it looks horrible. In fact, the only thing that looks good is the box they made.»
Save yourself. And when you don’t want them to drill in your dash, hold them by the collar and speak slowly so they’ll understand. Even then, maybe they wont…

This review is strictly for the window tinting.
For a birthday gift my dad bought me window tint for my car, but the only thing was that i had to go Audio Proz, which i had no problem with because it was a gift. I did do some shopping around just to compare prices and for my car the average price to tint my windows was $ 225. Audio Proz charged us $ 300. For that price i knew it would be perfect.
The job took about an hour which is normal for the number of windows on my car, and for the first 3 days my windows looked great. After 4 days my front two windows pealed all the way around. i went back and they fixed it, but they were sure i rolled the windows down before i was supposed to, which i didnt. About a month later i noticed my rear hatch window had a bunch of little silver specs all over. i looked closely and it was dust and hairs that had been trapped between the window and the tint. Now they do give you a life time warranty as long as there’s no physical damage, but i don’t think this quality of work was worth $ 300

What can I say about Audio Proz… lets see:
Ive been going to these guys for years, Ive sent my family, friends and co workers there… and I have never had or heard a complaint.
These guys are perfectionists, they treat you like family and your car like its their own. They have tinted 2 toyota corolla’s for me, Intalled power windows in one. They put a system in my Ford Ranger truck for me Double din navigation system, speakers all around, amp & Sub under the seat, alarm and tint. And last but not least they did an amazing job on my BMW 530i, Sub woofer, amp, dvd, navi, capacitor all in a custom enclosure, DVD in the headrest’s and sun visor, tinted the windows, smoked the lights you name it they did it. Everything has worked since day one, the work is done so clean that it looks like original factory work. Everything is lined up correctly, tint has never bubbled and if I ever have an issue they are glad to help. These guys; Cammy, Dennis and Fernando stand by their work and take pride in doing it right the FIRST time.
Take it from a Unilocaler who doesnt usually give 5 stars, dont trust your car with anyone but these guys.

These guys were super nice to me. This was back in December when I was trying to sell my older Civic. The stereo had been stolen and I had been riding around with a new stereo just kind of sitting in a big, gaping hole… I had bought the new stereo and to save money I bought the wiring harness and housing unit that the stereo is supposed to sit in and was planning to put it all together myself… well, I got all the wiring done with no problems at all but I didnt realize until later that I guess you have to take off the whole dashboard panel thing to install it correctly. I explained the situation to them and showed them that I had all the parts I just needed them to put it all together for me. They only charged me a small fee for the labor and it took less than an hour.
Heads up though, during certain hours of the day Mission Gorge can be really busy… this shop is not too far from the freeway and a bunch of street lights so be careful pulling in and out.
