Executive Window Tint

I had what I thought was a good experience initially when utilizing Executive Auto Tint to do my 2015 Subaru WRX back in August 2014. Tint looked great and still does. Flash forward to March 2015 and my wife wants her Windows tinted.
So I call Executive again and leave a voice mail. Next day, I do the same. Three days later I do the same understanding people get overwhelmed and busy. So I send an email to the same email that sent me my invoice previously so I know that it’s valid. No response. Ever. I call again in April once while calling other places trying to find the best for my money. So yesterday (May 20^th) I call and someone actually answers. They tell me they don’t have an open appointments, which didn’t matter because I wasn’t trying to get them tinted RFN. I asked if he had availability in following days and he asked me to call back in the morning because he didn’t know the schedule. How do you schedule an appointment for the future if you don’t know your own schedule?!? So I call this morning, and same voice-​mail as before. Okay, cool. I appreciate the way you appreciate return customers. So much so, that I’m going to appreciate someone else’s business now. The work was legit and I can’t complain so it is sad to see that the company lives up to the bad reviews that I had once ignored.

If you are looking for good customer service and professionalism, go somewhere else! I received the window tinting as a Christmas gift so it had been paid in full. They advertise they go to where you are at however they are near impossible to get a hold of. After days of calling and leaving messages I able to set an appointment. They didn’t show up. I called back and got told they had cancelled it and said they would call me back. I never got a call back. It’s been over a week and they haven’t responded to any of my voicemails. Guess a refund is in order.

These guys were recommended to me by an auto detailer. I was told they were on Angie’s List but didn’t see anything other than the company info. I called and scheduled an appointment to have both of our cars done the next day (Saturday) at 10 AM. I decided to research them. Read all the Unilocal reviews and then saw their F rating from the BBB. I called around 4 PM on the same day to cancel my appointment for the next day (Saturday). I ended up leaving a voice mail and then left them another voice mail early on Saturday morning. Shortly after 10, I received a call wanting to confirm the appointment for 11 AM on Saturday. Two voice mails ignored and they couldn’t even get the time right. We went with SD Tint and are very happy with the work and service.

Hired Reuben early in March of 2013 before there were any Unilocal reviews, and I REGRET IT completely. Ironically, same story as all the other 1-​star reviews.
I got all 7 windows tinted and the work was done at my job location. Tint job looked good initially but started noticing many bubbles and trapped lint on the edges of almost all the windows, and down the middle of the rear windshield. I waited 2 months and bubbles never went away. I tried to contact Reuben but no answer, so I let it go for now.
Fast forward to September 2014, my front driver window starts to peel and is getting worse. It takes me 5 days to get a hold of Reuben to schedule an appointment. Appointment date comes and guess what? No show, no call, no nothing. 7 days later I finally get a hold of him and some excuse is given about his installer should’ve contacted me. So, 2^nd appointment date set and guess what? No show, no call, no nothing… again! And he will not pick up or return calls. So now I’m going to have to take my car elsewhere to get it re-​tinted.
Tint job was ehh, and customer service is practically non-​existent. I would encourage you to look elsewhere for a more reputable and reliable tint shop. They are strictly mobile and one of his excuses for the bubbles/​lint was because the car was out in the sun. lol! You know what they say: «you get what you pay for»

Terrible job. Terrible window tint. Go somewhere that has a store and can prove to you that they know what they’re doing. Ruben’s Executive Window Tint service is a joke. He’ll charge you cash, under the table so he’s not paying taxes. You’ll end up paying much more cause you’ll need to take your car somewhere else to get your car’s crappy window tint taken off and better stuff put on.
What kind of a loser gives you a lifetime warranty than makes an appointment with you and blows you off, then won’t answer your calls. Pathetic! The guy should go to college and learn how a real business operates. Read his other reviews; it’s the same story again and again.

I hired Reuben based on a recommendation from Kearny Mesa Infiniti (who are no longer referring him). When Reuben arrived at my house I told him I did NOT want «super dark» tint. He showed me a sample and I was able to see the interior of my car through the sample. After an hour and a half my car windows were limo black, if that’s not super dark I don’t know what is. He also stained the interior roof of my car and caused water damage when putting the tint on. After multiple not returned phone calls I finally got a hold of Rueben and he agreed to fix my tint at 5:30PM the next day. 5:30PM came and went and no Reuben.
I called around to get quotes to fix my tint. All the reputable businesses know about this guy because they clean up his messes. I also found out that his «lifetime warranty» is bullsh*t. 1) What good is a lifetime warranty if the low-​life doesn’t return your phone calls and 2) a reputable business will give you a FREE lifetime warranty for the tint not the business so in case he goes out of business (which I hope happens soon) or you move you will always be able to get the tint repaired.
Please, learn from my mistake. Spend the extra $ 100 and go to someone reputable.

Made an appointment. Did not show. Did not return messages until I begged not to next hanging.

please stay away from this place if you value your car. He did a horrible job on my car. He scratched my window and cut off some part of the rubber from my side windows. When I talked Reuben… yup that’s his name, he gave a sarcastic smurk and belittled me. I am taking action against his false advertising. He operate without a license and have no scrupulous. Beware!

Film looks great and installation was perfect. Installer was highly professional and his work was second to none.
Highly recommend these guys.

Had my windows tinted on my new smartcar fortwo at a great price and even better service! I went with 35% all around to be on the safe side, and a sun strip on the front. The whole process took only an hour and a half, and they came to my apartment and did it. Im loving the look it has added to my car. Will definitely be recommending Executive to my friends in the future. Im glad i shopped around, and went with these guys. they made this kinda stressful decision way easier and me a happy customer in the end.
