We just had our new Kinetico water softener system installed and also filtered water system in our kitchen. Darren did our entire installation and was very professional & courteous. Darren was absolutely outstanding. He even buffed the copper pipping. We have not seen such professionalism with an installation project in decades. We appreciate your work.

If you are looking for someone to service your water filtering system or sell you one for that matter — go no further «Allstar» is exactly what it means. Great service people that have the right parts and finish on time. Leaving everything clean and ready to go. Again, if you want the best ask for Randy!

I had the RO water filtration system installed by Art this week. He was courteous, efficient and friendly. So far so good! I’m loving the quality of my drinking water.

I used AllStar based on a friend’s recommendation. They came on a Friday and serviced our under the sink Reverse Osmosis system. By Saturday we realized that the water was running through the tank and draining non-​stop. I called their 24 hour service number and they had me do a few things to stop the water from running but it didn’t work. They scheduled a repair call for the next week, all this time water running. The service guy came and fixed the problem and said «Oh this happens a lot. This part (the defective part) is very fragile and breaks easily. It should have been replaced at the initial service call». Then, he presented me with a bill for the part and a service call. I said that I didn’t think I should have to pay for the service call, just the part. He agreed to talk to the office. After a few phone calls back and forth, they refused to dropped the charge for the service call and I ended up paying for two service calls when the second one was to fix the problem the first one created.

Purchased and had installed a Kinetico soft water system and an RO water purification water system AllStar. Scheduling and service were timely. Art, who superbly installed the equipment, was very professional and attentive to customer needs. I would not hesitate to use AllStar and Art in the future.

They came in to replace my water filters. He got it done quickly, He was personable and he didn’t leave a mess.

Representative was on time and professional. Great service with our drinking water filtration system.

I’m sold on Kinetico soft water systems — I had one in my old house, and it worked like a dream. This review is about Allstar. I didn’t get the name of my tech (sorry! but I think it was Dan) but he was great. Kept me informed during the whole process, worked quickly and efficiently and when he was done he took me to the unit and explained what to expect and how it all worked.
He told me he treats his customer’s installs like he would his own home, and it showed. The system is very neatly set up.
He was so professional and a great representation of this company.

Very happy with our new hot and cold water system. First we had technician Art come and install the single cold water spout, he was very professional quick and a very nice guy. A week or two later I found out that we could have 2 spout hot and cold water so I called to see if I could change it. Technician Eugene came over two days later and changed our cold to hot and cold. We love our fresh water, and both guys were great.

We had a new Kintetico water softener/​filtration system installed today by Joe Aguilera. I can’t review the system yet since we’ve only had it for like 10 minutes, but I had to get online right away to tell you how awesome Joe has been.
Joe showed up on time and immediately impressed us with his professionalism and courtesy. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with where and how the system would be installed. He answered all of our questions and even showed us the details of how the system worked. We was extremely careful to ensure that everything was kept safe and clean, and he left our home cleaner and better than he found it. We have had A LOT of work done on our house in the past several months, and Joe has been, by far, THE ABSOLUTE BEST worker we have had in our home.
We’ve been with Allstar for almost 15 years now, and I highly recommend them. And if the company allows requests for installers/​tech, ask for Joe!

ZERO Stars !! I have never been so shocked disappointed and disgusted with any business. There is no and I mean NONE, zero, zip customer service I spent over $ 4,000 to have Kinetco’s water softer and water purifying system put in. This company has the exclusive right to sell Kinetico, which may or may not be a good product. You will not receive any follow up calls or help if you have problems. The sales rep for my area an older man who repeats over and over how the system runs great in other locations or how much more the system costs in another town. Those are his reposes to your issues. If you call for any kind of help you will wait weeks and weeks and then you will have to call to follow up. Allstar’s Plumber punched a huge hole in the outside wall and then suggested to my contractor that he should patch it up. I told Jerry (Allstars sales rep here in Palm Springs) that it was the plumbers job to repair the cracks and hole in the wall. I got the biggest, sloppiest job I have even seen in home repair. I ordered a water purifier and in addition I had a mineral cartridge added. They waited two weeks between time they installed the unit and actually turned it on. Allstar’s plumber who lives two blocks from my house was too busy to come back and finish the job in a timely manner After two weeks of pure white chalky water and begging the sales rep to come out to the house it was agreed they would send their expert. Tom arrived in another two weeks and today it has been exactly fifteen days since he as been here. When I called Brady in service she apologized and said she thought it was all taken care of At this point no matter what the out come is I would highly recommend you find another product or dealer If you like follow up and customer service you will not find that at Allstar Water Systems I I will be following up with the BBB and Angie’s list to warn others

All-​Star Water Systems has been providing great service to me and my home reverse osmosis system for many years. Their technicians stay with the company and get to know you and your home. After our system appeared to need servicing sooner than expected, the All Star tech recommended we get our water regulator replaced– it turned out our home didn’t even have one, and the water pressure varied too much, causing the RO system to fail too soon. We have since had a water regulator installed, which has been good for both the RO system and all of theother things that are attached to the plumbing systems of the house (including making our sprinkler system more efficient). I didn’t even know what I didn’t know. Thank you, All Star!

It took longer than I would have liked to get a technician out to the house, but once there, he was great. Very efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Great company and customer service. The pricing is great and they have always been quick to fix any issues that arised and handled repairs correctly the first time. The techs are professional and friendly and explain what they are doing. I definitely recommend working with them!

Honestly, I’m a bit surprised by the couple of bad reviews I have seen here. I have worked with Allstar Water Systems over the years and have generally been very pleased with their service and responsiveness. I have a Kinetico water softener and a Water Factory RO system. I once tried to change the filters on the RO myself and quickly learned that it was worth having a trained technician do it. These are rather complicated pieces of machinery (and expensive!). Why risk messing it up just to save a few bucks? Recently I needed some emergency advice on my water softener and I called the office. Roy, the owner, called me back quickly and asked me to text him a picture of my system (it was actually installed by a company that All Star bought). He then called me back quickly. And he followed up with me by phone on another question the next week. All in all, I think these guys have been very responsive, professional, and I would certainly recommend them.

This company does a great job. I have been using their services for both home and business for multiple years. Recently moved to a new location and they came quickly to install in our new home. I continue to rent the equipment due to the customer service and annual servicing that is included. Art has been our service/​install guy for years and does a wonderful job.

I paid Allstar Water in San Diego to install a Kenetico K5 under sink water system in our home about 18 months ago. They came out quickly to do the install and everything worked fine. The installer told us at the time that the filters lasted for years so no need to do anything, and he did not show us how to monitor the filter use.
A week ago our system stopped producing water and so following day I called All Star for service but was told I’d have to wait ten days. I asked if their wasn’t a way to get faster service and was told they could have one of their local techs do the work if they shipped filters to him
The next day, Tuesday, Allstar Water left me a voice mail saying I would be contacted by their local tech to arrange my service. Four more days went by and no calls from the tech or Allstar Water Systems. I next called Allstar again the following Friday morning first thing and I was told their tech would call me that day. Friday came and went again and no calls or follow up from the tech or AllStar.
I’m done with AllStar Water System. Trouble is Allstar has an exclusive territory or Kenetic and if you don’t like their service, well you have very limited options. They have an exclusive for all of San Diego and the Palm Springs area.
Now I’m having to hire an independent plumber after ordering filters from another dealer and having them shipped to me. Turns out the filters are exclusive too, and are at set prices with no discounts. By the time I get our new filters we’ll have been over two weeks with our Kenetic system down, and having consumed several large cases of bottled water with numerous trips to the store.
While we’ve been happy with the Kenetico K5 water system, the service provided by Kenetico’s exclusive dealer, AllStar Water Sytems in San Diego, and the hassle getting filters would sway me to say look for another water filter system, and forget AllStar Water Systems.
