After previously working as a young man for another moving company, Daniel saw the flaws in the industry and sought to create an experience for customers that was not only time and cost efficient, but positive and pleasurable as well. This is the second time we have used All Star Moving Inc. to move. I initially found this company online. The four guys were wonderful and very accommodating. Everyone involved with getting us ready for our new house all commented on how awesome they thought the movers were. The guys were very hard workers, courteous, and very professional. We booked All Star Moving under very short notice. Daniel, the owner answers the phone himself (calls are forwarded directly to his cell) which definitely gave me piece of mind. We discussed my needs and that I needed to get things going early in the day and Daniel didn’t hesitate. His guys showed up on time (a few minutes early in fact) and were extremely polite, well spoken young gentlemen. They followed instruction well, didn’t waste time (didn’t even take a lunch) and we knocked out the move quickly and efficiently. All in all and very good experience. I have moved multiple times and it is not typically a good experience. These guys made it the best move yet.

Thanks Daniel and movers Macgyver and Victor. My move went very well. Daniel was great on the phone scheduling and communication solid. On my moving day, all my furniture was handled gently. Macgyver and Victor are experienced movers with great work ethic and enthusiasm. Victor has obviously been doing this for a long time. He knew every angle to get my things in the house (dog door made sliding glass door small) and the things that had to be taken apart and put back together again were done skillfully. Both men were gentlemen! Best move I ever had. One thing was forgotten in the truck. Daniel communicated promptly and courteously. My clear acrylic desk protector was delivered to my doorstep as promised. Easily made mistake and completely fixed. Strong work men!

I cannot speak highly enough about this company and the owner Daniel. We had a local move from an apartment to our first home. I picked All-​Star becasue of their reviews online and they were spot on. The owner Daniel was great and very professional. We had to move our date and he accomodated us without issue. The movers were on time and did their best to move everything with care. We have two small children and three dogs and the movers took the time to make sure the dogs didn’t run out and the kids were safe when moving bigger items. One item was slightly damaged during the move, which sometimes happens, and Daniel worked with us every step of the way to get it repaired to our satisfation. I would recommend them to anyone and if we ever move again the first phone call I will make will be to Daniel. It’s nice to see a business who really cares about their customers.

Very short move from a storage unit to a new condo 5 minutes away. My parents just moved from Colorado to find a place to buy not knowing what they could afford and find. I have used All Star Moving for over five years for all my family moves… whether a trip from Carlsbad to San Clemente or Palm Springs to San Clemente… and both large residential homes or smaller move to an assisted living facility (All Star was even conscientious of the rules that surround many moves regarding HOA and Health care facilities) the movers have been professional kind and have great communication while they are on the road… the company is reliable and their prices are fair, when my family or friends (I have recommended them to friends) plan a move there is only one call to make All Star… Truly once you find a good mover you don’t look elsewhere… excellent company

On Sunday, 9/​27, I used this company to move from La Palma to the Hemet. From the first phone call to Daniel the owner, to the two gentlemen who moved me (Tyrone and his partner, and I don’t use the word «gentlemen» lightly) my experience with them was outstanding. The movers showed up early and worked quickly, diligently, and professionally to get me moved. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest company. «2nd time user, 1st time reviewer.» My bad. All-​Star actually just moved my office crosstown today. The truck was on-​time and the guys were eager to get ‘er done.
They handled the heavy office furniture with care maneuvering the bulky pieces through the doorway then draping them with heavy blankets as they strapped them into the truck. The guys also helped me box up and seal the loose knickknacks so we could get on the road once the heavy lifting was over.
Once at the new office space, they again carefully helped to put the puzzle back together again. I felt bad because one of the guys gauged his hand pretty good trying to keep my desk from falling. He didn’t miss a beat though and kept on trudging after nursing it for literally 2 minutes with a wad of paper towels. The driver had to move the truck a couple times while unpacking to accommodate customers leaving the busy parking lot, and did so without a grudge.
Obviously I would highly recommend the team at All-​Star because they actually helped to move my home from San Diego to San Clemente a few years back. I was specifically looking for them when I took to the Internet for this job and thankfully remembered their logo when I saw it (see pic.) They weren’t the bare-​bones cheapest, but they do a great job putting their money where their mouth is and facilitating a bearable experience.
Let’s face it– moving is no fun! But no need to put all your stuff (or your sanity) in jeopardy to save a few bucks. Let the professionals handle it. You’ll be thankful you did.

I chose to use All Star Moving based on their website and after talking with the owner. Sounded like a stand up guy and company. The move went relatively well, other than the movers not able to follow my directions or their GPS and getting lost for over an hour (and then ‘forgetting’ about that hour and trying to charge me for it) but they forgot to give me the stand for one of my TV’s and gave me someone else’s item — how that was on the truck I don’t know since I was the first move of the day. I called and talked to Danny, the owner, and he assured me that my stand would be dropped off in 2 days and the other piece taken back. Then silence. They didn’t show up when promised, he won’t answer or return my calls or voicemails. I’ve had to resort to disputing the charge with my bank since they didn’t actually complete my move since I am missing a belonging they admitted to having.
They are just like every other moving company — iffy at best — despite their website’s statements to the contrary. Stick with a 75 – 85 $/​hr company rather than this 102 $/​hr one — you will get the same level of service.
UPDATE: I finally received my item after I informed them I’d be disputing the charge (big surprise, huh?) so I upgraded to 3⁄5 stars.

We had a great experience with Daniel and his crew. We ended up booking All Star Moving Co because Daniel was able to give us an estimate that sounded fair and reasonable to us, after getting a quote from a moving company we had used for our last move that came in almost double at what we paid them previously (this move we were going a shorter distance and had less stuff so we were shocked that the move would be twice the amount). We are so happy we went with All Star Moving Co and will use them again in the future! On the day of the move the crew even arrived a little early which we were happy about to get the day started and the move going. We had a crew of 3 and the guys were efficient and got the job done in the amount of hours we expected. Thanks Daniel and crew!

I called Daniel because I needed a sofa moved from an upstairs room to my garage so that it could be picked up for donation to Habitat for Humanity. Habitat’s own movers had tried to pick up the sofa the week before but were unable to figure out how to get it through a narrow doorway. Daniel’s crew showed up on time and were extremely professional in analyzing and solving the problem and managed to get the sofa out without damaging it so that it could still be donated to a worthy cause. Daniel also charged a fair price in recognition that this was a very small job.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use All Star Moving again.

They were very efficient. They arrived on time — I was told they would arrive between 1pm and 2pm and they showed up right at 2pm). It took just over 2.5 hours to move everything from my two bedroom apartment to my new condo about 6 miles away and completely set everything up. They did not hesitate to move all of my boxes including those that were sealed very well. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they have a 4 hour minimum. I had purchased a 2 hour coupon on Amazon Local, and had to pay for another 2 hours plus drive time even though they really only worked about 30 minutes. The two movers were happy they finished early and could head home on a Saturday night, so it would have been nice to have only been charged for actual work time.

The two guys moved quickly and efficiently and from start to finish the entire move was completed in less than three hours — drive time included (two bedroom condo, Irvine to Dana Point). My only complaint is they showed up about a half hour late. I will definitely hire them again.

Just the facts.
Today is 12÷1÷14. Three weeks ago I booked a move with Daniel for Monday, 12÷1÷14 at 11am. I call Daniel at 11:15am and leave him a message. Daniel calls me back and says he had me booked for Tuesday 12÷2÷14. I remember speaking to him about Monday because the availablitly was more likely than Sunday, and I don’t work on Sunday and Monday. The next thing Daniel asks is if I really need to move out today? I told Daniel I need to work tomorrow, and everything is packed so I would need to unpack to go to sleep tonight, and repack tomorrow morning. This mistake is a big inconvenience, and could’ve been avoided by better organization and maybe a confirmation e-​mail.
I understand mistakes happen, but a manager’s job is to fix the businesses mistakes. Daniel said he called dispatch to see if any of his trucks could come out later, but they couldn’t. Why can’t they? Your employees don’t want to be paid overtime, or you don’t want to pay them overtime? I asked for a discount, Daniel said I couldn’t get a better rate than the one I was getting.
This was a an Amazon Local coupon rate. There are more negative reviews from customers that used Groupon as well. It would seem that they double book dates, and stand up the discounted customer. The All Star Movers website states «When you book a move with All Star Moving we always honor the reservation and never leave a client for a bigger job. It’s first come first served, with integrity.»
Accountablility is the key to business operations. If you shrug off your customers when you make a mistake, they will tell 5 more people not to use you. Make sure you take a week off from work if you are going to use All Star Movers or don’t even bother!

It has been 10 days since our move and I am still amazed, thinking back, at what a great job our team from All Star Moving did. I way under estimated the amount of time it would take to move our items from 3800 soft to 1500 sq ft. We had sold nearly every stick of furniture so it was mostly boxes! okay, well it was a lot of stuff. Daniel graciously suggested a 4 man crew. They showed up on time and were very courteous. They never complained if I changed my mind about where something should go. Mind you, we had 3 flights of stairs in the house and moved two flights up to our duplex… stairs for days. TY, ALAN, JAMES, and TERIC ran most of the time between trips. They joked with each other and had fun. They worked 12 hours with only two short breaks. When they finished they were still laughing and truly enjoying their time together and with us. I never heard them Complain even half heartedly when a piece of furniture was big or heavy. They constantly said «excuse me» if we crossed paths for which I clearly was in their way! They said thank you at every opportunity. Daniel is blessed to have this crew, and whomever is responsible for raising these young, hard-​working men, «job well done».
I hope I never have to move again but if I do, it will be All Star Moving!

Avoid. I used another company and had a wonderful experience. So, I assumed the bad reviews were just negative people. No so much.
My stainless fridge, dented and scratched! Dining chair missing! Dryer damaged! And liquor missing (costco sized bottles).
They were late, confused by my fridge and at least one seemed to be on some mood altering substance. I offered to remove the fridge doors to assist them. They insisted they could move it without having the doors removed. Both doors damaged and the back is dented as well. It also took an hour to move this one item.
At the new place, while the fridge was in the truck, they insisted that it would not fit into the kitchen. At this point, I am really tired of their complaining – are they professionals? So, they left the fridge in the garage. I contacted the owner who said I would be reimbursed for the cost of the doors (did not want to pay for labor to have the doors installed). Yes, the fridge is still in the garage so, I will need to hire professional movers to have it relocated and pay out of pocket for the doors to be install or do it myself. All this because I hired this company. Avoid — even if they offer half off.
Almost two months later and still waiting for reimbursement. Avoid this company!

No problems whatsoever. Daniel was helpful and professional. On the move day, two huge dudes showed up, early I might add, and proceeded to empty room after room.
They were fast and efficient even on the hottest day of the summer. No damage to anything, no complaints from me at all. A tremendous value and a great choice of movers.

I purchased the Spreebird deal (or was it Groupon?) for two hours of moving services, BUT I called before I bought it so I could get all the details. I have never used a moving company before and I didn’t know what the movers actually did for me and what I had to do myself. Daniel explained the 4 hour minimum and I explained that all I really needed help with was taking furniture apart and moving it and putting it back together. He told me his guys did all of that and I was on board. The movers were friendly, respectful, and even EARLY. I was really worried about hidden fees and charges, but I literally paid for 2.5 hours of moving and nothing more. No charge for saran wrap, no charge for bubble wrap, NO HIDDEN CHARGES. I was very pleasantly surprised :)
The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because the bunk beds were put back together and there were extra screws when they were done and they feel a little rickety. I’m not sure how well they paid attention when they took them apart, but it was a big, complicated set up so perhaps they missed something?
All in all, it was a great experience and I would recommend them.
