Hasty Movers

Hasty Movers is a nice little company consisting of the husband, wife and son. I was surprised that they rent a UHaul truck, but it was okay. They really needed a lift for my heavy furniture and piano. They got the move job done and were conscientious about moving the furniture. My furniture had been in storage and previously wrapped by another moving company so it was protected.
Hasty Movers doesn’t have the blankets and protective clothes that I am used to with other movers and doesn’t have the moving equipment that other movers have either. It was fortunate that my storage center had the flat beds to move the furniture because Hasty did not have this type of equipment which they need!
Also, I had told them I had a baby grand piano to move, in retrospect, I would not have used them, although they told me they could do it and would charge me extra. It was very difficult for them, they didn’t have the right move equipment and their man-​power was limited to the father and son with the wife helping… it was scary for me to say the least! I don’t think they should say they can move a piano or any really heavy furniture anymore.
Hasty Movers is not a professional moving company. They do not carry insurance for any breakage or damage.

The name is right on. These guys move hastily.
Definitely got our move done quickly, but they charged me based on an hourly estimate which we both knew was long. Damaged some of my property but nothing was broken. They were more interested in watching the clock than moving things carefully. Scrapes, scratches, bends… My stuff was literally crammed into a trailer and they tracked mud into my new home.
They are nice, friendly people but I can’t recommend them in good conscience. They’re the reason I won’t hire movers any more.

Sergio and Alejandro are amazing. They moved our 3 bedroom home in 1 trip — I could not believe it. Non-​stop hustle, quick, clean, and nothing damaged. If you are moving — this is who you want helping you.

These guys were excellent! Sergio and his counterpart (Alejandro?) moved my heavy office furniture with no complaints and no dings. The destination had no elevator either. They were very professional and reasonably priced. I would use them again.

My family recently moved from a 2,000 SF home in Orange to a home in Tustin. Sergio and his partner came and did an excellent job moving us — nothing was broken, they worked extremely hard and were very helpful!
I have had bad experiences with movers trying to charge me for every item they wrapped and charged for drive time, etc. Hasty Movers was extremely reasonable and there were no hidden charges.
Sergio and his crew were great and I would definitely use them again!

I used hasty movers again to pick up, and deliver a huge sectional for me. I was yet again pleased with them! Very prompt, fast, yet thorough, and very nice. They are also so affordable! I will always think of them next time I’m moving.

I just bought a 3000 square foot home and needed to move out of our 2000 square foot home that we were leasing. I called Hasty Movers and spoke to the wife of the owner who arranged for a quote/​visit the next morning at 8am. Sergio came our house to see what we had and explained their very reasonable pricing structure — two movers — 1 truck — all moving materials included — just $ 75 per hour — and the best part? The time doesn’t start until they are standing at your doorstep ready to start your move! (commentary — I don’t like the practice that other moving companies use of charging ME for them to come to work — so most companies charge an extra 30 minutes or an extra 60 minutes just to come) — Hasty Movers were very reasonable in this way.
We scheduled a 7am start time for the move and Sergio and his helper arrived ready to go! We finished at 6pm — we had a lot of stuff to move.
Nothing was broken! And Sergio especially was very handy with his tools — he disassembled and re-​assembled everything —
He even re-​hung some of the bike hooks from one garage to the new garage — and it felt like he was a partner in the move!
I would recommend Hasty Movers — and already have told others about this positive experience… THE BEST PART is you get SERGIO — because he is a small operation — owner/​operator!
