History

Established in 1989.

Started by a 12 year old boy, by the name of Victor Fanberg. He took mailorder locksmith course, started by riding bike throuout neighborhood, calling on neighbors. that was over 40 years ago. My name is Kurt Smith, I had the good fortune of working with victor and his father Maury and purchase business in 1987. We have been in this location for almost 40 years. Keeping up with industry, we provide solutions in Access Control, CCTV, telephone entry, along with being a full locksmith shop. Service Vans for outside service for residential, and commercial customers. Walk-​in shop with Showroom –Safes on display

Nice guys working here. I got two commercial office keys made here for $ 6.50 each. Another key place quoted me $ 30 for each key. Home Depot didn’t stock the keys I needed. He made me two keys in under 5 minutes and was very friendly. I will come here again for all my key needs. Check them out. All they do is locksmith work and key duplication. Professional and friendly.

Not a lot of employee turn over — that says a lot. Over the years, Ive gotten prompt and courteous service ranging from the new hire who isn’t afraid to learn, to the owner who will answer the phone on weekends. I’m sorry I don’t remember all your names … you are all A#1!
I’ve used this shop mainly for residential door locks and motorcycle and auto keys. They are always ready to go the extra mile to help me even though I am a small customer.

I went to Home Depot, then Busy Bees Locksmith and then called 3 places. This place was the only one that could made copies of a keys for me that were worn out. Home Depot didn’t even try because their computer couldn’t find the pattern. Busy Bee tried twice and they key failed. This place just rocked. I came back 2 days later and made another «difficult to make» key. These people were quick, courteous, and had reasonable prices. They are a little hidden off the main road but they are worth the trip if u have a difficult key to make.

A-​Advanced went above and beyond my expectations. Aaron came out and was super nice and efficient. We have a multi-​unit and multiple sets of keys that correspond to different doors (we want to be able to provide access for our nanny but don’t want to re-​key all the locks if she leaves). Aaron was great about understanding what we were asking for and making the changes. He even identified that one of our gate doors was missing some of his pins — since he didn’t have the pins in his van, he came back and fixed it later — gratis!
I really appreciated the additional service they offered and would definitely use and recommend them again.

Went to dinner and came back home to discover neither of us had our house key on us. Called and within 20 min (as promised) Sean arrived and within 10 min had us in our home — at a very reasonable price! I inherited a gun safe from my uncle and Kevin was able to re-​install the combination lock that my aunt had had «broken into» by another locksmith in northern California. I had called another locksmith and sight unseen they wanted a $ 150 call out charge (mobile service only) with a grand total of almost $ 300 to install the new lock.
Kevin and A-​Advanced Locksmiths were very professional and courteous and had the work done in a couple of hours. Price was 1⁄5th of what the other locksmith wanted too!

Update 6÷1÷2013: I needed to get a Lexus-​EBay key cut at this lockshop and they wanted $ 50 a key! Well, I’ll pay $ 25/​key at another establishment, thank you very much, LOSE ONE STAR !!!

Unbelievably rude! The two times I have spoken to someone here they have have been rude and demanding. Not at all helpful or courteous. I would take my chances with a randon locksmith from the yellow pages any day rather than put up with an attitude on the other end of the phone. Especially when I am paying good money for their services. It’s called Customer Service for a reason!

I called A-​Advanced because they are two blocks from my work and I locked my keys in the car. They were very nice and showed up quickly, but seriously, $ 65 for a 2 min drive and a 1 min unlocking? Seems pretty steep but whatcha going to do? I like to support local businesses but sheesh, that’s pricey.
