Great! Knocked on the door, walked in was taken care of right away and given instructions on what to expect next. Friendly staff and cozy office.

Needed an NDA signed. Was in and out in 5 minutes. $ 10. And ironically the sample my employer provided was from the same notary! Highly recommend!
FYI it’s a back office behind the Pay Day Loans place. Looks sketchy walking up at first but super nice place and nice guys!

I needed a live fingerprint scan for a volunteer position. This was the first to pop up in my Unilocal search. I called and made an appointment. The place is a little sketchy as it’s hidden and it’s a part of an apartment. Don’t fret, looks are deceiving. I enter and I am greeted by this wonderful and friendly office dog (a chiwawa mix). I hand my paperwork to the guy and I wait about 10 minutes for him to prepare the process for me.
The 10 minutes went by fast as I was playing with the dog. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if he even took half an hour. The guy brings me to the hallway and begins my fingerprint scans. It took about 5 minutes.
I’m extremely satisfied with the overall process. It was fast and efficient. Also, their services were cheaper than usual, too. Only $ 10, but keep in mind it also varies for what service you’re needing.
Fifi definitely approves!

I had something I needed notarized at my mother’s home. The first two notaries I called were booked that day. When I called IAR and said I needed someone within an hour or so, I was told someone would be there in 30 minutes or so. Dante arrived 25 minutes later. He was so nice and helpful. I really appreciate the great customer service.

Took my parents here to get durable powers of attorney signed and had a wonderful time. everyone is very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. We were given a senior discount that I couldn’t believe! These guys rock!

Overall, this place was fantastic. I came here to get a live scan and pictures done for my NCLEX application and was greeted with exceptional service. Augie, the person who did my photos/​live scan, was very quick and professional. He was very warm and welcoming, and made sure I had all the necessary paperwork, etc done. One thing I may suggest for future customers is to call in and plan an appointment for it can get busy very quickly. Would definitely make the 40 minute drive here again for any future needs!

Left a message through his ‘contact us’ link through his email at 1015 pm for notary service the next morning. He called me at 830 the next morning and told me to come right in. 45 minutes later we were done signing our mortgage paperwork and he even offered me a discount since we had so many stamps. Awesome service! Highly recommend!

Since I was in a bit of a time crunch, I decided to check this place out. With no appointment, I just dropped in around 12:30 and there was no one else there. My live scan probably took less than 6 minutes once walking in. I was greeted immediately and the manager (?) took a few minutes to explain the process to me, which was nice. She also said I came at a perfect time since it can be busy at times. The guy took a minute to scan my CA ID, and he’s like a fingerprint rolling ninja… literally took 2 minutes (but probably even less than that!!) Once I paid I was out the door.
It really doesn’t get any simpler than that. The price was great, only paid $ 20 compared to some other places I’ve gotten a live scan.

It can be easy to pass up because it’s behind the Western Union. It can even seem sketchy due to it’s «hidden» location… Like one of those backdoor ally clubs with the little rectangle slide open peep holes where the big buff security guy slides it open and asks you what the password is… Ok, so I exaggerated a bit, but anywho! It’s really nice and homey inside… You definitely feel at home and comfortable. Like a «I’m gonna take a nap on this here leather couch» kind of comfortable lol.
It was an easy, quick, and painless experience. These people are professional and are truly about their work. I DEFINITELY recommend coming here to handle your fingerprinting or passport photos or whatever other services they offer (lol). The guy who helped me out was super friendly and personable.
They had a can of Popeye spinach with the BeeGees bumpin’. FOR THEE WIN.

They accept cash, credit cards (using Square), or they’ll invoice you. Service just doesn’t get any better.

I waited until the last minute to pay my DMV registration fees. They were able to take me right away. Service was professional and quick. Next thing I know I’m back in my car with a receipt for my paid registration and NEW tags.
Next time I won’t be so close to missing the cutoff for payment and I’ll definitely make an appointment with these guys. Why go to DMV?

This place is located at a good area with plenty of parking spots on El Camino Real. They are right behind the Western Union.
I needed to get my fingerprints done for a job and the guy that helped me (I think his name was Dante) he was very nice. The service was super fast.
I did have to schedule this appointment though. I think they get pretty busy sometimes, but when I went there I was the only one.
Oh and I paid $ 94 to get my fingerprints done.

I like that these folks know what they are doing.
For the scan I needed, it was all set up for the requester to pay any government fees, so all I had to pay was the $ 20 livescan fee. I appreciate that the guy knew that right off (isn’t obvious from looking at the form). Also I’ve read reviews from other places where people ended up paying for more of a check than they needed, because the staff was clueless. here they are clued-​in.
Also a note that the guy was quite competent in how he rolled my finger. From jiujitsu I understand what joint manipulation done badly feels like, and frankly I was in good hands with this guy. all I can see is «relax and roll with it.» again, from reading about other places, there are folks that don’t know what they are doing. here they get it.
The location is right by a jack in the box, behind the UPS store. I was in and out in under 10 minutes, probably closer to 5. $ 20. The tiny dog is cute, too.

Wow. This place is so easy to pass by on El Camino. It’s located right in between Western Union and Jack in the Box. Yes it does feel a little sketch walking in, but you’ll be amazed at how nice it was inside. They even have a dog that comes and visits. (:
I came in with no appointment because I was in a need to get my live scans done asap. Can’t start my first big girl job without it. Haha. Dante was very accommodating (since I had no appointment) and helped me through the experience and explained how live scans worked to me. Anyways it was quick and painless. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes for a live scan and photo (I am so happy they let me see the picture before he printed it. We all don’t want some horrible picture of us floating around somewhere). (: He didn’t even have to redo anything! So very professional.
Other services they provide besides live scan are car registration, notaries, and passport photos. Steal! So if you need your license for whatever profession you are in, this place is def a good place to go. You can get your passport photo quality and live scan all done in one place!
Anyways, I would def come again if I ever need another livescan. The prices are amazing and they do provide discount for some professions (; Service is amazing and some of the best I have every received! There is always parking — just park on the side streets if there isn’t any in front.

I went in for a LiveScan and ended up getting the passport style photos I needed done here too. This was a visit for pretty standard, no frills tasks, but these guys were spot on. They explained everything I had questions about, left me feeling really confident.
Their sevices are all over the map, and they have a perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. If i ever had a need for help with a title, notarizing, or general business predicament, this is the first place I’d go.
Head’s up, their office is right behind the Western Union. Walk around that building on the right side and you’ll see IAR. They have an adorable office dog, Evie, who is also at your service.

I came here to get my live scan so that I could get registered by the EMS Agency in San Mateo.
I didn’t know about the live scan request forms, so Augie helped me print out the paperwork I needed, and Bridget did the finger prints. Service was professional and quick. Both were very nice, personable and very comfortable to be around. Their office is also clean and nicely ornate.
Pricing is slightly cheaper than UPS, and definitely a much more friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
