So incredibly thankful for Heather at Emali Lane! She saved my hair which was florescent red at the roots and dull, dark brown all over after a trip to another salon last week. I also had a horrible hair cut (razor on wavy, flyaway hair).
Heather worked magic and I could not be more thrilled! This woman is gifted!
She and the entire staff were so gracious. They knew I had just had a rather traumatic hair color/​cut experience and went out of their way to reassure me that I would look great.
They deserve 10 stars!

Wouldn’t go any where else or trust anyone else w/​my hair! The owner, Elizabeth has been doing my hair for 10+ years & she is amazing! You do need an appt well in advance, these ladies are so good at what they do that they stay booked. Super clean place, everyone is super friendly! Definitely worth the price.

I have been a LOYAL customer since 2010 and I pray that my hairdresser stays there FOREVER. Heather does such a great job with my hair people stop me and ask where I go. A few even want to take pictures of my hair. For a wash, cut, blow dry and tip I spend about $ 60. This place is not cheap and when you have a bob like me I have to go every 7 weeks so to me it is expensive. But I keep going because I love my haircut.
Couple of things that you need to know: you NEED an appointment they are always busy. I try and do a walk in and it never is an option. Maybe because I only want Heather to touch my hair … but I am often disappointment that I can’t get in last minute.
The place is clean, well lit (this is a very important plus), and everyone is friendly. They have a nail tech but unfortunatly she can’t work on you the same time you are getting your hair done … am I asking for too much?

Biggggg thanks to Heather who did my bridal updo for my wedding on march 16^th. She did an outstanding job and was super friendly! I got so many compliments on my hair and she really did exactly what I asked for my hair. My hair was in place and didn’t move an inch the whole night! I would definitely recommend her in an instant to other brides! Thanks again!

Wow, I called this place to get a gift certificate for my mom’s birthday today. The woman on the phone was completely rude and seemed like I was wasting her time. She hung up on me. Unbelievable.

I went in about 2 weeks ago and saw Stephanie (after being referred when my regular independent stylist, April Cole, was out of town). Stephanie swore she could match my color and it was imperative considering my 30^th birthday is tomorrow. She not only screwed it up and tried to let me go home with a golden ring around my head, but she «fixed» it and charged me for BOTH treatments. I got home and STILL had a yellow ring around my head. I had to travel all the way to Austin to go to Aveda in order to have it fixed. I would not recommend this salon to ANYONE who values their hair as I do mine!

Erin Jackson from Emali Lane did my highlights and updo for my wedding earlier this month. I asked her for very natural highlights that would brighten up my hair, and she completely delivered. She also created a timelessly elegant updo for my wedding, and it lasted through hours of dancing. She did my mom’s updo as well, incorporating hair extensions to provide fullness. Meanwhile, Heather cut my husband’s hair, giving him a very clean-​cut Mad Men look, and she also did my bridesmaid’s adorable updo. After the wedding, Erin took my sister from brunette to blonde. They are super friendly here, and I highly recommend it.

First visit using a Groupon I purchased. Nancy did an amazing job on the brows. And got a great cut from Evelyn. Will definitely return!

Went to Emali Lane off a Groupon offer earlier this fall and have gone back ever since! Heather is the best! But shhhh… don’t tell anyone… I don’t want to share her! Just kidding… the prices are pretty reasonable and they are all very friendly!

The staff made me feel completely at home. The massage was amazing, my eyebrows no longer look like one caterpillar fighting to hang on to my face, and my hair actually has a style-​whereas I previously looked like a middle schooler with a mop on her head. Even when I busted my face in the middle of the salon (I admit my clumsiness with pride) — all the girls were super sweet and we just giggled. Some places would have snickered and made the major clutz in me feel even more embarrassed than I already was but these girls shared all their face busting stories w/​me. Great atmosphere! Will definitely be back– even without a Groupon
