I went to this Restraunt on Friday @6:00pm, and a young woman took our order and forgot too take my order. When I went back to complain, I was served a cold fish dinner. I went back and the manager just said sorry and walked away. I will not go there again. Rude service and cold food is not what I expect

I love Culver’s. 2nd time going and they were just as good as the first time. They play Christian music which is soothing while enjoying your meal and everyone greets you with a smile. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone. Their beef is all natural, no steroids. You leave stuffed and satisfied!

You shouldn’t have to be gourmet or fancy to deserve 5 stars. For the money we paid, it was outstanding service and great food! The young man that took our order was happy to explain many of the popular foods when he learned it was our first time there. They also bring the food to your table too. The burgers tasted fresh but weren’t too greasy either. Plus the custard was really good too. If you want burgers, a side, drink, and custard for under $ 10 a person this is the best place.

It’s so weird that the day before I found this place I was watching a YouTube video about Wisconsin and their cheese curds and butter burgers! I only came here for the fried cheese curds because I LOVE cheese, but my boyfriend got a burger that he said was good, but not the greatest. The cheese curds however, awesome! Nice and squeaky, just like the video said they should be lol. I will totally be back for the fried cheese curds!

The food is good, especially the burgers(though not quite to the level of Backyard Burger). The staff was nice, the restaurant was clean, and prices were reasonable. We really liked that they include a coupon with the kids menu that you can redeem for a scoop of frozen custard. This was a big hit with our kids. What more do you want from a fast food place? If we lived closer, we’d probably visit often.

Culver’s whipped cream has the consistency of melted ice cream. It ruins any custard it’s used on. Avoid.

The custard didn’t taste the same! Something was off. The food was the same and good though. But I mainly come for the custard. It wasn’t smooth at all; instead, it was grainy.

Visited late night — restaurant was fairly empty, but drive thru busy so decided to eat in. Nothing special about décor(this is a fast food place — right?) but good enough to park for a minute. They must have read the other Unilocaler’s smell complaint because it smelled just fine for our visit. Butter burger with cheese and bacon: Must have been thicker cut because it stayed together without crumbling during first bites. Had the single and it was filling. Can get all burgers as a single, double or triple. They use red onions instead of regular white. Cheese curds: really didn’t know what they were so found out that they are mini-cheese sticks. Recommend the Root Beer! It was very smooth with a clear root beer flavor, but it didn’t feel harsh(think Coke) when it went down. Ice cream: Wanted to try it, but was full. They have frozen custard with different toppings and preparations that was calling my name.

Good reasonable burger all for great price service is great as well. Me and my wife come here quite a bit for an affordable night without sacrificing quality in what we want.

Wanted a treat for our last night in SAT. Unilocaled and found Culver’s. Think I had this prior but don’t remember. Tried a butter burger, it was tasty but didn’t really taste any butter :) The custard reminded me of the McFlurry drinks of MCD where they mix in the candy with the milkshake. I think this needs to be eaten on site right away to appreciate the custard. Fun kid spot.

I give this 4 stars because, when you walk into the place the first thing you smell is restrooms. Nobody wants to smell that before eating! The dining area smelled like dirty wet carpet. The girl cleaning the tables was trying to kill a fly with rag she was cleaning tables with LOL. It was kinda gross, but needless to say the the cheese curds were on point! The burger was good… nothing grand! Fries were nice & hot just the way I like em! Vanilla custard was pretty good, but too sweet for mehhh. When i go back, I’d probably just order through the drive thru!

I only came for the cheese curds! I was ecstatic to find that San Antonio had a location. The curds were cooked to perfection. The employee at the drive thru was extremely friendly. There were spots in the parking lot that looked like they are under construction so I can see it being a cluster during busy hours, otherwise the visit was great.

Great burgers and fries. The custard is also delicious. Customer service is always top notch. Their homemade root beer is a must. Beyond their burgers, the fish and roast are always on spot. This is definitely a step up from the regular fast food burger.

One star because you didn’t give me any ketchup an u definitely messed up my tenders by not giving me ranch that I asked for twice! service is meh! Really peeves when condiments are left out!

Hands down one of the better fast food places around. Been coming here for awhile and I must say the food is awesome. Anything on the menu taste really good not just the burgers. Service is great! Always treated with a smile and always accomodating. Whenever I pick up drive thru I never have to look at the order cause I know the order is always going to be right. I’ve gone countless times and not once has my order been wrong. I highly recommend trying this place out from the ice cream to the burgers to the fish. Even the enchilada soup is really good!

Culver’s is always great. This one is no exception. Good food, good service. Don’t know why there aren’t more of them around SA. If you’ve never been here definitely worth the stop.

I adore culvers. Had no idea how much I enjoy custard until I went to culvers. The chocolate flavor is the best, and I get the flavor of the day if it is chocolate based. Yummy. Their chicken fingers are better than regular fast food joints. You know there is real chicken inside. Crinkle cut fries are pretty good. Family friendly, fantastic service that outshines other fast food places. Go online if you want to know their flavor of the day. So glad the location is a bit out of the ways from me, or else I’d be readily gaining custard pounds. Love you culvers!

This is not your typical fast food place. This place will blow your taste buds out of the water. I’m not even sure how to begin… Culver’s and I are in a committed long distance relationship. haha I started going to Culver’s in 2009 and it was love at first bite! The food is so fresh and the staff is awesome. Culver’s is based out of Wisconsin where all the cheese is produced. Honestly, when I’m there I feel like Paula Deen is in the kitchen cooking me something delicious. These burgers are made to order and they are consistent every time! You must get the cheese curds and onion rings! They are super crispy and fresh! Most people don’t know but the have dinner meals too like fried chicken, salads, soups, pot roast, fish. It’s definitely the best comfort food under $ 10 per person. If you are a college student you also get a discount! The desserts… WOW. There’s so much to choose from… custard, lemon ice with real lemon zest, concrete mix, shakes, sundaes… They have so many flavors! Everything is so good!!! This place reminds me of Serendipity in Las Vegas except it’s convenient and affordable. All the desserts are PERFECT and will definitely keep you satisfied.

And the Heavenly gates opened forth, and bestowed upon the city of San Antonio a Culver’s… For this Wisconsin-born San Antonian, nothing takes me back to my home state of cheese, beer, Cheese, brats, and CHEESE quicker than a visit to Culver’s. Based in Sauk City, Wisconsin, this cheesehead adores and craves the fried cheese curds and BUTTERBURGERS at Culver’s, a Wisconsin staple. If you are unfamiliar with cheese curds, they are simply little pieces of cheese, unaged and not yet pressed into the familiar wheels and bricks. They are shipped as they are, misshapen little chunks of heaven! Battered and deep fried(yes, rather unhealthy, but YUM!), they are a delicacy in Wiscoinsin, especially fresh from the dairy. Unfortunately, for us purists, by the time they make it here to Texas(same for the fresh cheese curds sold at Central Market), they lose that«squeak». No problem! Just as good! You MUST have the Butterburger! Culver’s trademark burger, with a buttery toasted bun and FRESH(not frozen) Midwestern grain fed beef. Top it with REALWISCONSIN cheddar cheese(or Swiss) and add some BACON, and you’ve got another slice of heaven on a bun. And don’t forget about the custard. Yes, in the true tradition that IS Wisconsin, AMERICA’S DAIRYLAND, the custard is made with fresh milk from Wisconsin bovines! You must try! So yes, Culvers, Wisconsin’s Pride here will certainly return again and again, you betcha! «And the Lord saw Culver’s, blessed it, and it was good. And He rested. And had a Butterburger»
