Yumiberry Frozen Yogurt

Great place to sit and sip for a few. The vibe is great and the customer service is awesome. The bobs here is REALLY good.

This place has the best boba in SA in my opinion. It’s better than suckit. The bubbles have a better texture and the flavors are also more satisfying. Also the shop has more of a family friendly atmosphere, like orange leaf or other froyo places

If you don’t visit Yumi Berry Frozen Yogurt you’re missing out on THE BEST Frozen Yogurt in the San Antonio area. The Bubble Tea is delicious too. So glad we found this place today!!!

I used to love this place, but in the past month, I’ve gotten like 4 teas with no syrup in them. Just plain old gross green tea, when I ask for mango or plum or something.
And it’s not like the place is busy. The staff just isn’t paying attention. For $ 4, with only one customer in the store, you think they’d get the order right.

BOBA is on point y’all. And I’m a boba critic. It’s rare that I find a place that can make boba as perfectly chewy & springy between the teeth and sweetened just right like I make it.

Fro-​yo wasn’t bad either. I tasted the chocolate, taro, and watermelon. They were yummy!
But the boba is money!

Friendly service and great smoothies. They have cool unique flavor combos. So far I have tried the Taronaunt: taro and coconut, the White Blossom: lemon, raspberry and lychee, and the Avocado Coconut. I’ve really enjoyed all of them with the exception of the avocado one, it was on the sweet side. But I think that had to do with the person making the drink because I tried my friends from another visit & it wasn’t that sweet. The boba is perfectly cooked and has a hint of honey to it.
I haven’t tried their yogurt yet. They don’t have the biggest fro-​yo selection compared to their smoothies but they have a wide variety of toppings including popping boba. If you haven’t tried the popping boba, you need to! It’s like a burst of flavor popping in your mouth. Super fun stuff!
They offer free wifi and have cool artwork throughout the shop. Overall this is becoming my favorite bubble tea place.

I feel like I can give a review on Yumiberry now that I’ve tried all of their offerings.
If I was reviewing this place solely on fro-​yo, I’d have to give it a resounding NO (okay, I know that’s not a rating on Unilocal,but just go with it). I mean, it’s okayyyy, but when you have Orange Leaf a mile down the street, why waste your time with sub-​par fro-​yo? Their flavors are pretty lame, and they usually have three or four blank spaces. And after visiting this place for over a year, I’m pretty sure they have yet to change their flavors. Basically I’m giving Yumiberry a one and a half star for their fro-​yo.
What saves them is their bubble tea. Five stars for bubble tea! When I went the other day, the guy was super patient with me when I asked a million questions about their different choices. He was knowledgeable and helpful, and offered great customer service. I got the small honeydew cream tea (I think — it was the one that was blended with ice and milk so it was kind of like a smoothie/​shake) with regular tapioca pearls. YUMMMM! They also have two different sizes, so the small size was perfect to satisfy my craving.
We’ve had a mixture of experiences with their customer service, however. Beware of some of the associates! Some are a bit aggressive with their marketing, and it’s a turn-​off. One of the associates in particular came up to my husband and I, kept trying to make awkward conversation while we were eating our fro-​yo, and then put a random hat on my husband. (Reading that again, it really doesn’t make sense. But it happened.)
So I guess to sum it up, go for the bubble tea and skip the fro-​yo. And beware of the hat bandit associate.

Still 5 stars yall and going strong. Been here at least 10+ times now. Just wish they had a rewards program. The employees are super nice still too. Our bubble tea creator left a special message on my drink (see pic). Love them!

Best frozen yogurt I have had since I have lived in Texas! Lots of toppings and selection of menu items and extremely friendly staff! I can’t wait to go back! Yum

Had the taro boba and it was ok. I love the taro flavor so it’s hard to go wrong. Had more of a powdery taste to it though, which sometimes I enjoy. It wasn’t great though :/​I didn’t finish it :(

I really was hoping this place was gonna bring the Yummy in Yumiberry. Sadly it just didn’t send me over the moon and back to froyo heaven. Now keep in mind 3 stars means that a biz is A-​Ok in your book and that’s what this place is. I appreciate the free games and love the «Yumbrary» of books for people to borrow (and return) during their stay.
Two yogurts with toppings came about to $ 8 which was pretty sick.
This is totes a college focused place which makes sense as this location is fairly close to UTSA and it’s a great opportunity to appeal to them. What was pretty smooth was how they close at ten pm on Sundays which is always a nice change of pace when you’re wanting to do something late in the evening. #sundayfunday
Why yes I did use a hashtag in this review and have no shame in my review game. Ha! Just rhymed on that last sentence but now I’m digressing…
There are a few different flavors to select from, with the helpful visual images on each flavor. I sampled a few in those little ketchup (what’s the proper way to say that word, it’s an ongoing battle for anyone who chats with a Texan) cups and that’s always a nice touch when referencing customer service.
The flavors themselves were a little bit on the sweet side which doesn’t pertain to my likings, i prefer sour and tart flavors. To the point where my taste buds are no longer in existence. You pay by weight which is a nice touch and I must say the topping bar is pretty in appearance. One thing that I wasn’t too keen on was how the fruit was pretty bruised and definitely looked like it had been out for a while.
Pertaining to the yogurt itself the texture is a little smooth and not «frozen» enough. My yogurt melted super quick and turned into a broth with fruit in a matter of minutes. Wasn’t looking for a soup so I only enjoyed it while it lasted.

One of the best frozen yogurt places in town. Just as many flavors as Yogurt Zone and their yogurt is better and they have lots of great toppings. Try their lychee, or agar jelly toppings. They also have boba tea which I have to try next time. Servers here are very friendly and the place has a cozy local «coffee shop» feeling.

Very delicious Boba Tea and very nice employees in a coffee shop vibe atmosphere. I like the Taro with Boba it tastes like cookies. So refreshing on a Hot Texas Summer day!

I will need to go back, I was not a big fan of their tea, boba and I love tea, so I need to go back to try something else.
If I were to only rate the tea, it would be ²⁄₅ but the environment, friendly workers, and multiple options it would not be fair. I would encourage people to try it for sure :)

OMG, so this is like a hit in miss but it’s your fault 100%, so you can make some interesting tasting combinations, but when you make the right ones, it is SOOOOO DELICIOUS, vanilla and honey, woot woot!

I love this place. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The bubble teas are amazing. The froyo is great. The atmosphere is fantastic. Will always choose this place over yogurt zone and orange leaf.

My first time at yumiberry and yes I will be back :) I went during my lunch hour to pick up a few orders, the staff was super friendly, the bubble tea was great and the price was very reasonable. I was able to mix three flavors for .50

They have around 8 different flavor of yogurt and they are all delicious, you can taste the flavors before making your decision. They also have a wide variety of toppings, for 2 yogurts we paid $ 10.70
Cool atmosphere they have board games and the service is friendly and quick.

The ambiance is that of a typical hip boba shop with paintings and art on the wall. The interior seems clean and is colorful. There are also games and books if you want to hang out there with friends and occupy yourself.
I had a mango cream boba and sampled some of the yogurt sorbets. I’d probably give the boba a 2 here. The mango cream boba seemed artificially sweet to me and needed more cream I think. I prefer a more natural mango flavor. It might be a good idea to use the yogurt as the cream instead of whatever they are using. I tried the my friend’s avocado boba and it also tasted a little off. Overall, the boba smoothies are drinkable here, but I wouldn’t crave it and I don’t think I would get it the next time I came here.
I also got to try a few of the froyo sorbets. I tasted the orange and mango sorbets. The flavors were pretty decent (I prefer it to be a bit more tart though), but the texture wasn’t to my liking. Their yogurt is also noticeably softer than I’d like. I prefer a sturdier, thicker yogurt texture. They seem to have a wide variety of toppings here which is nice.
Overall, this place isn’t awful, but it certainly isn’t the best I’ve had. I’d probably only go back here with friends and I’d opt for the froyo.

I recently read an article about this frozen yogurt shop in the local newspaper and also saw some good reviews on Unilocal so I decided to check it out.
You see, I like frozen yogurt, bubble tea, free wifi, and art. Yumiberry happens to have all four things and more.
Let’s talk about the yogurt first. I had chocolate, taro, pomegranate and some fruit toppings. Yum! I have to give the yogurt a five star. It was very refreshing for a hot summer day. One reviewer commented that it was a little watery but I don’t like my yogurt too heavy so it was just right.
Now the bubble tea. I have to say the bubbles were decent but the drink was a little too powdery to my liking. It was pretty heavy and wasn’t very refreshing. So I give it 3.5 star. Coco’s café in Austin is still my favorite place for bubble tea.
The shop is bright and inviting. Customer service is great. They checked on me to see if everything was good. Free wifi, who doesn’t love that? Art work from local artists on the wall? Awesome. And board games!!! I think they have a discount program too if you sign up with your phone.
Overall, I can see this place being the spot for me to get my frozen yogurt fix. Or even to hang out and chill. Hopefully the bubble tea will be better next time. Yumiberry, very yummy!
